I love a place with a good story and this places has tales to be told. Allow me to to spin you a yarn: I had the day off and walked in because I had never noticed this place before. I was greeted by a slightly frazzled women. She introduced herself to me as the lazy retailer. And through what turned into a 20 min convo I found out why. She basically has every college students dream. Though she works daily in the upstairs design firm, she closes the store to go to the beach, when the snow is too heavy or target is having a sale. Because I am lazy SOB i appreciate this haphazard schedule, but it would make shopping there in the summer difficult. In regards to the merchandise it is basically an estate sale. Legend has it her grandmother born 120 years ago collected these items and when the owner’s grandmother and close friends died she because the master of 1,500 sq. ft of boxes of clothes, dishes, shoes, and jewelery. These are the items which stock the small store front. So the first reviewer is right it is your grandmother’s clothes, but there is a certain charm in things that are truly vintage. The clothes weren’t my speed or my size, but I feel in love with nearly every piece of jewelry laid out. You have to ask what the prices are, which can be annoying. But it is a good opportunity to haggle and bargain which are my favorite. Be warned they are not accepting credit at the moment, but plan on doing that fancy iphone app swipe thing soon. Go if you’re around the area but call ahead! Happy thrifting!

Whatever you do, do not think of going to this place! It smells musty and the clothes smell just as bad, like smoke. They all seem to be have dug out of basement of your grandmother who had poor taste in clothes and shoes.
