70 East Walton Residences

We absolutely loved staying here while our place was being repaired after a flood. The condo was so nice and in such great condition, exactly what we needed. The staff was even more amazing, always helpful to us and so sweet to our dog Captain! Nick even treated her to some doggie cupcakes so, needless to say, she was not happy to leave :)
Thank you for such a great experience while we were out of our home. We are very grateful! Highly recommend for any short or long term stay, great location as well.

Due to a flood in my condo, I had to move out while the interior was dried out, mitigated for mold and reconstructed. Fortunately for me my homeowner’s insurance paid for me to live in a short term corporate apartment for three months while this work was being done. Though it is unsettling to have your belongings in storage and live in temporary quarters, my short term abode ended up being the silver lining in my three months away from home.
I had a one bedroom, one and a half bath apartment at 70 E Walton, just west of Michigan Avenue that was nicer than my own condo. That was not even the best part. The staff at 70 E Walton was so welcoming and friendly and made me feel right at home for my entire stay. Tola, the manager often asked me if I was enjoying my stay and was there anything that she could help with and even intervened on my behalf when I mentioned there were some noisy tenants across the hall from me. Martha, one of the front desk persons walked me over to the parking garage next door and helped me get parking for the time I was there. Kevin, another front desk person helped me get my TV prepared for playing DVDs. Charles, the building’s maintenance man was always available to help or repair something. The entire staff including Maria, Maribelle, Alex and Nick were very friendly and helpful.
Finally, as I was prepared to move back into my remodeled condo, I found out that the construction crew needed a couple extra days before I could move back in, and Tola graciously allowed me to extend my stay by a very important two extra days. If ever I find myself in a similar situation where I need temporary quarters, I will check into 70 E Walton.

Needed a place to live for 3 – 4 months while relocating to Chicago. Although pricey, 70 E. Walton turned out to be perfect. Best location possible, very comfy apt and excellent, accommodating staff. Terrific experience.
