I come here when the struggle can be real no longer. I need carbs, chocolate, and high fat content, stat. Which begs the question: How can you call them empty calories when they are in fact everything that calories should be? I also want to know why the world can feel like it is split into two categories when it comes to on-the-go coffee drinkers. It’s Starbucks vs. Dunkin’ Donuts out there, and I can feel it growing more vicious by the minute. Personally, I just find it hard to say no to the doughnuts. I like the coffee here just the same. My only thing with any DD location is how hot they serve their coffee. I usually eat my doughnuts in the privacy of my apartment, so I use the rest of the space in my coffee cup and fill it with cold milk from my fridge. Otherwise I feel like it will take 45 minutes to cool down. I like to drink coffee with my carbs! What’s important is that the world would not be the same without Dunkin’ Donuts. Drink on, my coffee drinkers! Indulge, my secret society of fitness freaks for carb binging!

This location is horrible. The service is horrible, they always over charge when they can and act as if your off when you call them on it and the topper was when they charged me $ 1.20 for cream cheese on a $ 1.29 bagel! If you order a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant watch for the hash brown up charge they include without asking you if you want it(4 pieces) for buck extra. They stopped honoring the $ 1.00 refills if you purchase the DD coffee cup. That was the reason for purchasing the thremo-mug that doesn’t keep its contents warm for very long, for $ 9.99. It was part of the deal! Lol After dealing with this for a while I have decided to write about it here and move to another location!

No drive-through so I went into the store to get my wakeup coffee. The staff who took my order was fast and friendly while there was another girl making my coffee. Good and fast service.

As far as neighborhood Dunkin Donuts go this place is at the bottom of the ladder. Out of the yogurt that’s necessary to make smoothies. Out of long straws for my large iced coffee. Out of half the flavor a of donuts(understandable at this point of the day) I feel bad for the employees who had to tell every customer who ordered something that what they wanted wasn’t available. Guess they just expect people to order coffee.

This place is disgusting. Normally I wouldn’t bother to write a review about a DD but this place was so bad I had to. I stopped on my way home because I had a taste for a sunday. I ordered a hot fudge Sunday. The guy serving me didn’t say they were out of hot fudge. Instead he just covered it in whipped cream and it wasn’t until I took a bit that I realized there was no hot fudge. The other issue is that the place is absolutely filthy. I was going to sit down but every table was either covered in crumbs or dried coffee rings. There was also crumbs all over the floor. In the meantime, the three employees, one of whom turned out to be the owner, sat down in the corner and proceeded to have a very loud conversation about scheduling and setting hours. How about cleaning the place up? I will not come in here again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, even just for coffee.

I like this location okay. It gets kind of busy in the mornings but they seem to be able to take the order, give the customers their coffee and get them out the door pretty quickly. I’ve never been in their line long enough to start looking at my watch, irritated and worried I’ll be late for work, so that is a plus. Also, they make my lattes just the way I like them, strong and not too milky. This Dunkin’ Donuts is also conveniently located 1 block from my job, making it very easy to stop for my hot cup of joe every morning. The one awkward thing about this location is the parking lot. It is angled very strangely and pretty difficult to get in and out of. Otherwise perfectly good service and a clean Dunkin’ Donuts.

The owner was real nice but I think he needs to keep an eye on that Hispanic woman working for him. I was behind her two sons and she was scooping a milkshake for them and she put in an excessive amt of ice cream. The one son asked for extra extra bacon on his sandwich. I hope the owner figures out she’s ripping him off so he doesn’t have to raise his prices.

Terrible, ordered hot chocolate and it was disgusting. I noticed the worker making hot chocolate with hot water and powder like you would do at home, I asked her what’s up with the machine and she stated that it was out of order but it would taste the same. When I got to work and tasted it it was terrible. I ordered 3, what a waste of $ 8. Never again will I go here.

I ordered an Iced Latte and the guy gave me iced coffee. I told him I ordered an Iced Latte and he took my iced coffee and put whipped cream on it and gave it back to me. On a different day, I ordered a coffee coolata and they gave me vanilla bean. I told the guy and he added something in it that made it darker but tasted nothing like a coffee coolata.

Slow staff, whom always ask for your order, and then later ask you to repeat it another one to two times. Pay attention, son!!! Convenient in that it’s on the way to school. No drive thru, and the staff annoys me. Tiny parking lot. Only when I’m desperate for Joe will I stop.

The neighborhood Dunkin Donuts is always a good thing. Dunkin Donuts has these specials especially breakfast items. The hash browns are tasty. I wish this Dunkin Donuts has a variety of donuts like the other locations. I am happy with the speedy service, as is other Unilocalers I see.

The staff is lighting fast with my order every time I go there. They are quick and efficient. The only down fall is they are constantly up selling. If you ask for a coffee and donut, they come back with okay large coffee? And you want two donuts?

I particularly like this D&D because it’s one of the honest ones that doesn’t water down the coffee. My test to coffee honesty is the whether or not you can see the bottom of the coffee cup. If you see the bottom, you have weak coffee. The staff got my order correct. They have 2 lines. An order line and a pick-up line. I wish other D&Ds would catch on to this user friendly method of food distribution.

The only reason this Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin — Robbins is always busy is the location. Tons of city/construction workers since it’s right on the corner of Elston and Cicero. Honestly I only go when my Mom is visiting from Iowa because she’s so excited there’s a Baskin Robbins close to my house! The popularity is definitely not due to the friendliness of the employees. I have seen them ignore customers who were being nothing but polite and patient. The workers definitely gave me the feeling that they were doing me a favor. Adding to the problem is the parking lot. The corner parking lot is horrible, hard to park/back out and full of potholes. 2 stars for location, recent remodeling and cleanliness.
