Terrible terrible terrible service and experience last night. Tattoo behind the bar had the worst attitude ever last night. I was a bartender and immediately learned to put on the smile fake or real it’s part of the job. That’s also why it’s called work. And it helps with your tip. Remember people are always watching. I putting this so the owner will see it especially when the bartender through out the«I am the manager» card out immediately when someone had a complaint.

A rip roaring good time in the heart of Wrigleyville where the crowds are mostly early-mid 20’s and the shots come in little nyquil-esque plastic shooters. Bud light plastic cups is how you’ll get your beer and your makers on the rocks too. Plastic dixie cups, not even the heavy duty red solos. We were probably the oldest people in here(early 30’s) but that’s ok. It was our first and last night out in Wrigleyville for a while to come. To add to our holiday merriment we had: 12 shots of fireball 11 people celebrating 10 golden beers 9 more fireballs 8 cocktails 7 little sumpin sumpin sumpins 6 makers rocks 5 guys a cheering 4 gals a laughing 3 cider beers 2 more shots of jameson and one killer hangover for all the next day… Some of this list is true, some is not, I’ll let you decide but it was a great time seeing the band here over the weekend, no cover is a big bonus too.

No. Not good. Do not eat here. I stopped in with a large party last Saturday because it was empty and we figured we could have a couple drinks and grab a bite. The food was very bad. Our nachos came cold… like not lukewarm, but cold. We complained and then they replaced them with lukewarm nachos. We also got wings, spinach dip, and some other stuff. We didn’t enjoy any of it. The atmosphere was kinda cool. They serve alcohol obviously. Just don’t eat here.

This place is amazing. If you are ever in Wrigleyville and hungry this is a must stop place. They don’t have a huge menu, but their pizza is out of this world. They have a potato pizza, a barbecue and honey mustard pizza, and this awesome shrimp pizza. Im in Franklin Park and will go there just for that The service is really great. Everyone is super friendly. One of the bartenders, shelly, she is really sweet and strikes up a conversation with you. She has never been in a bad mood or gives anyone attitude like many upon many bartenders tend to do! She gave us her opinion on which pizzas to try and she was right on point! They have live music sometimes and karaōke i think on Tuesdays. Its a nice newer modern bar too, gets crowded at times but they have an upstairs they open up when a lot of people come in!

If I could, I would give ZERO stars. Not only am I upset about the massive mouth drying dusting of grainy flour sitting on the bottom of the pizza, I am also upset that when my pizza arrived, the pizza was in disarray! I do not order out often and when I do I expect it to be good. After looking at many restaurants, I chose to order from here. I will not be ordering again and I want a REFUND. The pizza is barely edible with the massive dusting of unappetising flour on the bottom. Once you look at the pictures I upload I think anyone will understand my fury. I stopped eating my first slice to write this review. UPDATE: I called DoorDash, the delivery service, and got a refund; however, I still will not be ordering from the restaurant again! The manager I talked to at the restaurant said what I understood as there nothing was wrong with having the flour on the bottom of the pizza. Yes, I understand sometimes places use flour on the bottom to keep it from sticking, but NEVER that much. Won’t be getting food from here again! I can guarantee it!

Seriously great LIVE music after a Cubs game. The best I’ve seen in a bar outside of New Orleans. Well done. The drinks were good — selection was amazing! The bar staff were fantastic, friendly and attentive. I have to note how honest one was when she realized she accidentally overcharged my friend for a drink long after the fact and insisted he take the money back. She was in the process of accidentally charging me the wrong amount as well and went back and fixed it. Since neither of us would have known that we were overcharged this was an amazing initiative of honesty that didn’t go unnoticed. Can’t wait to come back after another Cubs Game! Go Cubs Go!(Go back to Rome!)

Came here after the Cubs game and what a place indeed! Great selection of beer, fantastic live music, and attentive bartenders. I’d come back again next time I visit Wrigley.

If I could give this place a zero I would Most unfriendly rude staff ever. Sunday football game day and jammin music for the employees and avoiding and running off anyone watching football on a Sunday afternoon How the girl server who was feeding her face and painting her long nasty nails still has a job, amazes me completely

HVAC pub used to be a reggae bar. That’s how old I am. Anyhow, allow me to set the scene for you. 08÷24÷15 Cubs vs Cleveland. Lester vs Kluber. The game was won by a walk off home run by Kris Byrant. Enough said. I never went to the urinal once during the game. I avoided the inches of urine in the bathroom. I only had two beers. My cousin and I went to HVAC pub. Of course the first thing I did was go to the bathroom. I ordered a micro beer when I returned. What a great selection of beers. What’s more impressive is the little red rooster pizza. It’s like having a chicken wing on a pizza. Freaking awesome. I am only deducting a star because our server forgot my beer for about an hour. She ended up giving it to us for free with a few fireball shots which I thought was noble. Definitely coming back for the little red rooster. Ridiculous!

