Great Garlic Parmesan Wings, with chunks of garlic, delish!

My wife and I went to the new location on 47^th/​Langley.
The food is good and it didn’t take very long time no to get our order.
The one thing that’s making me hesitate about going back is the fact that a worker in the back by the cooking area was walking around with half of his underwear showing. The owner was there and he must be fine with it as he let him stay back there like that.
I truly hope they address this issue.

The wings are pretty good. I also tried the jumbo shrimp. You can request that they not be fried hard if you prefer. Love the variety of flavors and the seasoning was on point. They also allowed me to sample some other sauces. The sewer smell may throw you off but, the city has outside working on the sewer system. I would definitely recommend that you try this place out. I would suggest they get more beverage options.

Love their wings & jumbo shrimp. Lately just seems like they been a Lil slow in preparing the food & getting orders mixed up

Ok so I’m giving this place 0 stars if possible… I have attempted to eat here 3 times in the last month they are always closed!!! The first time I called a young lady picked up the phone and said they were out of chicken… The second time I drove by and they were closed. I just called and I was informed that they would be back open in 45 minutes. It’s a shame that I can’t even support my own neighborhood restaurant due to major inconsistency!!!

The wings are great, I had the honey bar b q jerk, service was good. its a lot of things only the menu I would love to try. only thing is the guy that took my order overcharged me waaay too much on the tax. or instance the taffy grapes are 4.00 he charged me 5.00 a whole also on the chicken… bro need to brush up his skills on sales tax.

Best wings on the planet! Get the garlic parmesan, cheesy buffalo, and jerk barbecue and you’ll get a vast myriad of memorable flavors.

EAT HERE IF YOU LOVE WINGS. Their flavors are really creative. The straw-​Q and the Honey Jerk are so far my favorite. I plan to go back very soon to try more. Be mindful they only accept cash. Also the only suggestion I have is to bring back the Greek and Italian options and to update the website. But the wings are hot and saucy and the fries are seasoned well.

By far one of my favorite wing spots. They have a plethora of flavor a here. Definitely make sure you check out the CWAW Flavors. I had the Honey Lemon Pepper and the Jerk Honey BBQ wings. I promise you that I had to inspect my bone again to make sure I didn’t leave anything left on there. Full of flavor and fried slightly hard. Very small establishment, so don’t blink because you may miss it. I wish I could order their wings from Nashville because I would eat them all the time. Make sure you stop here when you come to Chicago.

I pass this place every so often… I’ve wanted to try them for a while…
Ok… Read all the reviews… Went in to try… There were some people sitting inside… But the smell of sewage hit me square in the nose… Not sure why no one else was offended…
Now what I know that food will pick up those smells as a flavor… So I just grabbed a menu and left… Don’t think I’ll return given the reviews posted

The atmosphere is great. Restaurant was definitely clean. No complaints, you should definitely try this place out.

Everything is made to order which is great but I was expecting something else. I was looking to get a fried wing smothered in some type of sauce like traditional buffalo or teriyaki wings. What I got was a fried wing with seasoning sprinkled on top of it. The mild sauce was a disgrace to Chicago’s Mild sauce as it was just a spicy barbecue sauce. However now that I know what to expect I would visit again as the wings were fried to perfection, really crispy with a fluffiness to them.

I heard a lot of good things about this restaurant from my co-​workers. So I decided to give them a try… I mean how can you go wrong with wings. Well, guess what… it went way wrong.
First, I went around 2pm in the afternoon on a Monday and when I first walked in there it was empty except for two guys and a girl talking and hanging out. Something told me that one of the gentleman was the owner because there was no one at the cash register and it didn’t appear that anyone was in the back cooking. Sure enough one of the guys walks over to the cash register and says what can I get you. I told him it was my first time there and asked if he had any recommendations. He suggested the bbq wings and I also ordered the lemon pepper wings.
Upon getting home and looking at my wings. I immediately noticed that the lemon pepper wings looked dry and over cooked. I also notice the different proportions of the wings. It was also evident that the wings were not fresh. Not sure where they buy their wings from but you could tell it was not quality. The bbq wings were ok but the chicken was tough and fried too hard. It was horrible. I will never go back. With so many great places to buy wings, there’s no reason to visit this place.
I’m not sure how this place got so many good reviews. Maybe there was a different cook when I went but I was just not impressed.

The Jerk Chicken tacos were so good. I ordered two tacos but I was full after the first one.

Best wings in town!!! Working my way through the flavors, 10 down and looking forward the rest.
I usually phone my order in, and when I get there 15 minutes later, it’s ready! But if I had to wait around a few minutes I wouldn’t mind. The place has a relaxed atmosphere.

