Amish Custom Kitchens

I worked with Kim on large built in cabinets for my living room. It wasn’t a huge project (compared to a whole kitchen, for example) but she came out to my home and measured and had a sketch back to me within a couple days. After I signed off on the initial sketch she gave me formal drawings and then I went ahead with the order. Had the cabinets in a few weeks. They look incredible. I’ll post a picture on here if I can.
I also had my cabinet shop for my kitchen bid on it and they were 40% higher than Amish, so obviously I went with Amish for these. I would have had Amish bid on the kitchen, but I didn’t find them until I had already ordered from a different shop.
Overall, great experience with Amish and Kim. I’ve since been working with one of their installers on my kitchen install and based on his commentary, Steve and Amish seem like a first class shop. They have a ton of experience so as to avoid mistakes, but they will fix anything that’s wrong and go out of their way for their customers. To be fair, it’s high end stuff so this level of quality and service is expected, but they do deliver.

Want to feel like your business is not needed? Kim will make very clear that your project is of no interest. Want to wait a week on a quote? Kim will make if very clear they are so busy and other customers «with orders» are more important than your timely quote. Want to be condescended and shamed and your quote shoved back in your face? Kim is very skilled at this too. Kim could care less about new business and she obviously must dismiss new business all day long. If you want to be treated like crap this is the place for you!

Our kitchen turned out great due to the quality of the materials, custom dimensions and details. Working with Carolyn was a smooth process. Can’t wait to work on our next kitchen together!

It has been over a year since Amish Custom Kitchens designed and delivered my cabinets. There is not one single thing that I would change, even after a full year. They took my rough layout and improved it immeasurably, and I still love it.
I’ve recommended them to several others as well, and I’ll continue to do so.
