Couldn’t give no stars but that is what is warranted. I just left Giordanos. I had my 2 granddaughters with me. We sat ourselves. There was one large table the waitress, Kathy, took their drink order and then after giving them their drinks took their appetizer order. At no time did she acknowledge our presence. Never brought us menus, said I’ll be with you in a minute, bring us water. NOTHING! After waiting 15 minutes we got up and left. My grandchildren have never had your pizza and had chosen Giodano’s but even they said, «Why don’t we leave?» I’m sure you lose a lot of business with service like this.

We ordered a deep dish for delivery Saturday. It arrived hot (I only live a few blocks but was too lazy to walk). The pizza was very good (a surprise given the other reviews-​maybe they needed a couple of months to get their act together). I didn’t give it 5 stars because it wasn’t the best I tasted (that would be Art of Pizza but they don’t deliver way out here). It was solidly good although if you’re not into spices you might not like their sauce which was heavy on basil and oregano… I think.

Granddaughter in Texas asked for a Giordano’s spinach pizza. We were leaving the next day for Texas. Called this Giordano’s for 2 frozen spinach pizzas. They said fine come in a half hour.
Got there and was told they had no spinach pizzas until the next day. when I asked why they lied about it the guy said he took the call and just did not know.
Stopped at Lou Malnati’s and got the frozen pizzas with no trouble and no lies.

Nothing better than Sunday football and pizza. Pizzas showed up for our game day party on time at noon. Really good pies. Glad we have Giordano’s in the neighborhood. We will definitely order again.

AMAZING! We had a great experience and will definitely order delivery again. We ordered for my office. The delivery guy came right on time. The pizzas and salads were so good — especially the artichoke and feta EXTRA THIN!

Certainly glad I went back. So, the first pizza I got there wasn’t great… hey, were humans and we all have bad days. Thanks to the management for reaching right out to me and making it right. I got a Large Stuffed Crust with Spinach, Sausage, Mushrooms, and Black Olives… LOVED IT! Tasted like the Giordano’s I grew up with. You could taste all of the ingredients, the place is spot-​less and the staff is super friendly. Certainly the Go-​To Place for Pizza in Edison Park!

So I was a little hesitant in ordering from this location because of other reviews but ordered anyway… Was very disappointed, we’ve been ordering Giordano’s deep dish since I was a kid and have never gotten a pie like the one we received. Half of the dough was not fully cooked… to the point that it was slimy and the box was partially soaked on delivery. John, at the location was very nice when I called and got a second pizza out fairly quick but it was still not the same, had to put it in the oven for a few minutes and it just did not taste the same as what I’ve been used to, possibly crust consistency and seasoning issues. In any case, I think there are some oven issues that need to be addressed. Wish it was a better experience, looks like I’ll be driving to pick up at Rosemont…

We tried the new Edison Park Giordanos and it was horrible all the way around. We ordered on a early Wednesday night (thin pizza), took way over an hour to get it delivered, it was cold, not fully cooked and the crust was very hard. We will wait a year to see if they get their act together… or not at all.

This is an update to my previous review about the new Giordanos in Edison Park. The owners read my review and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. The business is new, so I would like to retract my negative review and give the business another chance and will order again. Everyone has a bad day and since they are new, they are most likely working thru the rough spots. The management was exceptional in the way they dealt with a negative review and I have all the confidence that they will deliver outstanding food and service going forward.
