Dj Limbs

Victor (DJ Limbs) deejayed our May 2012 wedding through Cage & Aquarium Productions, and we were extremely happy with the job they did. Victor and Shelley from C&A were such a pleasure to work with — very responsive to emails and always flexible and accommodating. We’ve heard from many friends that they’ve had DJs who knew music well but just weren’t very good with the business/​service end that you need in wedding planning. Victor and C&A gave us the absolute best of both worlds, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went.
Victor is incredibly talented and such a pro, and the soundtrack to our wedding was exactly what we wanted, from cocktail hour to the last song. He did a fantastic job with introductions and announcements as well. His encyclopedic knowledge of music and impressive ability to read the crowd led to an awesome mix that the crowd loved. Victor managed to work in all of our «must play» songs and play nothing we didn’t really like. C&A also went above and beyond in helping add a surprise slideshow for the bride into the evening. Victor and his assistant DJ took care of testing the video beforehand and transitioned to it seamlessly.
All in all, our dance floor was full of energy, and guests were absolutely worn out at the end of the night because they danced so much. C&A gave us everything we could have asked for and more, and we highly, highly recommend Victor and Cage & Aquarium!

Limbs Dj’d my wedding August 19^th 2011. I have absolutely no complaints whats soever. Very professional and the music played was great. I had a lot of compliments. I’m a huge hip hop fan and of course you can’t play Nas and Biggie all night at your wedding but, we sure put our hip hop imprint on wedding reception history that night. He cater to young and old and most importantly the bride and groom. I plan on referring all my engaged family and friends to hire Cage and Aquarium and Victor. I would like to acknowlegde Mike who was the emcee of the night. These two work well together and great music taste. Everything was well organized two thumbs up!

I booked DJ Limbs (aka Victor Carreon) for our wedding on Sept. 3^rd. Check out his site for samples of his music and style and some of his original mixes which he played during cocktail hour and dinner. I found Victor through Cage and Aquarium’s website, but you can also book him independently.
He played a lot of rat pack, jazz, golden era/​chilled out hiphop and rnb during the cocktail hour. We just told him that we were fans of 90’s rap, and he definitely played plenty of that and all of our guest’s requests and most importantly, he didn’t use the played out wedding songs you hear at every wedding.
My wife and I got a lot of compliments about Victor’s playlist and I would definitely recommend booking him for weddings and other events — you’ll get a mix of hiphop, soul, house, electro, reggae, rock, punk, and top 40.
Lastly, he was a professional — answered emails and phone calls right away and was real attentive to the type of style we wanted for our wedding. We had a lot of songs lined up for our entourage introductions and he made sure he had them down.
