DO NOT waste your time hiring this person. You may get estimates that are lower than other places, but the estimates do not mean anything to him. He will ask you to pay him in front based on the hours, and he will finish a job that is half an hour in his estimate in 16 hours. I regret that I trusted him and besides, the work that he did has to be redone. Waste of money and time.

This contractor doesn’t even deserve stars. If I could give him negative stars I would.
My wife and I hired Jon for a remodeling project in our condo based on his significantly lower estimate of the job. Since then we sincerely regretted our decision. We realized that we made a mistake even before starting of the job with his unprofessional behavior and language. We, however, stuck with him since he charged us for the 30% of the total estimated time of the project and total expense amount upfront, before he even bring his tools to the place! We were hoping that his quality of work be better than his personality but… so not true!
From the very first moment he started bragging about every single details of the project and brought nothing but the frustration for us. He changed his estimate significantly with the excuse of missing some major items of the project in the estimate, like installing hardwood flooring in the bedroom (How can you miss that in a one bedroom apartment?). He completed a task that was estimated half-​an-​hour (0.5 hr) in almost two full working days and when we asked the reason he responded that that was only the estimate and that’s why the estimates are free!!! He assumed everybody as fools!
He quit the job unannounced after barely showing 5% progress in the project and refused to refund us the remaining money! The first day that he didn’t show up for work an official from our condo came up and thanked me for not working with person anymore as he apparently had issues with building’s staff every day, in only a few days of work he had for us.
I hope nobody’s road crosses this contractor ever ever ever… and ever!!! I call this by far the most miserable experience of my whole life.
