I came on a Monday night around 7pm, there was a 30 min wait but they text you when your table is ready so you can peruse the cute boutiques on Southport instead of being pushed around standing by the door, always nice. The menu is on the smaller side and they were out of 4 dishes when we went which was beyond disappointing. The pizza’s were really good my favorite was the Spanish Chorizo and Dates pizza followed closely by the Mushroom Leek and Goat Cheese. The beer sampler was also good. I will be back to try the elusive Cauliflower & Curds and their Pie and Pint special for $ 145 – 10 on Monday nights!

Wait was a little crazy but the food and beer were excellent. Also the PL Clemens drink was pretty amazing. It was like a walnut maple-y old fashioned. The burger was great with bacon and the mushroom, arugula and goat cheese pizza was very savory. I would totally go back.

This was our first stop on our tour of Chicago. We were staying in Wrigleyville and saw that there was a brewery relatively close by, so we decided to check it out. We sat at the bar and were greeted pretty promptly by the server. I got the beer flight, and my husband got the Clock Strikes 13, a berliner weisse. Usually when I get a flight there’s something I’m not totally sold on, but all the beers they had on tap were in the good to very good range. My favorite was probably either the Smirking Revenge, which was nice and malty, or the Wizard Fight, which was refreshingly hoppy and creamy at the same time. Also recommended is the pretzel, which comes with mustard and beer cheese. The beer cheese was just«eh» but the mustard was nice and spicy and the pretzel had almost a croissant-like texture, which was awesome. I wish it had been a little bigger for the price, though. Overall good space, good service, good beer. Would go again.

I love this place! I live right around the corner and was so excited to see a brewery opening. We went opening night and have gone back numerous times since. My boyfriend and I are a bit of beer snobs, but we get the flight each time and enjoy every beer they have to offer. Food is great as well! I recommend the burger or the Lyonnaise pizza. My boyfriend would say the Fried Oyster Po’Boy.

This place has a super cool vibe. Excellent décor and interior and a bit tucked away. Service was good. Beer was excellent. I definitely recommend the sour(nice and tart without being too sour). I would also recommend the buffalo fries cauliflower and cheese curds. My only qualm was the tuna sandwich. It was seared tuna but not quite seared, more just warm. I would love to get that sandwich just a bit hotter. Would definitely come back and scope out one of those pretzels paired with beer flight on a first date.

Been eyeing this down with a girlfriend anticipating for the opening. I finally checked it out last week for girls night out. No wait on Thursday at around 7, it was a nice unexpected surprise to say the least. Got greeted right away with a friendly hostess and had a great server. He got me two samples because I was in between two(lactose IPA) was the clear winner! I also indulged in an oven baked chicken BLT with a side salad. I thought the menu was a little fancy for a brewery, but none of my 4 other girlfriends had a complaint with their food, so I get their idea. Awesome décor as well. Loved my experience here and will definitely be back once this Chicago weather warms up!

Have you ever imagined what the Gap would look like if it was a brewery, well imagine no further. This is where the staff looks Disney hipster, the menu is way over priced, and the beer is as average as it comes. So grab your yuppie flannel, Gucci purse, North Face fleece, and enjoy yourself. The rustic wood ceiling is so cool.

Corridor is just what Southport needed. I admit I’m not huge on Belgian-style beers… I’m more of a Stout/Porter kind of girl, but so far the few beers I’ve had at Corridor were still delicious. What I think is the standout though, is the food. Buffalo cauliflower & cheese curds? Yes, please. The mussels were amazing as well. I wish they took reservations, but I also enjoy that it’s one of those places that, if I see it’s not too busy, we can just swing into on our way home from work. I absolutely love the décor… the lamps inside are amazing & the overall space just feels great. It’s kind of small, but the ceiling height makes it feel so much larger. Reasonable prices with the option of small or regular size beer pours. I’m thrilled to have this in the ‘hood… instead of yet another unnecessary Yoga clothing store taking up a space, we got a beer joint! Win!

