I had an appointment booked on a Thursday weeks in advance for 6pm for Meghan. I called around 2:30 that day to see if they had any manicure appointments around 4pm to try and get a manicure before my cut/color/wax at 6. They said 4pm was fine for a manicure. I drove 30 minutes from work and arrived at 4pm to find that the stylist Meghan is no longer with the salon. I didn’t really get an answer why, everyone was acting a little weird and sketchy about the whole situation. I asked why they didn’t call me seeing my appointment on the books and they didn’t have a good answer. The girl at the front said when I called earlier that day, she thought my appointment was with with another girl named Meghan. After finding this out, it is obviously too late to make other arrangements or go somewhere else. Several stylists were gone for the day or were busy and couldn’t take my appointment, and the owner offered to set an appointment over the next few days. I was going out of town the next day, and that was the reason I made the Thursday appointment in the first place. Shana worked me in around another client, and was actually very nice and very good, maybe the only bright spot of the whole experience. I was originally supposed to get my extensions colored as well but Shana was unable to do that since I was being worked in. There simply wasn’t enough time for any extras. I understand that people come and go, sometimes unexpectedly, but a salon that charges prices on the higher side and claims to be a «top of the line» salon should have handled this situation a little better in my opinion.

I would not go back here. The spa was dirty, it had so much hair caked up on the power strips it grossed me out. The service was ok but my hairdresser kept running out to sneak cigarettes in between processing and smelled of cigarette smoke. The manicure was good but nothing special. Though the polish lasted a long time. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I first went to this salon, following my hair stylist(Tasha) over from another salon(closed) in Ellisville. The first time I went there, I was given a full tour of the facility, with an explanation of all the services available(no «sales talk»!). When you arrive, they greet you very warmly, offer to take your coat and get you a drink(complimentary: coffee, water, soda — even wine!). They have a lovely waiting area with a fireplace and ample comfortable seating. I’d have to TRY to come up with something negative to say about this salon. Tasha is an exceptionally personable young woman who really listens to what you’d like done with your hair; she does a wonderful job with hair extensions, too.

I went to this salon on a whim and I am so glad I did! The receptionists were very friendly and pleasant to talk with on the phone. My stylist, Meghan Noakes, seemed very passionate about hair and listened to my ideas and made suggestions. She did an excellent job with my cut and color. The prices are very reasonable– actually less expensive than my previous salon. On top of that, she did not pressure me to buy any products(which can be irritating). I might have found a stylist for life!
