Easily the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. Ordered two different things thinking that maybe the person was bad, but the cycle was just terrible I ended up just walking out to leave and entire plate on the table. How is this place in business.

They apparently are under new management because their customer service skills have improved tremendously. Only reason they dont get a 5 star is because i live 10 min or less away and it still takes over an hr for delivery. They have admitted that their delivery sucks. At least they can admit it but the food has gotten better for sure

Waited an hour to pay a tip for a driver that could not figure how to use the intercom so I can buzz him into the building. Had to go to the lobby and get it myself. That would not have been so bad had my jumbo shrimp contain more than THREE shrimp. So not worth it.

This is probably the worst Chinese food restaurant in the city of Chicago. My husband and I dropped by for a quick lunch. We both ordered the seafood fried rice lunch special. We were told that it has imitation crab and shrimp. I opted out of the imitation crab, but my husband decided that it would be ok. This place has the smallest shrimp in fried rice that I have ever seen. My husband’s egg roll was over cooked. Still he didn’t complain until he discovered that he had maybe a tablespoon full of the imitation crab. When he questioned the staff they told him, what do you expect for $ 6.79? Trust me avoid this place. The food taste horrible. Very expensive for the amount of food provided.

Watery, mushy and expensive. We ordered jumbo shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein and shrimp & broccoli. All overcooked and under seasoned. Egg rolls were freezer burned and tasteless. Guy at counter was rude. This place was good at one time. Avoid.

Gave them 1 chance after getting a flier in our mail. Baaaad decision. Shrimp Egg Foo Young — watery and flavorless, BBQ Pork Lo Mein — poorly seasoned and horribly bland. So close to Chinatown where regulars are a bit more savvy and they are serving this? As Papa John’s says«Better ingredients better Pizza(even though his pizza sucks). Same principle applies to good Chinese food and this place taste like they cook with used ingredients. Bottom line, don’t waste your time… Try Moon Palace

On of the worst Chinese meals I’ve had in Chicago. Ordered the sweet n sour chicken. Totally tasteless. The rice was just rice tinted with soy. Couple sprouts. Scallions. Nothing’s else. The chicken sauce with just one tomato slice(tomato on sweet n sour?) and another slice if green bell pepper and 2 little chunks of pineapple that were added before serving. Not coming back. On this town you can but superb Chinese very close. Not here

Told cashier we didn’t want msg in our chicken fried rice since I was allergic to it. Instead the dish was flavored with msg… had to have several ladles of it cause I couldn’t finish the order. It was that bad. I got sick and vomited afterwards. Stay away. Msg makes my heart palpitate and head hurt. It also is dangerous for your health.

We’ve eaten here twice in the last month, mainly because it’s convenient with the parking lot and all. But, the food is okay too. The staff(same on each occasion), are super friendly with us. Maybe it’s cuz my kids(seriously) look like little animé-children come to life and they’re fun and behaved. We ordered the lunch specials for dinner(extra $ 1 – 2 on top of the lunch price depending on what you order). In addition to your entrée, you get to pick 3 sides(ranging from a can of pop, broccoli, lo-mein, fried rice, chicken, etc.). You can ask for MSG-free food, except for the fried rice which automatically gets seasoned with the MSG. Food was served hot and tasted very good. Ample dine-in space(booth/table set up along one wall, tables on the other side). TVs in each corner. Fridges for the soda, but also a self-serve fountain machine. Smoothies or bubble tea made to order as well. Great selection of flavors.

Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. Don’t go there!!! The food is average so it’s not worth even trying. If you really want Chinese food, go down 1 mile to China Town.

Stay away from this place totally. The owner has no respect for customers. He has a real bad attitude and acts like he is doing you a favor when you eat here. I guess he does not realize that if it were not for customers this idiot would not be in business. How this guy stays in business is beyond me. These people that run this place have no people sense, common sense and no manners what so ever. Find yourself another Chinese Restaurant. There are tons of them.