I love this place. I think I’ve been here 6 times since it’s opened. Corridor is a sister bar to DryHop on Belmont and Broadway but Corridor brewery specializes in farm house ales. Their beer menu changes often which I really like. It’s nice to pop in and get to try something new every time! I think their menu is reasonably priced. A 10oz pour of beer is 4 dollars and most of their beers are 7.5% and higher all you need is a couple of those 10oz pours to start feelin’ good. They also have to-go cans of their beer for 8 dollars, great steal for 32 oz of fantastic beer. If you’re into growlers you have to bring your own. Not only is the beer on point, their food is right on par. I highly recommend the cauliflower and cheese curds to start and their mushroom, leek and goat cheese pizza is probably my favorite thin crust pizza in Chicago thus far. The flavors mesh unbelievably well together and the chili oil/red pepper flakes on top add a nice kick. Be prepared for a wait! They do not take reservations… However, you can leave your name and number with the hostess who well text you when a table is ready. This gives you time to walk around southport :)

This hot happening craft beer space is run by Dryhop Brewing, so you know the beers are on point! Corridor only taps six beers at a time, but you can get them all in a sampler, if you wish. They also sell 32 oz. cans, or can fill the Growler you bring in. Stopped in with Daphne L. and thankfully they had seats at the bar, because it was crowded! Wouldn’t mind seeing the bar get extended a few feet in lieu of that first dining booth! The night was filled with great beers, and great company old and new. They’re changing their beers constantly, but my review for beers when I visited: — Nibble, Nibble, Little Mouse 4⁄5 stars — Sober Cannibal(cherry/lime) 2⁄5 stars — Grind Your Bones(excellent Pale Ale) 4⁄5 stars I’m definitely looking forward to returning to try their food, and for more taps.

Went to Corridor Brewery for an early Sunday lunch with my Mom. If you want to get in right away, this is a perfect time to go. There was no one else there haha. It has a very warm, rustic feel inside and is larger than its sister brewpub, DryHop. We started by ordering a flight of their beers. Six 5 ounce tasters for $ 16 which I thought was a good deal. The first IPA listed is very mild and easy to drink while the second is much stronger and more like a traditional IPA. The pumpkin spice beer smelled like Fireball to me. The Blame John Cusack was my personal favorite. Both my Mom and I ordered the burger. It’s definitely a good size and it comes with a healthy portion of really thick, seasoned fries. I thought the fries mixed with the mustard herb mayo was outstanding! The burger was really juicy and well prepared. It’s different from the legendary DryHop burger but it’s really good in its own right. I added pancetta to mine which gave it some additional flavor and a good crunch in every bite. Great addition to the Southport Corridor and the Chicago beer scene. Will definitely come back to try new brews and new menu items! Hoping they add a brunch menu too

I am a big fan of DryHop and was excited to hear that they were opening up a new joint. Went there for dinner and was told that there would be an hour long for two people. Luckily, the bar area is first come first serve and two seats were opening up as we walked in. I was a little surprised by how small the bar area is(~12 seats) given that it is a brewery and also relative to the size of the DryHop bar area. That being said, the few seats at the bar are very spacious, leaving plenty of room to both drink and eat dinner. We started off with the 6 beer flight to see which ones we liked. Most of the brews were really good but there were also a few misses(i.e., an oddly tasting American IPA). My favorite was the Saison, which had the perfect amount of sweetness and bitter notes. On the food front, we had the mussels, fries, and a pizza. Everything except for the fries were great. Mussels were super fresh in a delightfully creamy aromatic sauce. The lyonnaise pizza, which is topped with pancetta, runny yolks, and frisee was sooo soo good. Pancetta was perfectly crispy and salty while the over easy eggs had the perfect amount of ooze.

