Worst falafel in chicago. Tastes like it’s been reheated 5 times over. Dry and crumbly. Tastes like dog food. Don’t go here!

I don’t post reviews very often, but this place is so bad, I couldn’t not say something. I ordered the chicken shwarma plate with tabbouleh and hummus as my sides. From the first bite of chicken and rice I knew something was wrong as I heard a dissatisfying CRUNCH. To call the rice a bit undercooked is like calling one of Paula Dean’s pies a little on the rich side. This rice may as well have been raw and I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference. It literally feels like pins and needles in my stomach right now from the few bites I managed to wrestle down. The rest of the meal was unremarkable at best. The chicken had a decent flavor, but was dry and didn’t resemble anything close to what shwarma is supposed to actually be. The pita was cold, brittle, and most definitely not fresh. The tabbouleh and hummus were the highlights of the meal, coning in at a respectable«meh.» Don’t waste your $ 7 on this place, I definitely won’t be repeating that mistake.

EXCELLENT food! a bit more expensive than what I’m used to, but it’s downtown, in Union Station, and a high volume area. it’s to be expected. But the food was«grubbisimo», and the service was über fast, less than 90 seconds from start to finish.
