The place is so incredibly slow it’s so frustrating. Honestly I feel like they are just understaffed and their execution is terrible. Sounds dumb but to order ice cream, you go over to try your flavor, go to the other side of the store at the donut area to order/pay, then back of to the other side where the ice cream is(and you started) and tell another person what you just ordered /payed for. What could take 10 seconds took 15 min so incredibly frustrating and not worth the wait.

I have been going into this Dunkin Donuts for about 8 months and I have to say this is a super Dunkin Donuts. I come into the place and the staff is really terrific. Coffee is always fresh as are the Donuts. I have had their breakfast wraps too and they are also fresh. The staff keeps this place really clean. I am always seeing someone washing the windows, sweeping the floor, keeping the condiments full and cleaning other areas of the store. This is one of the best run Dunkin Donuts I have been to. A shout out to this Dunkin Donuts!

I worked across the street from this Dunkin’ Donuts and looked forward to getting my coffee here every morning. The service was impeccable and the staff made my morning every time I went. Thank you! In addition, I am extremely offended by some of the other reviews posted. They are racist and extremely inappropriate. Unilocal needs to take these down immediately.

This Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins is in the heart of tourist central, and THIS mediocre store is the best Dunkin Donuts can do? The employees were friendly and the prices weren’t bad for treats, but trying to enjoy some ice cream was difficult in here due to the sheer number of customers cramming into the available seats. There was a homeless guy sitting at a table in the window and maintenance repairs eliminated a sorely needed side table and four chairs. Every table was occupied. There wasn’t anything horribly bad about this location, and I don’t intend any disrespect to the folks who own and work here. Having written that… Tourists, you have these back home. Try something different. Go next door to the pastry shop and give the local folks some business.

This Dunkin is big, bad, and open 24 hours. I came here to redeem an expiring free drink coupon. Service was sub par– the sole employee in the store was very very difficult to understand, and didn’t seem to know how the voucher worked. There were literally no donuts left in the store, which is crazy when you have«Donuts» in your name.

Ugh. I’ve been waiting here for 10 minutes for my breakfast sandwich. Top that off with annoying adolescent tourists. I. CANT. EVEN.

After years of walking by the«homeless DD»(since it is open most of the time and a good gathering place for the down and out in the wee hours) I stopped by since I was craving a coffee. Being a cappuccino fan I tried a little experiment by getting the Dunkaccino. Big mistake: I was handed a concoction that tasted like sipping boiled melted marshmallows with extra helpings of sugar. So unpalatable I had to throw it away. The ice cream half of the store looks decent and might be good for the summer. Not too impressed with the unenthusiastic tubercular seeming employee who was hacking up a lung before and after my order. Pretty clean and bright with nice windows in the daytime, but the quality of the product reminds me why I don’t do DD.

Absolutely shit management at this location. Doesn’t care about the customer or employees. The management has no class, and are extremely cheap. Do yourself a favor and get your Coffee or doughnuts from somewhere else.

By pretty much any measure this is by far THE worst Dunkin Donuts around! Their donuts/muffins/sandwiches are old, stale, dry, and/or hard. Some of the staff are friendly others are total jerks. I guess the only appeal about this location is 1) the baskin robbins ice cream. It’s hard to mess that up. 2) It’s 24 hour location everyday. But I would much rather visit the DD a block south on the corner of Wabash/Madison. They also have ice cream as well. Also, and I don’t ding them for this but there is always a decent amount of homeless people hanging around. I’m not even saying you should avoid this location for that reason, but just be ready for some odd smells and awkward stares.

This location also features a Baskin Robbins and that is what prompted me to write this review. The gentleman working spoke very little English and did not have any customer service skills, not that my expectations were all that high given this is only Baskin Robbins/Dunkin Donuts. Afterwards, I’d rather have grabbed a pint of ice cream from the Walgreens or paid a little more for the upscale treats at Toni’s Patisserie(both businesses neighbor DD/BR).

