Late night order via GrubHub. Called to comfirm the delivery time and the person on the phone was honest, helpful and polite. Order did arrive as he estimated and the food was good. I highly recommend this place.

Pretty standard-issue burger. Would have been a lot better with seasoning, but there was none. The cooks are apparently unfamiliar with the salt & pepper shakers. And there were none on the tables. Ordered medium-rare, got medium. Fries were good. Not worth a return visit.

So very good every time I go. Great Polish Sausage! Great veggie veggie grinder! Great char dog! And most recent– great Cajun chicken sandwich; so messy and so delicious.

once again i got a wrong order. ordered 3 Goose Island 312 and received Goose island IPA in a can. i called grubhub, and was told that GrillInn does not issue refunds(even when it is their mistake), and was told that if i bring it in there, they will switch it out. seriously?! why do you think i ordered for delivery? i could also wait 1.5 hours for them to come back and switch it. no thanks. call me crazy, but i believe that if its not my fault, and you have my money, then i get top priority for re-delivery. I’ve gotten a wrong order 50% of the time and I’ve threatened that i wont be back, and this time, really really i’m done. if the order wasn’t typed out clearly for the restaurant via Grubhub, I wouldn’t be so annoyed. how hard is it to read words on your screen? now, since they dont double check orders, they’ve lost a customer for good.

I ordered delivery from Grill Inn for the first time and was super happy with what I got – a delicious hamburger that was perfectly cooked, still hot fries, and a green salad that was GREEN, fresh and crispy. Thanks Grill Inn. I’ll be back and I’ll bring my friends.

Love their veggie burger, I mean I really love it. Great onion rings. Great fresh cut fries too! I’m going to try a Saarland one day but it’s hard to get past the great veggie burger.

The food quality was fine… but their AC wasn’t working so it was impossible to eat in the place… I’m amazed that the guys were able to working in there. It must have been 110+ degrees in there.

Fine, you wanna screw up a veggie burger. Ok. BUT, how the hell can you F up a grilled cheese? This place used to be GREAT when it first opened. Now, it really seems like the folks working there don’t care about what they are cooking. :(

Wow. I’m so angry… …that we’ve lived in Rogers Park this long and didn’t try this place sooner! Great burgers. Crispy, juicy chicken tenders. Spicy Cajun fries to die for(we will definitely be trying all the fries on the menu!). Got our delivery in about 20 minutes!

Currently eating at Grill Inn. I am glad to see that they have a few vegetarian options. I got the Veggie Veggie grinder and a side of Buffalo fries, and it is gosh darn delicious. The gentleman who helped me was a man with a hearing aid, not sure of his name, but he was super friendly and super helpful. All in all I am very happy eating my food right now and I will definitely be coming out here again to see the awesome guy who helped me and eat some more.

Flavor of the Patty is delicious and it is not covered by toppings that overpower the flavor

I tried the True Bleu! Burger with Cajun fries and it was absolutely amazing. I liked that they did not drown the entire thing in buffalo sauce, but it had the perfect amount. It was really hot in the restaurant and there was a very annoying person who kept trying to talk to me even though I was clearly not giving off any«talk to me» vibes. I had gone to enjoy lunch and read my book, but in the end I decided to take my food to go because I realized that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my food there. The cashier was really friendly and apologized for the behavior of the other customer. When I got home, the food was hot and was happy with a more than generous amount of the Cajun fries. I am definitely going back!

I’ve had mixed feelings with this place. Their fries are great but if you had flavor they charge you like a bitch! EAnd its just seasoning we have in our cabinet. Well I do. Their burgers are really good and well cooked. It taste fresh and when I ask for medium-well I get medium-well, sometimes its so hard to get that right. So, I started getting their char chicken sandwich which is really good. Now this time I got onion rings and I didn’t like seeing a bag of frozen ass onion rings. I’m not tryna jerk but damn you’re charging me almost $ 5 for frozen bagged onions rings? Also I do feel that this place is wayyyyy over priced. As I am eating g these onion rings I don’t know what to think. Some of the rings meh and some are idk. But I don’t think a chicken sandwich and onion rings should not cost almost $ 14.

To enjoy the Grill Inn, it’s good to know what to order. I was told, their gyros and Italian beef were top notch. I can’t agree. Imagine ordering an Italian beef or gyros sandwich while staying at the hospital and restricted to a low fat diet. Maybe it was the bread of the Italian beef sandwich, it didn’t work(even with extra dip!). And the gyros was so standard. I thought of it as a waste of calories. Again, wise to know what to get. Like, their burgers or a chicken plate. The good, is that their employees try their best to impress. I’m speaking of «dine-in» service. The place is kept very clean. And likewise, so will you find their food presentations and offerings. Never a busied place.

One of, if not the best spots for burgers and sandwiches in all of Rogers Park! Grill Inn has been by go-to option for a quick&easy dinner or late night munchies. The burgers are delicious and they put one of their specialty burgers with fires and a drink as a special every month. I would also recommend the grinders, which is like a sandwich on toasted garlic bread essentially. Really good! Fries are super tasty as well. The restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. As long as they’re not too backed up your food comes out pretty quickly too. Grill Inn is definitely one of the few bright stars around the Morse red line stop!

So nobody knows that this place actually serves up breakfast sandwiches. And they’re really good, cause the grill guy fries up fresh eggs, mushrooms, bacon and grills it onto bread. They have like 8 options. I just wish it was available more than 11a to noon– a one hour menu! I barely noticed this place right off the Morse Red Line stop for a while, but I think it’s great. One of the cleanest Chicago fast-food /burger joints you’ll see. Indoors has only 5 tables. Not bad for a quick lunch by yourself. Not sure I’d come here and hang out with friends: too small. Maybe one of the 3 outdoor tables when it’s warm. But it’s solid for to-go.

Great burgers, great fries, great beer – and a selection of cream sodas! They have a plate/beer special every day. The staff is always friendly, quick, and attentive. I have not had too many things, but the gyro burgers and chili cheese fries are my favorites so far. Cooked well, plenty of moisture. You can customize the fries with seasonings and toppings. The portion sizes are perfect. They have plenty of craft beer bottles at reasonable prices. Beware eating here on a hot day, though. It’s like you’re sitting in the grill. Thus the name. I believe they’re on Grub Hub. Definitely a small gem in town.

Portillo’s, Five Guys, you don’t stand a chance! These burgers are made of MEAT! Fresh meat, and mighty tasty meat it is, too. We’ve noticed Portillo’s meat is grainy and dry, and five guys’ meat sits like a lead ball in our bellies. Not so with Grill Inn burgers, no, Siree! We ordered online during a night of crisis, and after the food arrived(we were surprised at the delivery speed), we found the quality of the food quite high. Tasty burgers cooked just right(I highly recommend the Morse Burger for MEATLOVERS– it’s HUGE!). Their Cajun Fries were SPICY and actually made from fresh cut, REALPOTATOES(Oh MY!). Their ON-YON rings are the best I’ve had yet, even after being ignored due to a crisis, the rings(then cold) were still crispy and delicious! We had an Oreo pie slice that was a super finish to as close to fine dining as one ca likely get with burgers and fries. We are ordering again tonight before returning to our own cooking(updates later), but in future, Grill Inn has the burgers and sides we prefer over all others. Update: Philly Steak tonight(Yeah, real steak), cheddar fries and salad. Whoo hoo!
