I purchased a super cute painting by a local artist, the staff was very friendly.

Popped into this place after the architectural boat tour. I was attracted to a lot of the artwork there. They seem to have something there for everyone to appreciate. What I liked most is the friendly staff. They claim that the artwork is from local artists. I liked a couple of somethings I saw but only bought one. They told me that they’ll take phone orders too. I see the hook in front of me. I’m sure I’ll take the bait. Nice place to stop by if only to browse.

I’d walked by this neat little shop a few times, so on the LAST day, I popped in. I was looking for a unique gift for myself and I knew this was going to be where I found it. And Right I was! The minute I walked in, I was given the history of the shop — family owned, most things are made in the USA, and there was a 15% off sale of all wearables! All good things to know, right? So I took a look around and found a great convertible scarf/vest thing. I have one back home made of knit, but this one –very– different. I love it, And I got a gorgeous pendant necklace. I was happy that both of them were 15% off!

I happened upon this place while looking for souvenirs and it didn’t disappoint. Not only was the staff extremely nice and helpful, but it had the coolest stuff. A lot of it was handmade which is the kind of thing I love to take home after a trip. They had a little bit of everything, I had to back a couple times to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It’s a great place to shop for souvenirs, decorations or gifts.

This store is full of some oddball stuff, there’s no doubt about that. I was introduced to Arts & Artisans by my dad, who will buy me earrings from here for my birthday and other holidays. I’m still surprised that my favorite earrings are the ones I’ve gotten from Arts & Artisans. I’ve just never seen them anywhere else. They’re often hand crafted, and beautiful in different ways. I have edgy earrings, delicate earrings, and statement earrings from here that I love. And none of them have cats hanging from them or anything like hat. They’re definitely one of a kind like everyone says.

So. I had an hour to kill before hopping on the train to O’Hare and coming home. Since I’d failed to buy my BFF a gift at the Arts and Artisans at 321 N. Michigan, and this was right around the corner from my hotel… it was a no brainer to come here. I found a pair of earrings that I liked her for, and of course another pair for me. They recognized the earrings I’d bought the day before and gave me the extra discount, since it was 10% off for two jewelry items, and 15% off for three. I can’t argue with that. Anyway. I completed my purchases, went next door to Cosi and was told I had to wait 25 minutes for the lunch menu to kick in(but that’s another reivew), so I came back to Arts & Artisans to browse some more. I found a jewelry box I loved, but at $ 395, was not buying. There was also some really great wall art, but I wasn’t in the market for that. I did try on some of the funky rings, and generally spend more time looking at everything else in the store. The clerks totally weren’t pushy at all, and let me browse. An absolutely delightful place to shop or window shop.

I’ve walked by this store at least one hundred times. I had a extra minutes last night and stopped in. I’m so glad I did. I was greeted by the nice staff and took my time browsing. I’m really into handmade jewelry, particularly necklaces and earrings. This place has a lot of really fantastic handmade jewelry. There’s also art for your walls, lamps, umbrellas and all kinds of other really cool stuff. Just when I thought I was finished looking, I spotted this wonderful piece of art for my wall. It’s perfect and lovely and unique and just plain great. I cannot wait to display it on my wall. I should mention that the woman who helped me was so, so, so nice. She wasn’t pushy, annoying saleslady nice but just a very nice person. If you’re looking for a unique gift for someone or their home, I would definitely shop here. I’ll be back.

Cool store — lots to choose from, the staff was slightly annoying, but they were nice. My wife got some earrings here — they seemed to be priced about right. The store is definitely the right size, with so much stuff in there, if it were larger(and filled with more stuff) then it would be too big and impossible to wrap your head around. We’ll go back I’m sure…

This is my go-to store for gifts. They have lots of local artists’ creations and while you can get a $ 500+ wall hanging you can also get a $ 25 unique necklace. They are real sweet and usually know a lot about whatever it is you’re buying or the artist who made it. I’ve gotten my mom, grandma and cousin gifts from here that they loved and since they are always getting new things you never quite know what you’ll find.

One of my favorite places to oooh and ahhhh. They have beautiful art and wearable art items. My favorites are the Frank Lloyd Wright style stained glass pieces. Mostly, I drool over them, as they are quite pricey. I do love to stop in to see what is new and what is on sale. Beautiful, unique pieces!

I stopped by this lovely boutique today and was tempted by nearly everything in it. The jewelry, bags and scarves were particularly attractive, and it was only by great force of will(I don’t NEED it, I don’t NEED it) that I walked out unladen by purchases. The prices seemed pretty reasonable considering that everything was hand-crafted, and there was even a nice little selection of Judaica in the back. With gift-giving season approaching, consider this place for unique hostess and holiday gifts, plus maybe a little something for yourself. The address on their business card says it is at 321 N. Michigan. Their other shops are at 108 S. Michigan and 132 N. LaSalle, as well as in the Chicago Hilton and Towers, 720 S. Michigan.

It’s nice having a friend who isn’t intimidated by the«price» «dollar value» «$» «benjamins» or «mulas» I don’t have much time to go shopping to just browse, usually I’m shopping because I need something for myself or getting a gift for someone. I would have never walked in here without my brave friend. I would be somewhat intimidated because 1. I would be reserved and shy about subjects that I don’t know much about«Art» 2. Price range? Up high? since I don’t know much about that(look at #1) 3. Occasionally I feel obligated to walk out with something. Can’t be difficult than buying a car right? Anyways, this is a small, very small shop on the same side as 312 Chicago Restaurant on La Salle and Randolph, easy to find. The friendly staff greeted us and not so pushy, giving us room to browse around. I was very surprised to see many unique items, one-of-a-kind items! I really LIKE! And to see the price range being not what I thought it would be. You could find cool items for $ 15-$ 20 range and all the way up to you know where, use your imagination. I found toys, small paintings, jewelry, and purses in $ 20 range. I thought this place would be a nice place to come back to buy a birthday gift or for special person to get them something unique, hand made, one of a kind you can’t find anywhere except here at Arts & Artisans.

A cool place to look for different decorations for your home! They always have something cool to look at and want! Be careful of the prices!
