One of the best massages I’ve ever had! My therapist, from Therapy Professionals, was truly wonderful, in that she provided both a relaxing massage, yet worked vigorously to get my tight muscles loose. And if you schedule a massage, you have access to the large, art-deco swimming pool and three level fitness center. The price was just right: 90 min massage and unlimited pool access for $ 150. The locker room facilities were pretty good, but not spa-luxurious. There is a rather good sized dry sauna. The toiletry amenities were decent: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, lotion, q-tips, hairdryer and mouthwash. The shower facilities are quite roomy. My only complaint(and the reason for the one star reduction) is that the massage room I had was right off the entrance to the women’s locker room, which meant I could hear everyone who entered/exited, as well as the showers, hair dryers and toilets flushing. The therapist played very relaxing music during the massage, but I was nevertheless distracted. When I completed a questionnaire at the end of my massage, I noted the noise factor, and the front desk attendant apologized profusely. She said next time I could ask for a different room upstairs, which is suppose to be very quiet. Despite the noise, I almost fell asleep during my massage. And afterward I felt loose and relaxed, yet energized at the same time. Overall, a great experience.
