I live down the street from here and I order here probably once a month. It’s a great neighborhood spot, it’s full of really cool knick knacks and memorabilia and the staff is always super nice. I always get the green tea latte smoothie with boba(super good), and usually order the basil leaves with beef. It is on the extra spicy side so I side with medium not hot. My boyfriend usually opts for the rama chicken. I’m not a fan of the«crispy» noodles though, but I won’t deduct a star for that… a lot of people like them, they’re just not for me though.

Loved this place. A true unique Cicago Classic on my list of 1000 place to see/eat before you die. Eat here ASAP.

Loved the Green Tea Smoothie! Food was great. They staff was suer friendly and willing to make suggestions. Loved the kitschy atmosphere. I’m not bothered by the«cash only» thing, especially since their prices are very reasonable. I’m sure it helps cut costs for them, and in turn, they obviously keep their prices low. Worth the trip.

Food is decent. This is the only joint in town that charges you extra for tofu if you are a vegetarian. Lived in Chicago all my life. Never came across this before. Not cool. This has to be the only restaurant in Chicago that is cash only too! I don’t understand why they can’t get a credit card machine

Some people search their whole lives to answer, «What would be your last meal on earth?» I have the answer, and it’s the Noodles Panang from Cozy Noodle. The crispy noodles take you through a journey from perfectly crispy to melt-in-your-mouth. I’ve never had another Thai dish like it, and probably never will. Every time I come back to visit Chicago, I can be found at Cozy Noodle at least twice. P. S. Cash only &BYOB: D

I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered some noodles and it was so bland. They were nice enough to replace it with something else, so I got some curry. It was not much better than the noodles. I ordered some egg rolls, they were small for the price and taste was just okay!

The crispy Pad Thai and crab rangoon at Cozy’s is the reason I’m fat. That and beer. Which you can bring to Cozy.

Meh. Cozy is kitschy cute, and I can see it being a good option if you’re in Wrigleyville and in a crunch and/or have a coupon on top of the already pretty inexpensive prices, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. Some random tidbits: CASHONLY — This is annoying. There is an atm inside the restaurant and a PNC atm right outside, but if you bank elsewhere and try to avoid atm fees, it’s inconvenient. THESPACE — Like I said, cute/kitschy. Walls are lined with baseball bobbleheads and other curios. The restaurant is tiny and can get crowded; you might be able to hear other tables’ conversations better than your own. WAITTIME — On a Saturday night around 7:30, about fifteen minutes for a table of five. FOOD — It’s all edible, but not great. I liked the crab rangoon and Thai iced tea. The edamame was flavorless, not even lightly salted. Skip it and get a frozen bag at Jewel to microwave. Trust me, it’ll taste better. The pad thai was mediocre and so, so, so orange, almost as orange as my Thai iced tea. I got chicken and tofu, and there ended up being a ton of kinda-tough-to-chew tofu and about three tiny pieces of chicken. Whatever, I still ate it all. A friend’s crispy pad see ew noodles were way overly crispy, veering into might-slice-your-mouth territory. I mean, by the time I’d finished my food and was satisfactorily full, I’d gotten over my annoyance at the cash-only situation and bewilderment at the color of my pad thai. But still, probably won’t ever come back.

Honestly, I have no idea how this place even has 4 stars. I eat a LOT of Thai food and I can honestly say it’s the worst I have had in the city. I left there so disappointed and wondering if it was just another Wrigley restaurant that can get away with subpar food because of its location. Sadly this might be the case. We had a Tom Kar and a Tom Yum soup to start. Tom Yum– canned mushrooms and overall was just alright. Tom Kar was overwhelmingly coconuty, not your typical broth, the ends of the peas were yellow and mushy, broccoli heads were yellow… Not the authentic and quality Thai food I am used to a getting in Chicago. Edamame was just microwaved, did not have enough salt, was just bland. Not even hot enough to serve. Vegetable spring rolls were very bland. Usually the sauce makes this appetizer great but ugh, it did nothing for me. Pad Thai — Now I have high standards for pad Thai and if I try a new restaurant, this is typically what I order. It offered very little flavor, the same mushy beans, and greens that also seemed unfresh and a pile of peanuts on the side. I added Siracha just so it was palatable but needless to say, we did not finish anything we ordered… And I really hate wasting food! Oh and the water tasted really gross like the ice was dirty or something. In sum, although the feel might be cool and has a Wrigley theme, I will never come back here. I will stick to my faves, Noodles in the Pot and Aroy! Only giving two stars because the service was good.