Best coffee ever. It’s gotta be the sweetner and the creamer or something, because it’s freakin delicious. We had Dunkin Donuts coffee every day we were in Chicago, both hot and iced. Their donuts were only good in the mornings, we had it once in the afternoon and the staleness was pretty bad. Also, do not try their breakfast… ick. Iono why but for some reason they keep the heat blasting at this particular location. It’s nice at first when you come in from the wind and cold, but after a few seconds, you’re sweating up a storm. It’s like a sauna!!!

As an Californian, I remember the first Dunkin Donut that I had. It was heavenly — super fresh, perfectly flavored, crunch on the outside, tender on the inside — everything a donut should be. Now, it’s just a donut. A mass-produced sans-flavor donut. We had a coffee, the apple fritter and the powdered sugar cake donut. They are not what they used to be. The powdered sugar cake donut was meh. It was what it sounds like, but it did not taste über-fresh as I fondly remembered. The apple fritter was gross. A processed yeast donut wrapped around McDonald’s apple pie filling. The coffee is tasty, but its $ 2 and you can get it for $ 1 at McDonald’s. If it were not for the nice staff, I would give this place 1 star. This store has very nice employees!

no restrooms. Was told to go across the street to the cultural center?! no WiFi. Yes they have a WiFi network BUT it was NOT connected to the WWW!!! BTW, you can get WiFi access, to the WWW, in the cultural center, at which point, why go to DD!!!

Going to school downtown I stop in often to grab a quick bagel or donut. Usually a small iced-coffee. It seems to me that most people don’t like change, even just a few cents. Well I do. It’s my money that I worked to get, and this Dunkin Donuts seems to never ever give me all of my change, yeah a penny here and a penny there, but those pennies add up! I’m going to keep a sharp eye out next time!

I’m on a mission to review as many DD as possible, and I’m not sure how many I have … but I’m on a roll. I hit this DD this morning because my home-brewing of the Hazelnut wasn’t going so well(I wanted to buy regular, but the store only had Hazelnut, yargh!). I have to say that this is probably the cleanest, most fresh DD I’ve been to in the city. It also smelled absolutely scrumptious, though I wasn’t going for a donut, it smelled of cinnamon and spice, which was cozy. The service wasn’t particularly fast — definitely not as fast as the Chicago Avenue location off State. Then again, their efficiency is almost robotic. But the coffee was good, the service was okay, and the space was hella clean, so I’ll throw up four stars.

Some DD’s are super fast(Madison & Wabash). You have to have your money ready asap or else you’ll shouted at. This one… not so much. I went in for Free Coffee Monday thinking I’d be in and out. 4 people were working when I walked in. But only 1 was really helping customers. The dark roast coffee was tasty(and free). You can always expect the taste to be consistent with DD. Maybe it was an off day… but I missed the on-top-of-you chaos that I’ve grown to expect from DD.

Im writting this review for the store on Washington and Michigan(i think this is the right address). I go to work relatively early in the morning around 6:15 and have to make a stop at this place. Its not the cleanest or the best coffee place in the world, but it gets the job done. The coffee is middle of the road and nothing to write home about, but its 99cents for a small coffee which is not bad at all. The best thing about this shop is the service… Its awesome, and they remember what the regulars like(even though there is a mad rush in the morinigs). I don’t eat donuts or anything else, just a tall ice coffee(Its too hot to drink reguler coffee) so I cant really comment about how fresh the donuts are. However, the ice coffee is great and just what I need for my caffeine hit in the morning. The two things I like best is that its open 24 hours and the service is awesome. Fyi, Monday is free donut day, the limit is one per person and no purchase is necessary.(Sorry for sounding like an advertisement :) *** UPDATE, the 99cents coffee deal is over, its back to $ 1.99, I dont know how I feel about this!

I feel sorry for the employees in this store. They are often subjected to working without heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. They show up for work in the cold and heat and do the job. They are always cheerful and remember my order. The owners need to improve the working conditions for their devoted workers. The employees get 5 stars and the owners get 0 stars.
