I took my ASUS lap top in, only three years old, because it would no longer turn on and work. I explained that I had trouble with the power source and the computer shutting off.
They repaired the computer so that it will now turn on and they gave me a new power cord for $ 240, this is about half cost of what I paid for the computer brand new. In store they showed that it will now turn on and work properly but when I got home I discovered that my battery won’t charge and the computer still shuts off while I’m working on it. I called back there and they said «Uhhhhh it’s your battery then. You need to buy a new one. You can order through us if you want.» What? How did you not discover that the battery was also defunct while you were «repairing» it. And now you want to charge me MORE money? I asked if I could bring it in for him to look at again and he said, if you want to. What great service. Before any repairs were done to the computer I asked if it would be worth repairing rather than purchase a new computer, they assured me that yes repairing would be way less. Then why have I already paid half the cost of the computer and it’s not fixed?
Take your computer here if you want it only half repaired.
