I am 6 feet tall so every pair of pants needs lengthening and every jacket needs the sleeves lengthened and the waist dropped. Yelena and her team of outstanding seamstresses have been my salvation. There isn’t a challenge they haven’t met in 19 years. One time I was on my way to a holiday party and my satin form fitting dress tore, I drove straight to Yelena’s in tears and 15 minutes later I was on my way and you could not tell a repair had been made. Another time i took in a favorite pair of faded jeans that were on their last legs and they managed to piece them back together with the same care they took on my Armani jackets. They have reconstructed coats, extended cuffs on blouse sleeves, moved buttons and button holes and on occasion recreated my favorite pieces of clothing in new fabrics. They made a custom designed black linen suit that I loved and wore for years. Their craftsmanship and creative solutions are of the highest standards and the icing on the cake is how well you are cared for while in their shop; everyone is friendly, kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend Yelena Couture!

I’ve been referred to Yelena Couture by a friend and was at first skeptical given the reviews but decided to give it a try knowing that my friend is very picky. I’ve asked Yelena to hem pants and take in a few skirts. As Yelena was taking my measurements she noticed that one of the pants had crooked stitching and offered to fix it as a courtesy to new customers. The skirts were tailored with precision and accuracy and since then I brought designer dresses and jackets for alterations. I’ve had the best experience with them, always on time, accurate and clean. I would highly recommend them!