Minimum $ 10 credit card charge so I couldn’t get my order. Pretty sure that’s illegal. They definitely lost a customer

This place DOESNOT accept cards(for dine in). They have an ATM in the resturant, so instead of Cozy paying $ 1 in credit card fees, they instead charge customers $ 5 with the ATM fees. Used to come here all the time for the food, but never again. Get with the times, no one carries cash anymore.

After a cubs game, we were looking for some grub. Something that was not ballpark, or bar food. I came across this place on Unilocal, its about 2 blocks from Wrigley Field and 800+ reviews, it was a done deal. Pretty small place but it has alot of charm. Its CASHONLY. The Crab Ragoon was amazing, skip the wings. The crispy Pad thai is hit or miss. I thought it was a textural masterpiece, but my buddy was not feeling it. My favorite was the Panang Curry noodles with chicken, its savory, spicy, and got some crispy noodles in there. With your ticket, you will get %15 off. Although I think next time I will go before a game not after. Because it is BYOB, its a nice lowkey spot to have a few brews and grub, for a cheap tasty pregame!

Had this recommendation from a friend who claimed some of the crazy cheapest deals in Wrigleyville, and having a free week I had to try it out. Cozy might not be the word I would use, but I’ll allow it; when you walk in you probably won’t know where to start looking. Either the left wall with all the robots, the right wall with tons of baseball paraphernalia, or for the adventure the restrooms(the ladies one I have been told has walls of jpez dispensers). It’s like Toys R Us mixed with my childhood basement mixed with some Thai Food. Tried out that $ 1.99 Lunch Special Soup, their $ 5.99 Lunch Special Pad Thai w/mini Egg Rolls, and had a tasting of my friends Chicken Rama and Pad Khee Mao. Was a little bit let down by the Pad Thai, as the tamarind flavor and sweetness was a bit overwhelming. The Pad Khee Mao, from what I tasted, was actually pretty well balanced though I would have preferred a bit more spice. Verdict: 3⁄5 for flavor, but 5⁄5 for value and quirkiness. Not the greatest or most authentic Thai Food I’ve ever heard, but for their cheap lunch specials and awesome décor, I wouldn’t mind coming back.

So typically I wouldn’t review a delivery order, but this was a pretty annoying experience. I ordered the Curry Rice from Unilocal’s Eat24 app. The description on the app lists is as: «Curry Fried Rice(spicy) Stir-fried rice with curry powder, egg, white onions, green peas» When I get the order, there are massive chunks of chicken in the rice. I don’t eat poultry. So I called Cozy Noodles hoping to get a refund, and the woman who answered basically told me that 1) Eat24 had the ingredients wrong on their app and needed to fix it, and 2) I should’ve just called in my order if I wanted it to be correct. Oh. Ok. So I go onto Cozy Noodles website, and what do I see? Curry Rice listed as follows: «Curry Fried Rice(spicy) Stir-fried rice with curry powder, egg, white onions, green peas 8.75» No chicken in sight. Morals of the story: 1) Vegetarians don’t like it when you surprise them with meat in their food. 2) Update your effing menu Cozy Noodles. But shoutout to Eat24 for refunding me my money. I shouldn’t be eating carbs this late anyway.

Warning: CASH only for dine-in! Worth walk in the cold! Great vibe, great food. The service can be slow at times even when it is not busy so that’s why it lost a star. However, the employees are friendly. I’ve tried many dishes and have been very impressed with most. Crab ragoon is delicious :)

I appreciate Cozy for its«divey» feel, the thousands of entertaining collectors’ items scattered about, and its individuality as a small chain, but some things on the menu are just hit or miss. I came here with a group of friends for lunch last weekend and I would have traded my meal for any of theirs. I ordered the Sesame Chicken Salad and it was nothing special. It tasted like someone had taken pre-cut chicken strips, heated them up, placed them atop some bagged lettuce, and drizzled generic sesame salad dressing all over it. I was expecting something better for $ 8. ANYWAYS, my friends got Curry, Chicken Fried Rice, and Pad See Ewe which all looked, smelled, and tasted 10 times better than my salad. The noodles and curry are Cozy’s strong point, and anything else on the menu will not compare to them. They had excellent Crab Rangoon appetizer w/dipping sauce, and even stuck in a cute little umbrella, which made me feel for a second like my current situation wasn’t Chicago in the middle of February. My friends and I agreed that their Thai Teas were also very good. I wish I could have a do-over here, but now I know what not to order at Cozy. Be forewarned: at a table over, there was some confusion over the fine print of a Groupon – I have come here with one before, and there are so many random stipulations, so before you order/go, look at the time/day of the week/any special requirements listed!

