Had the sandstorm bowl and loved it! I recommend it spicy. A good quantity of food and delicious! Highly recommended.

Get the Sandstorm, it’s a sampler of their greatest hits. Awesome place to eat before going to Wrigley field.

Ordered from this place on Über eats a few time. Excellent value for the price. Both times I’ve ordered a sand storm bowl. Plenty of delicious food. Falafel slightly dry, and a bit of fat on the steak. The quantity of food in this bowl makes up for those tiny problems. Ask for extra white sauce on the side. Red sauce not the hottest I’ve had.

The food was alright nothing amazing but nothing bad either. Also lots of food for the price but The worst part was that we had to wait forever to get take out from here on a week night inspite of them having only me, my husband and another guy waiting for our orders. The person at the counter looked clueless. Don’t think I am going back again.

Some of the best Mediterranean in town, but the prices have changed three times since the beginning of this year. I order at least two times a week, but I will not pay $ 20 for just me for delivery food!

Sorry for the delay on the update, but food was great. We’ve been back a few times since! Fries. Dangerously good, perfect crisp texture. Falafel. Again, texture and flavor are great. Thanks for being a quality business in a sea full of sub par places that simply exist!

Quick fast easy. I order from them at least twice a month, its not premium food, but not bad either. Quality for the price — all of it is delicious.

Wanted to get my Mediterranean fix on, and heard good things about this place so decided to stop by the past weekend. Ordered a sandstorm plate, which had chicken + beef schwarma and 2 falafel. Pros: All of their entrees held up. Meat was tender and flavorful. Falafel was crispy and not at all bland. Could probably scarf down 10 of those on my own. Cons: The Zam Zam salad was a bit of a let down, and they were a bit skimpy with the hummus. The rice itself was alright(not phenomenal, not terrible, a little dry). For the price($ 11), expected a bit more in the plate. Verdict: 3.5 stars. Good food, though for the price of the sandstorm I expected a little more(esp on the hummus). That said, would be willing to try again and see if maybe it was just an off day, as the schwarma and falafel(especially the falafel) were quite delicious.

Dine in is a four star experience. Big portions, delicious falafel, great baba ganouj, and tons of veggies. Delivery is a 2 star experience. The delivery portions are so small compared to dine in and hardly includes any veggies.

This place is just plain awesome! I am from Detroit and spent alot of time in Dearborn… I know all about what good Middle Eastern Food should be! This place is as close as it gets in Chicago! Meat is moist, well seasoned, sides are fresh. This place is spot on! Always hot and fresh! Loooove it!!! It is a must try if you want REAL middle Eastern food at an excellent price and quality!

What can I say, I’m a sucker for great shawarma. Zam Zam certainly did not disappoint. Pairing moist grilled chicken with the perfect amount of cabbage and pickles made for a 5-star consumption experience. The first time I ever ordered Zam Zam was on a cold, snowy night about a month ago and it took 2 hours to arrive. I later learned that the delay was the fault of Grubhub rather than Zam Zam, but the owner was very apologetic and offered to comp my next order. I did not let one poor experience due to the weather mold my opinion, and giving the place a second shot was a great decision. I will definitely be back for more.

Just moved into the neighborhood last month. Yesterday, we were lazy and decided to GrubHub it. I placed the order and in ten minutes everything came piping hot and fresh. Yep, 10MINUTES! Ordered beef and chicken shawarma plates with hummus and falafel and fries. The meat well flavored and tender not dry like most middle eastern restos we’ve tried. Even the falafel was moist inside and crunchy on the outside. We’re happy to have discovered this place and we’ll be back for more.

I love this place so much. It is so freakin’ good and its open late on Friday and Saturday. Best shwerma and ghanoush that I’ve had in the city. Better than Dawali in Lincoln Park in my opinion.

Mmm Zam Zam is so delicious! The chicken schwarama is moist and flavorful, while the sides are so fresh and tasty– my favorites being the humus and Jerusalem salad. I also love that even though they give you plenty of food(typically two meals worth), it’s relatively cheap, about $ 9 for a plate, and you don’t feel guilty after devouring all the deliciousness. Zam Zam is a must try if you love mediterranean food but can also make you a believer if you don’t!

We order from Zam Zam for delivery every now and then and will continue to. I love the chicken shawarma, and the garlic sauce is so good. The tabouleh is also so fresh and tangy. The pita is like the type you’d buy from the grocery store(pita pockets), and the hummus is just ok. I love their falafel and order that as a side with my shawarma. So good!

I ordered delivery from here and had to jump on Unilocal!right away to write a review. Some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in years. Everything from the hummus to pita to chicken shawarma, down to the sauces-was delicious. The delivery was also fairly quick and the portion was enough for two meals. I will definitely order from here again. But, first I’d like to go in to see the actual space myself!

I’ve always seen this place and decided I’d give it a try. I’m a huge fan of Mediterranean food so I had high expectations. I went with the sandstorm plate — chicken shawarma, steak shawarma, and 2 falafel with rice, pita, and choice of 2 sides. I went with hummus and cucumber and tomato salad. I’ll start by saying the falafel was the best I’ve ever had. Amazing texture, piping hot on the inside, and great flavors. It was the best thing on the plate. Cucumber/tomato salad was crunchy and fresh. Rice was perfect. Steak and chicken both had their positives, but I liked the chicken better. I think my only complaint was that the hummus was a little oily — oil accumulated on top. It still tasted superb, but the oil was a turn off. Great spot — I’ll be back!

All meals are under $ 10; cheap sides as well. They also have rotating cupcakes, cake pieces, baklava, etc desserts Got beef schwarma and it was very very good. Lots of food. Jerusalem salad was fresh and tasted good with the humus side.

Excellent food made with care and pride. Shwarma, falafel, tabouli and more. The falafel are one of the best ever, not greasy, but very crispy. Meat is seasoned super tasty. Prices and portions are great, for quality food. I ate here exactly one year ago and the owner still remembered me. If you are in Chicago’s Wrigleyville, Zam Zam is THE place.

I tried out Zam Zam with my bud on a cool wintry weekend evening. Zam Zam has a very lowkey interior, with a TV in the corner and country music(???) blaring overhead to drown out our conversation. Other than one flurry of customers coming in to order food we mostly had the place to ourselves, though a colorful parade of Christmas-themed barhoppers passed by outside. We each chose a plate for dinner, and we appreciated the fact that you have quite a few options to choose from for your two side items. I had the beef kefta atop a bed of rice, and I opted for a cup of lentil soup and a side of three falafels as my side items. The plate also comes with pita bread and a few little cups of sauces. The best part of my plate was the kefta meat, and that’s the way it should be. The soup was a little soupy, but nice and warm does the trick during this cool evening. Everything else was fine as well, along with my bud’s chicken shawarma plate.
