Schnucks Woods Mill

This is a nice location. I love the service, selection AND their grille food. I work right next door so this is one of my favorite places for lunch.

This may well be my favorite Schmucks location in the STL area. They are always friendly, have a fairly large selection of their various offerings and their prices are about as expected. Access into and out of their parking lot is also better than at several of their other stores.
I especially like their location. They are right across the street from Whole Paycheck so we can do our grocery shopping at each without feeling like we are dragging our butts all over West Co. We generally get the fresh meats/​seafood/​bakery items across the street and then go to Schmucks for the dry goods, cans, and fresh fruit/​vegetable requirements.
They also have what I consider to be the very best grocery store chocolate long john in the area.

This store has become a regular part of our weekend routine of grocery shopping. We grab some of the specialty Items from Whole Foods and head over here for the remainder of our needs.
So far, they haven’t let us down. Their selection is good and prices are on par with other chains. Love their donuts too!
WalMart screwed the pooch one too many times and Schnucks recently picked up our pharmacy business. So far, so good!

One of the nicest Schnucks in terms of product in the chain. This was a regularly frequented Schnucks on my way home from work before I changed jobs. The real difference from other locations is the fresh foods. The new Manchester store behind West County Mall is nice all around, but this place is low on looks and high on quality.
The produce is impressive, always fresh and a huge selection. The meat and seafood the same. They have a shrimp bar too with different flavors of cooked shrimp for immeidate consumption. In general, some of the hard to find items at other locations are here. I’m typically a Dierberg’s guy, but his is one of my favorites.
On the other hand, avoid the Schnucks in High Ridge. Unfortunately this is the closest grocery store to me, so it will do, but definitely falls short on selection and quality. Boo, rednecks love good quality food too!

I’ve been here so many times since my last review. It’s become a staple place, since it’s close to Ace Hardware and Target.
My most recent visit was for very specific things. (I guess all grocery-​shopping trips should include a list.)
I cruised down the aisles, found what I needed, did self check-​out, and was on my way. I don’t know what you could want that they don’t have.

Good schnucks. Great people. The people make this place worth frequenting everyday. I can always get in and out quickly but I do avoid the 4−6p rush hour on weekdays.
The coffee bar is phenomenal, Pam couldn’t be a better barista and manager. Tracey is the best checker to frequent with Mary closing in on him quickly.
I love the US Bank customer service, great product at the meat counter from Big A and Davey Boy.
I also use the pharmacy and can’t forget how wonderful they are either. I hate to move any farther away from this great place of convenience.

This is a solid Schnucks. It is funny because it was the closest grocery when I grew up so I have seen it through the years.
The remodel was needed, especially since the huge shopping center went up next door.
Everyone is very friendly and the liquor department is so much better after the remodel. They also did a great job with the produce and deli sections as well.

This is a pretty consistent, well-​stocked Schnucks. It’s near my work, and they remodeled it in the last few years to compete with a new Whole Foods. It has an excellent wine, beer & liquor department, which should be enough said. However, the salad bar is typically quite fresh and has a good variety. It’s a pretty easy location to get to & has ample parking.
Oh, and they are sufficiently staffed, which counts for a lot.

This was my first Schnucks that I have grown to love. It was right across from my old building. I would walk there for lunch almost every day. The food selection here is very good, and the staff is very friendly. I know most of them by name.
And a side note for all you single fella’s out there. This Schnucks was rated in the top 5 best places to meet single women in St. Louis a few years back. I can see why, always lots of pretty little ladies strolling about. It is a good call for sure!

I have never used the pharmacy but the store is nice. it’s a huge store. It has taken our local chains years in CA to build stores as nice as this. The last 5 years or so they are showing up a little.
Lots of cooked food ready to be purchased and taken home.
