Apart has always done fantastically for us whenever we’ve ordered over the last year and a half. We get the largest vegetarian(quart of the pizza with artichokes, quarter peppers, quarter with corn and a quarter with tomatoes, covered in spinach), add some pepperoni and it’s just delicious

Love, LOVE the Cacciatore pizza! I ate the whole thing. by myself. with a Fresca. I then curled up in a ball and wept for a while. It was fantastic!

Very well done thin crust. It’s awesome they put the toppings on top of the cheese without having to be asked(who likes soggy pepperoni? — not me). The crisp is thinner and better than the typical Chicago thin crust(which I think tastes like cardboard). Not this stuff though. Great flavor and crunch.

I enjoyed the choices I had to choose from to personalize my pizza. I was able to eat my spinach and mushroom pizza at the restaurant while I added an order of Garlic Knots to my order. I liked the thin crust and cheesey pizza. The knots were addicting as well. I Will eat there again soon. TASTYANDPLEASANT.

We have ordered delivery from Apart several time in the past and it was always pretty good, but today, they missed the mark. I ordered a pizza with extra cheese and there was barely any cheese to speak of. In addition, we ordered a salad which they forgot(brought the dressing but not the salad). When I called to let them know, they said they had to make it. What a bummer. I am still waiting for said salad and it has been 30 minutes. I am probably not ordering from here again. What happened Apart?

It’s just a basic looking place, but very small; really nothing to look at, but I didn’t come here for the décor. We ordered the pizza first with 3 toppings ‘extra’, & vegan cheese. That doubled the price! We changed our mind to ‘normal’ amount. That still added $ 10. We ordered online, & it gave us a time of 25 min. We biked over and it was ready for us on time. The pizza was pretty good, & the cheese stayed ‘cheezy’. I wish the spinach was dispersed better than a ring around the center, but we enjoyed it otherwise – it hit the spot

Terrible. I would rather fight #pizzarat for his dinner than ever eat this sad excuse for«pizza.» I hesitate to even call it food.

Just ordered delivery from here. It took about an hour to arrive, which was fine, but by the time our order showed up the pizza was completely cold, looked awful and tasted terrible. We ordered a ten inch Queen Margherita, and it had maybe one or two pieces of mozzarella and a few scattered basil leaves. We had two salads, which were ok, but for over $ 40 the food was pretty shitty. About thirty minutes later we got a call saying that my card was declined and they needed me to give them the number again. What? So they’re saying that they delivered the order without accepting my payment first? The employee who called was yelling into the phone and saying it was my fault, but after rereading the card(which I shouldn’t have done, they had already delivered the food) it seemed to work just fine. Disappointing over all.

Very very thin flavorless pizza. Not worth even the low prices they offer. Would not order again.

Moved from NYC in January and have been trying to find some decent pizza to curb the cravings for a real slice. I’ve come to face the reality that if I want NYC pizza, I have to go back to NYC but Apart comes close to meeting my snobby pizza needs. The crust is thin and crispy. The topics are interesting and tasty. I really like the 10 inch pizza option which is pretty easy for one person to eat. The restaurant itself isn’t much to stay for so I’ll stick to picking up and taking out. Right across from Welles park, this is a great option for picking up for a picnic.

I enjoy this place for trying to be a italian true to heart when it comes to their crust! But when you call on a Sunday night 20 mins to 10:00(when they supposedly close) for a pick up not even a delivery, and i am being told they are closed already, truly its not cool! If closed maybe don’t answer my call… Also on Unilocal its indicated as closing time 10:30 pm:((

We love apart. But other reviewers are correct — their thin crust pizza does not stay hot for long. Knowing that, I put on our griddle when I go to pick up our pizza and pop each slice on for a few minutes before eating. Unlike an oven, the griddle heats from the crust up so the slice isn’t over-cooking. When treated this way, the pizza from here is as hot and tasty as when the pizza peel pulled it from the oven. It even tastes great the next day. Don’t have a griddle? A cast iron or non-stick pan will probably work, too.