Great new addition to the Southport Corridor! Escaped the snow and came in here for a nice Saturday lunch. Really love the décor and vibe inside, nice character and warm and inviting. The hostess was very nice and they take your number when you check in so you can head elsewhere if there is a long wait and they will text you when your table is ready. Otherwise you can wait at the bar(where there are maybe about 6 – 8 seats) or there is also a long table up front you can stand at and have a drink while you wait. We were told it would be a 45 min wait(Saturday at about 1:30), but probs only waited about 20 mins, and was easy to get a beer from the bar in the meantime. I could see how waits could be pretty long on busy evenings though as there really aren’t a ton of tables as a lot of the space is occupied with big booths. Probably not the best place for a bigger group as there aren’t a ton of table options for groups. For drinks I opted for the beer flight where you can try all six beers that are on tap. Gotta be careful here as the beers are all pretty strong ranging from like 6.8 to 7.5%. Def got a little tipsy! My favorites were a cherry and lime saison, kind of different, nice and fresh tasting, as well as a pumpkin beer. It was really good with more of a subtle pumpkin finish, liked it so much I bought some 32oz cans to go to bring to thanksgiving! $ 9 a can, not too bad for the size. My only complaint about the beers is that they weren’t served super cold and I just prefer a nice cold beer. For food, they have a nice variety on the menu, but we were looking for something lighter so both had the grilled asparagus salad. Really loved this salad, great combo of salty with seranno ham and manchego, and sweet with the figs and marcona almonds for a crunch. Not a huge serving size, but not too pricey either. If you are hungrier I’d recommend getting a starter as well if you’re just having a salad. Service was great as well, the waitress was super attentive and they also had a guy who delivered the beers and told you more about them. Would def be back to try some more things in the menu or to grab some nice beers to go!

Yay! I’m so happy to have Corridor in my neighborhood! Lots of comfy booths and a small bar. Expect a wait but they’ll take your phone # and text you when it’s your turn so you can shop on Southport while waiting. The food: Really good– a step above the bar food you’d expect. Some standouts: Cauliflower & Curds Chicken & Brie Sandwich– comes with thin, salty, yummy fries Burger Chorizo & Date Pizza The beer: I’m pregnant so haven’t been able to have this yet but my husband and everyone I’ve been here with has said it’s great! They offer sampler flights but I was surprised that when my friend asked for a smaller flight(I believe she wanted just 3) the waitress said she couldn’t accommodate that. Seemed odd– she didn’t even bring 3 small pours for her instead.

This place is a new urban/country brewery. This is a nice place for a meet up with friends or nice date. The beer list is small(6) but they are all great beers. They are all house made which is very different, especially with all the micro-brewery storage containers in front so you can see them. The beer… Grind Your Bones was as unique as the name. An American IPA with a tropical fruit dominated pallet offers a smooth finish and a strong kick to warm your bones on a cold winter day. So the over all experience was 5 stars but I had to cut it down to 4 because of the pricing. It’s a little high but I do understand where I am.

As Dryhop diehards, we have been eagerly waiting for Corridor to open for nearly a year. I guess in light of that anticipation a little bit of disappointment was inevitable. This place definitely has the Dryhop touch — balanced, interesting brews, satisfying tasty food, etc. — but I think it will be a little bit of time before they are firing on all cylinders. Service was inconstant: our dining companion was left without a drink for a long time, one of our items never arrived, and we had the recurring sense that our server was trying to hustle us along even though the place wasn’t full on a Sunday night. The star year-round beer, Wizard Fight, had a disappointing lack of body and depth. And most of the food was in the range between«fine» and«tasty» but not at Dryhop’s level. There were flashes of greatness though — buffalo-fried cheese curds and cauliflower is a nearly-perfect bar appetizer, and the Saphir-hopped Saison had a nice dry bitterness. Ultimately, I have enough faith in this place’s potential that I’m sure I’ll be back, probably frequently. And I feel a little disloyal saying anything non-superlative about any part of the Dryhop empire. But to be honest, if you were waiting for this as long as we were, you’re going to be disappointed for a while, so you might adjust your expectations, or just go to Dryhop.

