One of the simplest pleasures in life is to wait patiently with a cup of coffee, watching the game on the TV or listening to the banter while waiting to get your hair cut.
Carmen has been here since 1965, and he’s not going anywhere. I’ve been coming here for most of my adult life, and I plan on continuing to. He’s cheap, and you’ll enjoy good conversation the whole time you’re there. I think this whole experience has started to fade with the passing of my grandfather’s generation, and I feel like coming here brings me back, just for a little while.
