Bacci Pizzeria

We ordered delivery last week and it was a huge improvement from the last order, but not the best. It was edible! I ordered the 10 piece fried shrimp, side salad, and french fries. My husband ordered a medium sausage and cheese pizza. He did not have a lot of sausage on his pizza, not like Beggar’s pizza! All in all I would be willing to order from them again.

I ordered lunch here yesterday. I ordered cheese fries and a supreme slice of pizza. The two people working the counter were talking so much they forgot to order my pizza. Mind you, I was the only customer in the entire place. When my cheese fries came out, I asked where my pizza was and he proceeded to say I did not order a slice. I showed him my receipt and he said oh yeah, I forgot you ordered a slice. I had to wait another 5 minutes for my pizza to be warmed up.
No one said sorry for the mistake or anything. they continued to walk away and converse instead of apologizing to the only customer they had.
5 stars for customer service, NOT.
5 stars for their excellent pizza, NOT.
Family owned and operated they said. I guess the family does not care about their customers.

Bacci is always a safe bet for a massive slice of pizza for a great price after a night of drinking.
Seriously, the pizza barley fits on a lunch tray! And I think it was only like $ 5 or $ 6.
Is it gourmet pizza? NO. But it’s a decent consistent pizza and you know exactly what you’re getting for your money.

Their pizza is fine for being cheap pizza, but their delivery is APPALLINGLY slow. It’s always 1+ hours to receive my order and I live literally 5 minutes down the road. Go somewhere else if you want your food faster.

Very appetizing for a slice of pizza in an incredibly generous portion! It’s a bit on the greasy side, but what local pizza joint that sells it by the slice isn’t? I wouldn’t go here for a night out to dinner, but it’s perfect for stopping by for a quick meal. I’d pick this place over others in the area.

Bacci is awesome!!! They have generously donated pizza for several children’s events at the branches of the Chicago Public Library that I have managed! THANKS, BACCI PIZZERIA!!!

Ok $ 7.00 bucks gor a slice and a small drink. Get the heck outta here!

Should give it negative 10. How do the worst pizza places in the world exist across the street from one another and stay in business for years?! Crust tastes like wall paper glue and play doh! Nasty

Left it two stars because I have had their pizza before; and it is not too bad for the size and the price.
The reason for the two stars is my experience on two separate occasions. Last month I went to Bacci’s during business hours. I walked to the door and tried opening it but it was locked. Two people inside the shop waved their hands as if they were closed. Was really craving the pizza but don’t know what was going on there.
Recently, which is the reason for my review, it happened in a similar way. I called 40 minutes before closing time last Thursday, (5÷21÷15). I tried ordering a pizza for delivery but was told that they were closed (not too sure why you answered the phone). I stated that the website says they are not closing until another 40 minutes. The reply was that «well we are really slow so we are closing». I asked if I could order the pizza for a pick up, and still received a no. With a smaller mom and pop pizza place, I suppose I could expect something like this, but that is just not how you should handle your business. Not sure if that was management or just the floor employees, but surely the people making that decision just don’t give a damn.
Obviously by the horrible reviews on here, there’s something really wrong at this location; and a really bad thing to happen with a reputation like Bacci’s. I live just a few blocks away but (and management/​owners should know this), there are hundreds of pizza places around us… I will take my business to one of those, more reliable, other pizza places.

They forgot our soda. The pizza was luke warm. We drenched it in sriracha and it was fine.
Should have clarified: We ordered delivery. Otherwise I definitely would have had the balls to ask for a cup.

I tried ordering food, Nick (apparently the owners son) told me it was 20 free wings with a pizza purchase &the manager at the Chicago Avenue location wouldn’t honor it. The manager AND the owner have yet to call me back like they said they would.
You guys were so worried about that $ 8 difference in the wings price. …when i was spending an additional $ 40.
So your managers would rather lose $ 40 then $ 8…time to rethink your hiring decisions

I ordered from Bacci for the first time recently and I’m conflicted with my experience. While the food was pretty good (salad and veggie pizza), it took over two hours to be delivered! Very frustrating since it is located only a few blocks away. I will say though that my order was fairly hot and delicious once it finally arrived. Next time I’ll probably do carry out.

They have a little cute delivery driver… very courteous .fast and efficient with her delivery. I wish y’all had more friendly drivers like her :) thank you baccis

Can’t complain on this baccis! Every time I order my food is on point! Plus side the girls that take my order are always kind and always give smiles. Loveeeeeee itttttt!!! when I order for delivery the guy that delivers is always polite and comes to my door. Martin I believe is his name cool guy and when I order for pick up my orders always ready when I show up. The girls are always nice and ask how my day is so far. We have some chuckles but not too many cause they are busy I don’t want to hold them back from work. Definitely a happy customer right here! :)

Food wasn’t great for what i paid not to mention that i paid by credit card on grub hub and when they delivered my food they asked for my card again and charged me AGAIN! When i finally was going to eat, i had to call again because they forgot to include my drinks. The people here are cool and the food is good

This place is completely overpriced and offerers ‘NY Style’ pizza that would make anyone from NY shudder; I would know, because I’ve lived there. A slice and «pop» (which costs them next to nothing) will set you back $ 5, and is fucking disgusting. The crust tastes literally like a cracker, and I’m sickened to think I spent so much for a slice of cheese pizza.
Skip this bullshit and find a real pizza joint in town.

I got a Unilocal account to leave good reviews for some of my favorite businesses but unfortunately that is not the case this time .
I ordered pizza, poppers, a dessert and sauces.
Bacci delivered only my pizza after being 15 minutes later than the estimated time of arrival which would have not been a problem if all items were delivered. When I called the delivery guy he directed us to call the business. Turns out he forgot majority of our food at the store … We did receive our other food 40 minutes later but it kind of really ruined our meal. Poor customer service, actually pretty good food

THE SLICE IS AS BIG AS YOUR HEAD!
Honestly the slice here is probably larger then a small pizza. In fact, when I get the slice to go they have to cut it again, in order for it to fit in the box to go. So it feels like you are getting two slices for the price of one. And the prices here are really low. It is $ 5 for cheese, pepperoni or sausage or $ 6 for the meat lovers or all veggies. But the deal gets even better… they throw in a free can of soda too! That makes me laugh because is the soda really free? Or is is worked into the cost of your pizza slice? Hmm! I call that food for thought!
Personally I really do not need the can of soda because I am coming up on two years with no soda in my life. I usually grab it and throw it in the fridge at work. I know someone else will need it one day.
This is not one of my regular pizza places but it is kind of my back-​up emergency, when I am pulling an all night session in my office. It is typically 9pm, when I realize I am still working and I haven’t had dinner yet. I really do not want to go out for a big meal and that is why I come here. Now I know that I said the slice is as big as my head but I also said that they cut it in two. My two slices now become two meals. Yes I save half for breakfast. Cold pizza rocks in the morning, after you just worked all night.
This place is worth it based on the low price and the amount of food you get. Would I go out of my way to order here? Probably not. But this place is always there for me when I need to get some food in my body.
