If you would have asked me a few months heck a week ago I would tell you that I love this place although it’s not the cleanest and they have raised their prices. I ordered a wings and gizzard dinner and the gizzard tasted spoiled so I walked back up to the restaurant thinking I would just get something else… well that didn’t happen… in fact what did soured my taste for this place. The young lady and gentlemen told me they had just dropped the gizzards and I proceeded to tell them I don’t doubt that they did my gizzards didn’t taste fresh that it tasted spoiled. They continued to tell me that they just dropped the gizzard when I placed the order… I said to them again that is probably true but do you know what spoil is… its rancid it isn’t good. What didn’t like I have been coming to this location for almost two years and this is the first time I had ever had a complaint about their food… they know me when they see me… we have laughed and chatted but this visit was so unexpected. I mean they didn’t apologize they just kept trying to say what they did and then when my tone changed they just handed me my money… I left WOW If a person has come to establishment for years and you know them when you see them… if they have a complaint… why not listen to them… why lose a customer over $ 5.50 I still don’t get it… but I digress! Will I go back doubtful… Will I miss this greasy spoon… Sure I will but customer service is more important to me and the truth is there are not good for you greasy spoons all over this city. Enjoy!
