They came to my building’s fooda and ran out of some stuff (specifically what I wanted) within an hour thanks to the cold weather. Then they ran out of the other thing I wanted to buy. However he felt really bad about it and reduced my meal down to the vegetarian prices. Good customer service even if they ran out of the food.

Went in to grab a quick sandwich. One employee stated that there wasn’t enough meat to make a sandwich. The other employee making the sandwiches (and not wearing gloves btw) stated he could stretch the meat for a sandwich. I already wasn’t excited about a $ 10 sandwich with scarce meat. One guy said it would be addt. for a bag of chips. I jokingly stated to one guy geez $ 10 for a scarce sandwich and addt. for chips. The sandwich maker whom I was not even speaking too said very dryly, «It’s for sale, you can buy it or not». I said «excuse me?» He repeated, «It’s for sale you can buy it or not. It’s $ 10, nobody’s forcing you to buy the sandwich.» I replied, «I don’t need to buy your sandwich, your right, thanks.» They might want to work on their customer service, and wear gloves while touching deli meat, cheese, and toppings.

This food truck would regularly come to my old work to showcase their unique sandwiches. Never disappointed. Both the Philly cheesesteak and chicken pesto sandwiches were among the best I’ve ever had. These are the sandwich Gods. Delicious.

Soo good!!! Absolutely delicious! I had the mushroom and Swiss one, so satisfied. Give it a try you won’t regret.

This vendor came to my work as part of our weekly Fooda program. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was so delicious. The buffalo sauce was the ideal level of spicy. Highly recommend!

Haute and Ready is a small little truck that doesn’t get enough attention. I had an amazing sandwich and I am still thinking about it a few months later! I got the Swiss and Mushroom: rib eye steak with Swiss cheese and provolone, sautéed mushrooms and onions all topped with garlic truffle aioli, Roma tomatoes and arugula. I got it on pita (they have a few options) and the potions were very generous — sandwich was stuffed with a balance of all the ingredients (not overpowered by just one) and the aioli definitely made it better!
I haven’t had another sandwich from H&R but I honestly don’t even need to try another one. Highly recommended for a good toasted sandwich for lunch. Good and friendly service was the cherry on top.

Decent sandwiches, can order with chips, potato salad, or another side that escapes me for the moment.
I had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich with giardiniera. Taste was good, giardiniera was generously applied but wish there was a bit more of the beef. Cheese sauce was there but barely. A good cheese steak (especially one in Philly) is in abundance of the cheese and beef, which it isn’t for this sandwich. But its better than Gino’s, though Gino’s wasn’t too bad, except the beef doesn’t quite taste like beef, it tastes odd instead.
Guys at the truck were cool, got the sandwiches made fairly quickly, usually within 5 – 10 minutes. Better than the 20+ deep queue at nearby Snarf’s or Goddess. I wanna sandwich, not a wait that rivals Great America!
Drinks are available, and other sandwiches as well, but had only the cheese steak here only.
Will try others the next time they are here. To be continued…

I had a solid gyros sandwich here, though the ratio of meat to vegetables was higher than my taste inclines, and the gyros meat doesn’t have any of the delicious browning you’d get at one of the many better gyros joints in Chicago. Still, far better than some of the local competitors like La Boulangerie — I would try it again.

Had these guys at the office today at Fooda and the sandwich was legit! Super friendly staff who will customize your sandwich without complaint. I got the sun dried tomato and goat cheese chicken sandwich on french baguette. The bread was warm and crusty, the chicken was soft, and the spreads and toppings were fresh and delish! Only feedback will be to increase the amount of chicken in the sandwich since it is $ 8.25 after tax.

I was very fortunate to stop at this truck in my recent trip to Chicago. The food was so good! The gentlemen who assisted us was incredibly friendly and happy to answer all questions we had about their options. Amazing flatbread sandwiches. Would highly recommend!

Love this truck’s sandwiches. I get the mushroom and swiss flatbread sandwich and it’s tasty, hot, made to order and a nice size. Good filling to bread ratio. We always go when we see it on the Food Truck Finder.

Haute & Ready came to our office for a private event today. The staff was super and the food was great! They served up 3 different types of flatbreads, one being their california club which was awesome! Check these guys out if you can!

Got their philly cheesesteak sandwich for lunch. The sandwich was served on pita bread and had American cheese product on it. It tasted like it’s full of sodium (food coma & bloat alert!), and the small size of the sandwich may have been a blessing in disguise, even though it was $ 8. If it weren’t for the über nice dudes in the truck I would have given this food truck two stars based on the food.
