Today I ordered the Sesame Chicken Dinner special, which included white or fried rice, an egg roll and a can soda, which was delicious. I wish they had more sesame seeds on the chicken, but the serving size was plentiful. I also had steamed pot stickers(dumplings) which were jumbo size and tasty. To my surprise their prices were actually lower then what was posted online! I would recommend this as a hidden treasure for a good place for chinese takeout. Regarding Samantha and her uppity attitude, she should go back to Wood Dale, as she clearly doesn’t appreciate Little Village cuisine.

Living near Chinatown I’ve eaten my fair share of Asian food. My girlfriend and I order and take out from here at least once a week. I’ve yet to find a dish that I dislike. I’m quite a picky eater and I’m always satisfied. The staff are nice and outgoing. Delivery is very fast and friendly. Tip them well! The portions are great and the prices are spot on. Honestly, I don’t know what that last review was all about. It isn’t greasy and is cooked with care. I will admit I’m not a fan of the egg rolls either but I really only like Vietnamese style egg roll/spring roll. I enjoy the salt and pepper fish(fried perfectly and seasoned with chilies and peppers), the chicken wings(sauceless, almost korean style, crispy), General Tso chicken(nice crunchy, thick pieces), chow mein(great flavor in the noodles). Really awesome deal for the lunch/dinner specials too. It’s acrazy amount of food or $ 7. Also, the bubble teas are what you expect, refreshing and tasty. Again, I eat here at LEAST once a week and I NEVER have had ill feelings as a result. To sum it up, this place is great and I urge you to eat here, locals!

While waiting for my mom to come out of the nearby bank, I was drawn to this place by the poster in the window for $ 3 bubble tea(smoothie with tapioca pearls, usually very delicious… not so here). I decided to also get lunch considering they had a $ 6 special that comes with an entrée, fried rice, egg roll and soup or pop. Seemed like a good deal, right? Wrong. I received my bubble tea first and it just tasted WRONG so I asked for a different flavor, hoping it was just the banana they used… buy the strawberry one tasted awful too. Not sure exactly why, I mean what could go wrong with fruit, ice and tapioca pearls? Apparently a lot as I couldnt even bring myself to drink more than two sips. I hoped my food would be better, but was seriously disappointed. Let’s be honest, when someone orders egg drop soup, they should expect a soup SLIGHTLY reminiscent of snot… but not to THIS extent. By the time the molten concoction cooled enough to eat, it had a thick in on top and was very very thick and mucousy. Pass. Even the eggroll was lacking, with a tough, chewy wonton and an unsavory filling. It wasn’t awful, but not something I would eat again. The general tso’s chicken was soggy and chewy at the same time. Not a good combination… and it was drowned in a GREASY sauce that tasted way too sweet and as of there was ketchup or some other cheap substitute for whatever was really supposed to be in there. I could literally see the grease floating on the surface of the pool of sauce in my container. The only redeeming portion of the meal was the shrimp fried rice, which was pretty greasy as well, but admittedly tasty. At first, I was considering giving them 2 stars because the staff WAS friendly and accommodated my complaint about the bubble tea, but later in the day, I was overcome by severe stomach cramps that I could only think to attribute to the greasy mess I had for lunch. But what can you really expect from a chinese restaurant in a strip mall in this neighborhood? Especially one that wasn’t even available on Unilocal yet! Next time I will deal with my hunger and test my luck at a more reputable establishment.