I I don’t eat chicken but they have colossal shrimp with the ginger barbecue sauce that’s fire! I’m a Unilocal person and they had rave reviews so I brought my daughter here. It smelled so good in there. They have at least 34 flavors for wings. Didn’t even know this spot was over here. Very clean establishment and friendly. Glad to support.

IThe staff in this restaurant are terrible.
They were not polite nor were they friendly. The person at the counter never said may I help you nor did he say thank you or come again. He acted as if I was a bother. He said they were whole wings. They were not. They are more expensive than any other chicken establishment in the area. I chose them to support my people. My people treated me like s***. I had three different types. The buffalo wings were the only ones that were tasty. I will never visit this restaurant again. I would not suggest it to anyone.

Guess who’s back!!!
It hurt my heart to learn the original location closed last year and once I heard they reopened in a new location I was ecstatic! Me and some friends decided to have a gathering to celebrate the return of WATW! We ordered 100 wings for pickup.
Once we got there, I noticed they have a bigger space as now you can sit inside whereas before you always had to get your food to go as there wasn’t any sitting space. There are also flat screens on the wall to catch some good TV while you smash some delicious wings. They have also diversified the menu a bit as they now offer chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, salads, chicken & waffles as well as some fried seafood.
The favorites are still here as you can still get Strawberry BBQ, Sweet Ginger BBQ, Cheesy Buffalo, Maple, Jerk-​Q among others. We put a damn hurting on them wings as there were pretty much none left once we finished. Good to see these guys are back on 75^th.

There was a $ 10 for $ 20 deal on Unilocal,so I came here with two friends over the weekend. The surrounding neighborhood is pretty rough, so I would recommend driving over to the restaurant. (We took the 4 bus here and walked two blocks — have never seem my friend walk so fast in my life. Ended up über-​ing it back).
They were filming for some sort of TV show or movie when we arrived, which was pretty cool.
The service here is great — we ordered two sets of 10 pc wings (garlic parm, honey bbq, banging spicy, and jalapeño). The honey bbq one was my favorite. The spicy had a real kick to it. All the wings I had were very delicious and flavorful. I would definitely recommend getting two contrasting flavors (e.g. one sweet, one spicy) to get a fuller experience here.
While we were waiting for our wings, one of the workers here brought us out a cup of grapes lightly coated with peanuts and caramel. This gesture was very much appreciated! These little fellows were delish! If they are on the menu, you have to try them.
Service is great here so this wasn’t really a problem for us, but I can imagine that during busier hours it would be useful to have a napkin dispenser on each table since the wings are so messy.

If you know me you know I love wings and every wing is not treated equally. I believe this is some of the best freshly cook made to order chicken wings I have tasted in a long time.
When we first heard of this place we drove to the old location and if we had only walked down a little more we would have seen the new location, so if you see on Unilocal or Google that Chicago Wingz Around the World is closed its the 510 E 75^th location and the new one is 557 E 75^th right on the corner.
When we first stepped in we could see the place was clean and the aroma of the wings filled the restaurant.
If you think you are just going to see your typical wings you are mistaken they have flavors like Parmesan Garlic (d’lish), Jerk Q, Cheesy Buffalo and Jerk Teriyaki to name a few. I believe they have about 40 different flavors to choose from so you could go everyday and still have something new.
What I really loved about this chicken is it had the right kind of crunch on the outside and moisture in the inside. You can get ten wings (halves) w/​fries for $ 9.95 and two flavors so it allows you to taste more than one flavor.
I sprinkled some of my Parmesan cheese on my Jerk Q and I was in heaven the cheese cooled down some of the heat from Jerk and also gave it a bit of a pop in flavor on my dancing taste buds.
The owner was cool and it seems like the regulars really like him and we can see why because he was very nice and answered all of our questions about the different flavors that he created.
I like that on Monday you can get the wingz for .50 each. On Tuesday they have a wingz challenge and if you can eat their hotess wingz they will give you up to $ 50 dollars depending on how many wingz you eat.(Now I don’t know how long this deal is going to last but it was going on when I was last there.) Another thing that makes this owner stand out is that on Sunday from 12 – 2 they have a homeless special where they give out free wingz. This tells me that the owner is a blessing to many and we should bless him with business so that he may continue giving back to the community.
They no longer serve the salad he told us because it wasn’t really selling along with the homemade Sweet Tea. I kept thinking bring back the Sweet Tea… lol
The second time we went back we ended up eating there and the owner came over to our table making sure everything was okay with our food and he also told us that if we would have let him know we were eating there he would have put our food on a real plate. It was fun listening to the other customers talk about sports I forgot how animated men can get when they are passionate about their team.
They also have a deal on Unilocal which is similar to Groupon $ 10 for $ 20 another way you can save and taste those Amazing Wingz. Trust me you won’t be disappointed!
