The best choice of all kinds of meat as far as sausage, ham and etc. I only shop here for all my deli. The store has plenty of imported goods that you can’t get at other stores. Highly recommend it!

LOVEIT! Great choice of all Polish food and drink you can wish for! They even carry some cosmetics and OTC drugs, as well as newspapers! Visiting this deli is always a greatly anticipated highlight of all my trips to Chicago. As a Polish, I feel a great joy to be able to buy homey products and to speak my mother tongue at last! :) Be careful when picking some dairy products, they do happen to be expired! I am a great fan of their meat/deli station. Great selection of delicious sausages and really good ready dinners! You can even have it warmed up and eat there! Nothing better than coming home from Windy City packed with all the goodies! :)

The best Polish Deli/Supermarket in Chicago! They have many Polish dishes which you can buy from their hot bar and eat there. Or take home some soup, stuffed cabbage and pierogi’s to eat later. The deli offers many imported and in house made deli meats and sausage’s. They are one of the only places you can buy freshly made blood sausage! Many devilishly delightful items and breads in their bakery leave you pressed to make the right choice. Prices are much below average of the large supermarkets! A must stop when you’re in the area!

Grocery store/hot and cold food deli. This is the real-polish-deal. I had a stuffed pepper and potato pancake for lunch. Makes you feel like you are in a polish grocery store that is actually in Poland. Not expensive, there is also a coffee bar and area to sit and eat your food.

They have additional parking down the street(Milwaukee)… and yet people still try to cram the parking lot next to the building/store.

Visited this deli which to me seems like a small grocery store with a butcher shop to purchase some cheese and kelbasi to put in my luggage and take home. Upon arriving the selection in the butcher shop area was found to be fantastic as was the selection of bakery items. Having limited room in my luggage and being unable to take anything that would spoil on a two hour fight I had to control myself. The staff was all speaking Polish but had no problems speaking English when I ordered. I purchased Weselna Kielbasa, Sur Studencki and some Tylzyki cheese. The Ser Studencki cheese was purchased on a recommendation of the nice lady behind the counter, not knowing what it tasted like she provided a sample to ensure I liked it, it’s similar to Swiss. I also purchased fresh Danish for breakfast and they have a large selection of Polish chocolates and candies. I was so surprised at the very low prices of almost everything. This is a fantastic deli/grocery store with super friendly staff, I wish I could take the entire store home with me. I can guarantee the next time I’m in Chicago I’ll be back. A designated parking lot is available while visiting the deli.

Great Polish market. Pros: Friendly staff, large variety of meats, dairy, fish, vegetables, sauces & delicious food. There’s also a hot bar area you can dine at. They take credit cards and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Cons: Closes early compared to other food markets, limited alcohol selection, only three cash registers, limited amount of staff to assist you look for items you want.

Homemade fresh daily polish delicacies and the fresh veal, pork, beef, chicken, duck, and fresh or smoked fish is by far the best deli in Chicagoland area! Been to deli’s all over and this is the best! Check out the café and treat yourself to a juicy steak! Hot off the grill!

I love this place. It’s just 5 minutes from our house so we go here at least a couple times a month. They have a great selection of meats, delicious cakes and other packaged goods. We even ordered deli platters from Andy’s for our wedding reception and they were a hit. It’s one of my favorite things about this neighborhood. No need to speak polish just grab your number and get in line!

Disgustingly rude staff. They take extraordinary pleasure in passive aggressiveness. Rolling eyes, shrugging shoulders, dirty looks and that unique movement when someone who’s only job is customer service goes out of their way to make it known they are annoyed having to help you. All this in the 5 mins it took me to walk in and buy a bottle of polish vodka. Great selection though. I hate you Andy’s deli.

I don’t know what shop you whiners are going to but I’m 100% NOT Polish and I love this place. We stop here on the way out of town, always park on the street in front and have a ball at this place. My wife is part Polish but speaks not a speck of the lingo and we never have a problem here. The meat counter has all this GREAT stuff you don’t see where I come from. We load up on sausages for the father in law. He appreciates the great quality while we like the great prices. We have no idea what any of the labels mean but it’s some kind of adventure just going. Yes, they speak Polish, it’s a POLISHDELI you nitwits!!! I can’t believe you clowns have an issue with it. This is a MUST stop when we are anywhere close to this area of the city.

So agree with others– very unfriendly atmosphere. I think the counter help must just know if a customer is Polish. Though I have been in there numerous times, I have been treated rudely without regard. Counter help doesn’t greet you — doesn’t look at you, doesn’t acknowledge what you say, when you tell them what you want — and they NEVER smile. Just blank, almost angry attitudes. I don’t speak Polish — but come on! Andy’s food is good, so I’m compelled to give 3 stars BUT they really lose because of their lack of customer service, which is a disgrace. They should be embarassed and really reconsider how they treat their customers. They obviously don’t realize they represent a huge portion of Chicago’s population, or maybe they would do better. Where is their Polish pride? I probably won’t go back.

Great prices, but really rude and intimidating staff. I have to take a Xanax to work up the nerve to go in there.

Bacon is hand crafted and $ 3.99 a lb. Sliced ham so good and European style you’ll be making a special trip just to get that. Smoked meats, fresh pork & veal. The deli is immaculately clean. Prepared foods are available as well. You’d have to be crazy, or vegetarian not to like this place. For realzies

My family and I have been coming here for decades. This is seriously the best Polish deli ever. It’s so good it’s better than the stores in Poland. And trust me, I lived there for three years, nothing like Andy’s. Their deli section is packed with only the best meats and cheeses. Everything it’s fresh and priced well below regular chain store delis like Jewel. Service is phenomenal. My family gets treated like royalty here, all the girls know us and we know them by name. Whatever we need, they make sure they get for us. The hot foods section is out of this world. Real Polish cooking like my dad used to make when we were kids. Try the breaded pork chops(kotlet schabowy) with a side of warm shredded beets(buraczki smazone). Now that’s some good Polish food! Parking and the crowds are a huge downer, but that just shows that if the crowd is huge, the food must be good. The parking will test your patience though. You’ve been warned. Don’t worry if you’re not Polish and don’t speak the language. Everyone here knows enough English for you to get your shopping done. Try the Polish yogurt and desserts from the dairy section. They’re quite delicious. Andy’s is a great place to get your Polish on!

Authentic, packed with pretty much everything Polish you could want, but definitely poorly organized at the checkout line. Even without worrying about parking, the checkout was enough to make us not buy anything. Not super helpful or friendly, as above mentioned.

I am half Polish but non-Polish speaking and live a block away. I don’t go here unless I have a craving for stuffed cabbage or homemade chicken noodle soup. Never really had an issue asking staff for assistance and though they’re not overly friendly, they are certainly not rude by any means. It’s hysterical that there is a drop-box outside the exit labeled«Customer Complaints» situated directly beneath a security camera.

Excellent Polish Deli. You will find here delicious pierogi, soups, meats and deserts. Polish chocolate, coffee, tea, bread, butter, and cheese. Maybe not necessarily in that order. Ok anything polish you will find it at Andy’s deli. Plus they lots of different polish beers and liquor. The servers speak English so no language problems and everyone is so nice. I recommend going during the week as the weekend gets very busy and it is a small store and a lot of Polish people do their weekend shopping here because it is very good. So if you are planing your first trip to Andy’s go during the week. Also very very clean store and they always have fresh items.