I love this place. You can tell that the food is made fresh and YOU really get some Great bang for your buck. If you’re like me and can’t get Chinese food without a couple crispy crunchy treats on the side(egg rolls, crab rangoon) then this is your place! For $ 6.99 you get an entrée and 3 sides. It’s a great deal. I went there tonight and got the Mongolian Chicken with 1) soup 2) egg roll and 3) fried rice. I also got an order of Crab Rangoon. My total was just under $ 12.00 This fed me and my boyfriend well! The Mongolian Chicken was verrry tasty. It’s not as spicy as I would like, but next time I go I will request they spice it up a bit for me. The Crab rangoon was probably the most disappointing because there is barely any filling in there, but it was crispy and fried to perfection. I recommend this place to anyone looking for some great Quick Chinese food!

Best kept secret, tucked away in strip mall,. This take out resturant does have 6 – 8 tables, it’s a take out restaurant. Food was fresh and delivery always hot.

This review could easily have been 4 stars, except this place has, by far, the worst egg rolls I have ever tasted in my entire life. I mean, come on… you’re a Chinese restaurant located in America. The number one go-to food you should make sure you do right is egg rolls! But these tasted like they were filled with broccoli paste, rather than with chopped cabbage. Almost amazing in their yuckiness. BUT, the one thing saving this review is their Singapore Style Noodles. Quite possibly the best I’ve had in Chicago, since moving here from LA. Super-fresh…hot…spicy…yummy! So, I’m going to give them another try, keeping in mind to never, ever, EVER order the egg rolls again. Ever.

No more! They are about 7 blocks away. Their food is okay at times, but delivery time is always a lie and food is cold when you get it. This isn’t a «one time» bad-apple review. We have ordered 4 times for delivery fairly recently. That’s it. We’re done. A «half hour» is 1.5 hours. Today’s «hour» was 2.5 hours. There are 2 people who seem to work there: one cook who also delivers, and a rude woman who answers the phone and says, «We’re busy, what do you want me to do about it» or that their delivery time is only a «guess.» This city is too big to deal with this crap. Go somewhere else, there are plenty of other places.

The South Loop area has very little options for the Chinese food-wanting students that dwell within it, especially since those students, such as myself, don’t have the luxury of owning a car. So for my lunch today, I decided to reach out and get delivery from Hong Kong Delight 3(where are the other two?). I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken lunch special with a Sprite to drink and added on their $.99 Egg Roll. They didn’t ask me how I was paying and hung up right away, so I had to call back and give them my credit card number; this was all assuming, of course, that they didn’t have a guy running around with a credit card reader on-the-go. So that was a little inconvenient, but not too big a deal. When the delivery arrived my Sprite was not a Sprite at all… it was a Diet Pepsi. Whatever. I paid the man and sent him on his way. Despite those few hiccups, the food was actually decent.

Decent if not bad food, horiible service except one lady, how do you charge a quarter for hot sauce? Really? Like the others said go down a mile to China town and save your money and you will get way better food, 15 mins and waiting!

There’s bad Chinese take out. And then there’s BAD Chinese takeout! This is the latter unfortunatley. A hefty portion to be sure, considering the price on it. But I got 5 huge chunks of sweet and sour chicken that the breading was so soggy it just fell off. The fried rice had too much soy sauce already on it. Um, I can add my own with the bazillion packets you sent, thanks though. The egg roll had a foul odor to it that made you not want to bite into it. But I’m daring so I took the plunge. Yep. Still gross! And then the person who ordered our food noticed we were missing our smoothies. Called about it and was talked down to that we didn’t look hard enough. She pleasantly said back ‘are you sure there isn’t any way you accidentally left it out of the bag?’. The answer was a simple ‘nope’. Well… okay then, bye! It’s sad b/c we’ve been trying to find a Chinese delivery in the South Loop that was affordable and was willing to drive onto Museum Campus to bring it to us. Yang’s went all wrong after a couple of years and now this place has let us down. Back to the drawing board I suppose…
