I will never recommend this location to anyone. The receptionist has the worst customer service ever, this one particular receptionist never seem happy to be there. My doctor subscribed me medication but somehow it didn’t get refilled. Therefore I called Friday– Saturday, receptionist sent me to voicemail and I left it twice but no callback. I called again Monday(numerous times) because my prescription needs to get filled, it’s important and I missed a few days. And this nasty receptionist said there’s nothing she can do, the nurse is busy. I said since Friday, because I left voicemails? She said oh well, callback, then she put me on hold again and sent me straight to voicemail. I called again and then there phone is off the hook at 4 pm. This has happened to me numerous times. Too bad Dr. Remesz has a staff like that. I’ve been a patient for years but this is the final straw and I’m leaving, not because of the Doctor but because of the horrible customer service.

Dr. Arvey Stone, pulmonologist./critical care specialist, is with Advocate Medical Group, Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. He’s terrific, he takes the time to listen, he cares, and explains things thoroughly. He works with me instead of just giving orders, he answers questions readily and doesn’t beat around the bush and give answers like, «Well, everyone is different…» Some people I met in Pulmonary Rehab don’t like his matter-of-fact manner, but that’s exactly what I do like. I don’t want to be coddled or patronized — I just want the best medical care possible for my COPD and, IMO, that’s what I’m getting from Dr. Stone.

Upon further consideration of this doctor, I was insulted by the doctor prescribing medicines that didn’t work. Then he would tell me to see a specialist that didn’t work either. Don’t waste your insurance money

I’ve been slacking on my preventative care lately, so since I recently moved, I decided it was time to establish a relationship with a primary care physician. I chose this office because it’s über close to my house. I have a couple friends/colleagues who work as physician service admins, so I decided to ask them who they would recommend(I was clear that I wanted someone knowledgeable, friendly, accessible, etc). I was pleased that they had nothing but praise for this office. What I like the most: I was able to request an appointment online and got in to see an Internist in less than two weeks. I had an appointment with Dr. Hollins(who was quite personable) and so far, I’ve found him to be quite accessible with my follow-up questions. I was also informed that a OB/Gyn will be joining the practice this fall, so I’ll have a one stop shop for all my medical needs.