My boyfriend and I arrived a few hours early for the Cubs game. I had picked out a few restaurants to try beforehand. Unfortunately, he thought they were all too far, and we settled on this place. I think he thought it looked cool because it had a rock ‘n’ roll feel to it. The sign outside said HVAC, and we didn’t know what that stood for. I wanted to check in on Unilocal but HVAC wasn’t coming up. The restaurant name was not listed on the menu, so we googled it, and the restaurant wasn’t even on Google Maps. We got the name from our receipt. We were seated inside at first, but a band was playing way too loudly, like ear blisteringly loud. The music was so loud that people inside were covering their ears. I think the people playing were from School of Rock Chicago. So we moved outside in the sun. I don’t know why they don’t have umbrellas on all the tables. The flimsy tree we sat under couldn’t cover both of us and we didn’t want to go back inside because of the excessively loud music, so we suffered under the sun a bit. First world problems, man. We ordered the rock-a-hula pizza. It had pineapple, prosciutto, and arugula. When we got the pizza, my boyfriend joked«I didn’t order a salad on our pizza.» I told him fresh veggies were trending on pizzas right now. It was quite a mix of flavors but the pizza was really good. I would definitely order it again. Service was lacking. Our waitress did not refill my water. Other servers were checking on their tables, but ours was MIA. We thought about going to another place to grab a drink before the game after our meal, but there were people everywhere and restaurants looked crowded as the game inched closer. We would’ve stayed here and ordered drinks but seating sucked and our server did not check in on us.

3.5 stars Went to HVAC with my girlfriend on a Sunday for lunch while the Cubs were busy playing the Sox down at the Cell. I had seen this place pop up on a couple lists for best new pizza places to try so I was intrigued what we would find on the infamous Wriggleyville Clark stretch. Place was absolutely empty at 1 pm… and they apparently opened at 11 am. Really cool looking bar though, with tons of crazy pipes in the ceiling with light bulbs and rock and rolls pictures up everywhere. There’s a stage set up for live bands too. They have a pretty lengthy beer list but I was surprised I couldn’t find any Revolution brews on it. Perhaps I overlooked them. I ended up getting the Graceland pizza(carolina pulled pork, green pepper) while my gf just did a build your own with peppers and onions. The 10 inch pizzas are a nice size for one person as we both ended up taking home 2 slices a piece. The Graceland was pretty good. Off the top of my head I’ve had better pulled pork pizzas at Roots and Big Bricks but this one wasn’t bad. I’d like to come back at night when there’s a live band and get a better feel for the place. It definitely has a different vibe from most of its neighbors on Clark. Worth trying again!

It was before a Cubs game and there was a table available(actually a couple). Should have been a sign. Cheese pizza was ok(says my daughter). My wife had the Garden Salad and it was wilted and not fresh at all. My Red Rooster pizza(buffalo wing pizza) was very poor. Crust was like a frozen pizza. Tomato sauce under the cheese did not go well with the buffalo sauce on the chicken. Chicken was like someone cut up Chicken McNuggets and they were way over done. Food, such as it was, took FOREVER to come. The iced tea was very good and our waiter was not unpleasant.

While I think this is a great additional to Wrigleyville there are a couple of things that are dramatically wrong with this place. 1) Despite their clever name, it had to be almost 90 degree’s inside when I went last week. It was beyond tolerable for a restaurant. I won’t be coming here for the rest of the summer if this is the norm. 2) Despite a cute décor and a great menu, it was as dirty inside as the rest of the Wrigleyville bars. which leads me to number 3 3) It was incredibly over priced for not just Wrigleyville, but for the product they were putting out. Overall, I think they are just ironing out the kinks from being a new place, so maybe I’ll come back in the fall. The food was pretty good and my server was very nice and polite.

Kitchen closed after 10. Cubs win? Go somewhere else. This place is probably only open through the season and after the cubs are finished this place will be as well.