I am so thankful that this place finally opened and that it is so easy to get to! Just a few strides from the Southport Brown Line stop, this place fits *perfectly* into the quaint Southport Corridor. Plus, it’s appropriately named! Clark and I both got flights of their beer, because we obviously needed to try all of them for the first time. Six options on tap, and I liked all of them. They’re all sooo different! But the food. OMG, the food. First of all, I’d never have thought cauliflower and curds with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese would taste as amazing as this app did. The aftertaste of a curd w the sauce is surprising! I wish I had 10 more to enjoy. Even the fried cauliflower is incredible… just be careful not to burn your mouth on it. I ordered the mussels and I enjoyed every. Single. One. Even the bread was perfectly toasted and presented!(Ate all of that, too). There’s so much beer broth(made with one of their own) so you’re not at a loss of juice to soak up. My one criticism is that the broth was so salty, I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. However, I am sensitive to salt, so maybe it isn’t so bad after all. Clark ordered the chicken and Brie sandwich. Let me first say that he’s my usually one for fruit and Brie on sandwiches, but he inhaled it. I would have too, if he didn’t take it back from me after I tried a bite. Everything came out at a perfect temperature, everything tasted incredible, everything was perfect. I cannot wait to become a regular here. I’d say only the frites weren’t worth the $ 5 side charge. Luckily, we didn’t order them as a side(they came with his sandwich), but IMO, they use standard fries(hi, McDonald’s?!) and their twist is the sauce they give you with them. We were underwhelmed by them, but that’s not to say they were bad. Get here and try everything on the menu ASAP. You’re going to love it.

Never Have I Ever waited outside a brewery on opening day for them to let in the masses. Prior to yesterday, I’d be scot-free. Now? I am taking a shot on that one. Corridor Brewery & Provisions opened at 5pm yesterday in Southport. This little strip keeps getting better & better filled with shops, food spots and now the obligatory brewery brought to you courtesy of the folks who did DryHop. The focus at Corridor is on Farmhouse ales and similar eats. It’s a brewpub, y’all! Strangely enough, I found their farmhouse saisons to be meh and their other beers to be fabulous. I had the flight of 6 beers for $ 14 which has all of their current brews included. Of the 6, the standouts for me were their imperial IPA Wizard Fight(which made me think of larping), Nibble, Nibble Little Mouse(a pumpkin beer) and Cotton Candy Goat — some strange type called a «poire biere de table». I had never had a french table beer before but I must say, it really did have that cotton candy flavor to it! What Big Teeth(APA), First Daze Here(Saison) and Freaky Deaky(Belgian Strong Dark Ale) were all pretty standard to me, not horrific, not amazing, and nothing I’d probably order again. I also have to give it to Corridor that they have some pretty stellar names for their beers. You can order beers in 10 ozs or 16 ozs… You can order to go 32 oz cans or 64 oz growlers. Currently you can only get 5 oz pours in the set flight. I am interested to see how things evolve, if and when they have more beer offerings. I found their beer prices to be very spot on and quite reasonable. Food prices were fine with me, too, but my friends ended up not ordering any grub because they thought it was overpriced & didn’t find anything appealing. I ordered the Cauliflower & Curds shared plate for the table for $ 9 consisting of deep fried cheese curds & cauliflower, drizzled with buffalo sauce and with a side of blue cheese dressing. This was like Buffalo wings slightly healthier, for me. I have a feeling this will be a hit for fellas in the ‘hood and I quite enjoyed it myself. Slightly spicy but I loved this take on the dish. I’d totally get it again. For my main dish, I went with the Oven Baked Chicken & Brie($ 13). This warm sandwich was served on a very healthy looking bread — seeded multigrain — and with some greens, vinaigrette, brie and an apple cranberry«mustarda». I liked this dish but with all the flavorful sounding ingredients, I still found something lacking in it. I don’t think it’s something I’d get again but the menu is packed full of interesting sounding items for me to try on my next visit. One huge thing that stood out to me about Corridor was the amazing way in which an opening day was handled. I’ve been to tons of openings and they are usually filled with mass chaos & confusion. I saw none of that yesterday. Everything seemed to run smoothly, great but not overly invasive service(ie perfect), food came out quickly, drinks on the table fast. As someone who regularly goes to preview events, grand opening days, and the like… I’ve never seen such a polished opening! We all absolutely loved the atmosphere and décor, personally I loved the variety of seating options from the belly-up-bar to half booths to full booths to tables. We waited outside for them to open with probably about 20 others. As time went on & Corridor filled up, when we left about 730pm, the bar area was packed to the max. We were thankful we got a nice, comfy booth away from the front madness. My friends and I(me a beer snob, one friend who at least knows the basic beer types & what she likes, and another complete noob at beer drinking) all agreed Corridor’s pumpkin beer Nibble, Nibble Little Mouse was the top offering. Looking at their Untappd ratings, it seems we weren’t alone in our thoughts. I highly suggest you getting over there this fall so you can taste this one!