Updating this review for gluten free pizza. They offer a tasty gluten free crust however it is only available in a personal pie 10″ size. While it is great that they are thinking about cross-contamination and therefore do not cut the pizza, it does make it annoying to cut yourself. My biggest gripe is that it is an extra $ 4.50 for gluten free crust — seems steep compared to most places that upcharge between $ 1-$ 3.

Sooo disappointed… I order from them regularly, I get pretty much the same thing. This pie was cold and tasteless! Even though it arrived much earlier than email confirmation stated. Leaves me to believe it was initially someone elses order, maybe they cancelled, so instead of trashing it they gave it to me. I was too under the weather to gather the energy to call them, since delivery was closing 10 minutes after the pie was delivered. I think I’ll stick with Aroma pizza!

I’ve never actually stepped foot in Apart Pizza, but they are my favorite pizza place to order from. Let’s start at the top(of the menu). The caprese salad is really good. I always get it with the balsamic vinaigrette and it is possibly my second favorite salad in the world(cesar always win that race). I’ve tried a few of their pizzas and liked them all. I have a special love for pizza that rivals only a dogs love for the hand that feeds them. Their specialty pizzas are really good, I like the margherita, the la blanca, and the apart pizza is delicious. Last but not least; dessert. I’m pretty sure the devil might be working at Apart Pizza. Il Diavolo came up with this amazing dough filled with delicious sweet fillings and it’s hot and delicious. It’s amazing. You need to eat that. So, in summation: Great salads, amazing pizza, sinfully delicious dessert. Why are you still reading this? You should be ordering from Apart

I had a hard time choosing what to order because everything sounded great! I ended up getting the simple trentina with jalapenos and my friend got the cacciatore. My pizza was okay but was pretty bland. Maybe it was the sausage they used. The cacciatore was more flavorful and I enjoyed that one. Nice crispy crust, decently priced and fast delivery(less than an hour!) I’d try a few more pizzas from them!

I want to thank Apart Pizza Company for offering Daiya cheese. It’s much appreciated. With that said I also want to encourage them to take the pizza up a notch. I called them and ordered delivery tonight. One vegan pizza, and one margarita pizza for guests. They said it would be delivered in an hour and it was actually delivered in half the time. Again, that’s much appreciated. The pizzas were ok. Chicago is pizza country and with that you’d think every pizza place would be up on their game. Not so much here. It was good, but not great. I want to encourage Apart to take their pizzas to the next level. The crust was good. It was thin and crisp. But everything beyond the crust was just so-so. It sort of seemed that I wasn’t the only one phoning it in tonight. You can do better, Apart!

I always get the item which is named after the establishment. The Apart Pizza is really fantastic. Mushrooms, sausage and pepperoni on a very thin crust. It’s hard to get a great thin crust in Chicago. It’s a little pricey, I think, though.

I came here on a lazy Sunday with my boyfriend after scouring the internet to find what could be called a «breakfast pizza.» This place somehow came up in my search so off we went! I ordered the Francese, which is topped with ham, fried egg, and brie. It was PERFECT. Exactly what I was craving! The personal size was just the right size for me to devour, and the crust was thin and crispy. The brie was a little overwhelming if I happened to get a big bite of it, but overall this was exactly what I wanted. My boyfriend ordered the Gamberetti, which is topped with fresh tomatoes and shrimp. Very interesting combination! His looked a little more soggy in the middle than mine did, probably due to the toppings he chose. He seemed to enjoy it though! This isn’t really close to where either of us live, but it looks like they have a couple locations around the city. Now I know where to go if I find myself craving another breakfast pizza!

Great thin crust pizza, really well prepared with fresh ingredients. Plus they have one of the best lunch specials in the city. Now I have a nice rotation option from thin crust to Deep Dish pizza in the area.