Very disappointed ! Had bad experience! Was attracted to the place because of its decoration and my expectations were accordingly. The food was ok. but the worst thing came at the end: Cash only ?? Really? So you saved 1.24 $ credit card fees, but lost 4 potential customers and rewarded 1 star on Unilocal!Congratulations! Are we in the 18th century that you decided not to accept credit cards? Or maybe you’re trying to declare less income so you’ll pay less taxes? The manager said that there is a sign on the door. I’m coming to the restaurant to eat, not to read signs ! You must inform every single customer about it in person and not to expect from him to read signs. Never coming back here and will never recommend

It’s behind the pizza place. Because of its location, it welcomes Cubs fans. The interior is also decorated with fans stuff. It’s got a cool old look to it. Great friendly service. They also have a healthy meal which is great. Now about the food I ordered. If you are looking for authentic Thai, this is probably not the best place. The tom yum soup is on the sweet side. The chicken in it does not belong there. I had the crisp pad thai instead of regular pad thai, as it is recommended on the menu. It is really crispy! And sweet. If you like that for a whole meal then great! Tastes great but I should have had the regular pad thai. I just realized. I ordered vegetable yum tom not chicken, so they actually got my order wrong. It’s good that they cancelled it. Despite all this, my impression of the place is not bad. Good vibe, good place to sit with some friends.

This place was interesting to say the least. And not interesting like those friends of your friends that you don’t like so you call interesting. This place is a good interesting but a lot of things on the menu are thugs that I would only care to have once. For example they have crispy pad Thai. Most people would think this means some crispy chips on top of the pad Thai. But it’s actually weirdly soggy yet crispy noodles that seem like the tortilla chips you get from Costco with great sauce on them and chicken. Like j said tastes great but I would say I only need it once. That being said they have some classics on the menu that are great always like the pad see ewe or however one spells that. They also have some great mini egg rolls and crab rangoons. The establishment is a little strange but in a fun eclectic way. The service was meh I think we have 3 different servers so we never knew who to ask questions to but it was definitely more of a positive experience than a negative one.

What a cool place to eat. As someone on a budget for the time being I was happy to see online that their menu had a 2.00 chicken soup special. I gladly ordered that before taking in the sights with some of my buddies. The aesthetic in this resturaunt is incredible. As someone who is not incredibly into sports, I still really enjoyed the Chicago themed décor in Cozy. From the Blackhawks table we enjoyed our meal at to the cubs merchandise that covered the walls from floor to ceiling, this place knows how to stand out. My chicken soup was outstanding. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I definetly felt I got my money’s worth. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. The rest of the menu seems delicious and I really want to go back and try some of the other Thai food here. The service was perfectly fine and we had no issues besides the fact that we were informed we have to pay in cash AFTER our meal was complete. It was not too big a deal as there is an ATM right down the road, but it would be nice if Cozy made this more clear ahead of time. Wonderful Thai restaurant with great bang for your buck. Check it out! Just make sure you grab cash first.

This is absolutely my favorite thai place… no my favorite restaurant… no my favorite place ever in the world!!! Cozy noodle has atmosphere, attitude, and a whole lot of yummies for your tummy! Pro: Awesome atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating, fun trinkets and decorations in every room(including bathrooms!!), friendly staff, amazing food, great prices, and an unforgettable experience. Con: I don’t live close enough to go every day! Since moving away to Denver from Chicago, Cozy Noodle is ALWAYS a top spot on my visits back home. It’s a great spot to grab lunch, catch up with friends, impress a date, girl’s night, or bonding with grandma. My personal favorites and must trys: Baby Egg Rolls(served in a cubs hat! FUN!) and the CRISPY pad thai(I get mine with chicken but guaranteed good any way you do it). The way they do their crispy wide egg noodles is just out of this world. I tell people everywhere I go about it. Cozy love you!

Yummy Thai food in Lakeview! I do think it’s a TAD pricey for Thai but the food is pretty good. Crispy pad kee mow — excellent flavors and spice level. I thought the crispy part was really interesting and new. It did not taste bad either however because of the crispiness, it’s hard to continuously eat without resting your jaw. Overall too salty for me though. If they can make crispy pad kee mow this good, there’s no doubt that the regular pad kee mow would be good too. Cozy wings — delicious! 5 – 6 small little wings/drumstick with an excellent crisp on the outside served with a delicious sauce. Chicken Satay — It’s a lot like chicken satay elsewhere but it was still tasty. Fried Tofu — Also fairly normal. Tastes better when piping hot. Eat it before it cools down. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area or if you want to try the crispy pad kee mow!
