My mom was sent here on a recommendation from beth israel. You’d think being in chestnut hill it would be a good place. Wrong! The staff was lazy and ignored the patients and although they claim to be a dementia unit, nobody there seems to know how to handle dementia patients. They act like they have never had one there. Patients are left alone in a room all day sitting in there own waste while the aides stand there arguing who should go in the room. The nurses are untrained also. We couldnt get my mom out of there quick enough! The building may look nice… but dont be fooled. It is a house or horrors!

This place is the pits, the elderly mother received absolutely no rehab whatsoever. However, she ended up with a stroke and a fall out of the bed even though she was bedridden. Then they lied about the fact that there was sometype of personal alarm on her body, which is hogwash. Their Nursing staff is untrained and non-​caring. the head doctor Virginia should be sued. She was prescribed the most potent of drugs that kept her drugged all day every day. They claimed that she was getting rehab everyday but wasn’t getting any at all but was clearly being charged for this