A welcome addition to the Wrigleyville strip… not just another bar with mediocre pub food and your generic beer list. Pretty affordable, decent pizza! You can definitely get much better pizza in the city but it’s fresh and tasty. The brand new space has a cool rock vibe and plenty of tables to seat the pregame crowds. Long beer list of drafts, cans and tallboys. Pizza took a while and server wasn’t great because she was busy, but you have to expect that before a game. I’ll likely be back before more games this summer.

I was really confused about what this was when it first opened up. Was it a heating and air conditioning place? What’s with the motorcycle and helmet mustache logo? Is this another crappy chain planting roots on Clark amongst the other fratty bars on Clark and Addison? After reading about their unique and interesting pizza, I decided to elbow my way through past the frat bros at sluggers and goose island and venture in on a Sunday night for dinner when the crowds would be smaller. Walking in, the bar definitely has a cool layout. Rockstar photos, beer cans lining the walls behind the bar from floor to ceiling. A stage for live bands on the first floor, and wooden tables. Our waitress came over immediately and was very friendly. We ordered the bacon wrapped dates. I’ve had bacon wrapped dates at multiple restaurants, and these were by far the best I’ve ever had. I don’t know why I ordered them, it seemed risky given that we were in Wrigleyville and it’s a fairly new place. But they were amazing. The dates were perfectly cooked and stuffed with goat cheese, the bacon was crispy, and they were drizzled with a hot and creamy red pepper sauce on top. Beer prices are reasonable depending on what you order, they have your standard 9 $ Wrigleyville craft beers, but also 3 – 4 $ tallboys which is refreshing. We ordered the pepperoni pizza. I was disappointed because I wanted to order one of their specialty pizzas, but my boyfriend is a picky eater. It was still amazing though, with a great sauce and huge thinly sliced and crispy pepperoni slices. They definitely don’t skimp on their toppings. I will probably avoid this place on game days obviously, but will definitely be back to try one of their specialty pizzas on a weeknight. I think it’s funny that this bar is ultra hipster and smack dab in the middle of bro central. Way to go HVAC.

Went to HVAC for the first time yesterday before the Cubs game and I was amazed(shouldn’t of been because Adolfo always amazes). Had the seafood cob salad which was huge and one of the best I have ever had. The pizza is also great. So many different beers I wanted to try all 80 Such a cool spot that has a great vibe, great service and great food. We sat at the bar and the bartender was so much fun, engaging, knowledgeable and a great ambassador. I can’t wait to go back for the live music and to also sit outside on their huge patio.

Pretty underwhelming experience. First, the $ 8 pizza slice, shot and beer special is invalid on game days– there should at least be a note of that on the menu and website, where the special is featured front and center. Also, thats EIGHTYONE days this summer that the special is invalid. Beer selection was fine, pizza was good. Waitress wasn’t even trying, and I learned why at the end of the night– 18% gratuity added(and not any mention of it from the waitress). Place is big, and a bit nicer(or maybe just newer) than some of the other places around, but don’t expect any effort from management or staff here.

Checked out this great new spot during their soft open last week, and again on Opening Day. Formerly the old Wild Hare and Flaco’s Tacos, this place now serves up pizza, live music, and over 80 beers. The renovation is amazing, featuring an upstairs bar/seating with great views of Wrigley, an outdoor patio, and plenty of flatscreens. We had great service on a very busy Opening Day, and I can tell the owners know how to run this place. One way I could tell was that I ordered a beer off their menu that they had just run out of, which was perfectly understandable, and they comped a beer of my choosing to make up for it. Unnecessary, but much appreciated. Personally, I find myself at more of the«Bud Light», dirtier, bars of Wrigley, but this place gives me a great alternative place to start my nights in the neighborhood. Sure beats the hell out of Barleycorn. **Final note: They offer a PB&J for $ 8,(P)izza slice, PBR Tallboy(B)eer, and(J)amo shot… can’t beat it on a gameday pub crawl

Heating and Cooling has just opened in time for the 2015 Baseball season. I went to this location on Opening Day, and had an absolute blast. The Music is rocking, and the space is very trendy and clean. The pizza wasn’t Big G’s or anything, but they do sell it by the slice, and when your in need of a quick fix, it’s the way to go. They have projectors for the games, as well as TVs behind the bar, but the night we were there they played music, not game audio. In my opinion it was nice being able to see the game, but listen to music and mingle with your friends. The music was at a powerful level, but not overwhelming, which was awesome if you wanted to still have a conversation with those around you. I will be making many future visits to this new place and hope they continue to remain cool in the coming months.
