I have been ordering from this location for years. I love that delivery never takes too long and they always try and find a coupon for me when I order.

I had one of their lunch specials — baked ravioli with salad. The baked ravioli was pretty good but it did taste fried and not really fresh. The salad was pretty basic as far as salads go with seemingly fresh iceberg lettuce. This place isn’t listed as one of the greatest places I’ve eaten at but it did it’s job since I was hungry.

On Saturday, 3÷12÷2016 we used the internet to order three large pizzas. Order placed at 6:44 pm. Estimated time of delivery 7:29 pm. Actual time of delivery 7:45 pm. If you get Imo’s pizza and it’s fresh and hot, it’s pretty good. If it gets cold and dries out is inedible. That what happened on Saturday night. Ordered three large pizzas. They arrived 15 minutes late and the pizza was cold and dried out. This is not about the pizza being late. That happens on a Saturday night. Provel is not a very forgiving cheese. Once it has dried out forget about it. After choking on my second slice I decided to go to their web site to give some constructive criticism. There is no way to use the web site to comment. The web site lacked that feature. Figures. The only recourse was to call the store directly. The young lady that answered the phone was very gracious and said«We’re so sorry» at least a half dozen times. That was nice. She then offered me a free pizza for next time.(I wasn’t calling for a free pizza.) I explained that we had just received 3 large pizzas and they were all sub par. She put me on hold.(I think she thought I was going to ask for a refund.) The manager got on the phone, didn’t say he was sorry, he did start out asking if we eaten any of the pizza. I explained that we had guests over, everyone was very hungry and yes we had eaten some of the pizza. The manager then started in explaining their refund policy. It sounded like he had done this many times before. I never really asked for a refund or a free pizza. I said I was just giving feedback. I was going nowhere with this fellow. I asked who the store owner was and was given the name. I asked that the store owner call me on Monday morning. I’ll wager he never calls. We were regular monthly customers for the last 20 years. Never complained, ever. I don’t think we’ll patronize this store ever again. Too many other good choices.

This is the thinnest thin crust pizza I’ve ever had. It was just the right amount of crispy. Ordered mushroom and sausage, cheese and pepperoni and tried them all. Winner was mushroom and sausage. I hate when pizza places use canned mushrooms and these appeared fresh. I may be particular about mushrooms, but cheese I am not and I liked the provel cheese in the same way I like the radioactive colored orange cheese on Snyder of Berlin cheese curls and melty Velveeta. I’m not a «cheese» snob. The house salad was just iceburg, a couple of shreds of cabbage and carrots and more Provel. I’m not sure that was actually a bad thing. As far as pizza goes, I’ve never had st Louis style, but it was pretty darn tasty. Delivery was there when they said they would be there and the guy who took our order over the phone friendly, they remembered all the napkins, plates and forks requested for our work lunch. Their service was as smooth as the provel cheese(or «Pasteurized processed cheese» product if you wanna get all technical).

Way too expensive for what you get and that is a nominally good pizza. People in St Louis wake up this provel stuff is gross!

First time eating at IMO’S and I can agree with other reviews I have read, pizza was great however the teenage workers behing the counter provide sub par service which included dirty tables that will only be wiped down if you ask.

We order food last Saturday and we was on time to pick up. The food was not ready, only pizza ready, so after we back home, food was already cold.(they are not busy that time).we tried to call manager to tell him what’s going on and we need hot food next time. he just give us all excuse… I don’t think we will go to that place again

Chef salad — iceberg lettuce with sliced cold cuts. No egg. No bacon. Only a glimpse of possible vegetables. Cheese pizza — nothing like a traditional pizza. Imagine creating a pizza with American cheese and Velveeta. A suitable college dorm meal. Veggie pizza — that’s where the veggies went! Finally got something close to expectation here. Bottom line: this will stave off an unpleasant starvation death but it won’t rank as one of your better culinary experiences.

Well! I’m from St Louis so I inherently love Imos pizza! This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at any location. From the minute I greeted the teenage girl behind the counter, and received no reply I knew this was a less than Imos, Imos. The air conditioning was on the fritz, but I understand that. It was the cussing in regards to that by the manager that was negative. I asked the man if it was his place, he said flatly«no it’s my cousins». Just a bad place to eat good pizza!

I ordered their spaghetti w/meatballs, Toasted Ravioli and House Salad. In all the food lacked flavor in the sense that some salt would have gone a long way especially the meat sauce that was the same for the spaghetti and toasted ravioli where it was watery and did not have much flavor and the meatballs were rubbery from being overcooked. The toasted ravioli was dry and had a slight bit of a topping that seemed it was suppose to be some kind toasted cheese and the filling was slightly better than the meat sauce. The house salad was simply a lot of iceberg lettuce with a good amount of cheese but it was not mozzarella or parmesan cheese. I ended tasting everything and going to sleep hungry. I ordered from here seeing that it was local favorite seems like the locals don’t like food to taste good.

When you give someone a total after they make a delivery order and the bill turns out to be $ 7 more due to fees and whatever you should include that when you give them the total.

I LOVEIMOS! I crave this pizza all the time and get it every time I’m in town. I usually order just the cheese and house salad. It’s a true St. Louis must-try. Full disclosure, my husband is not from the area and is not a fan.

Service is fine The problem is the pizza lol What is wrong with this city… how are you people proud of «st louis style pizza» if this is actually st louis style pizza… Thin nasty overcooked crust, gross processed tasting cheese a half step above velveeta… Yuck, never again I’d prefer a frozen pizza above this st louis style stuff. Provel is gross, yuck, disgusting, anyone that likes this instead of mozzarella is so confused and clueless it hurts.

Okay, but not the best pizza I have had(see my other reviews), but it is definitely one of the better pizzas in the STL area. It is so much better than regular chain pizzas. You should really try it to see if you like the provel STL style, and Imo’s knows how to do it right. Thin crust and cut into squares, and very tasty. The Garden salad with provel wasn’t bad either. I would try it again when in the area.

Still the worst Pizza I’ve ever eaten. My wife likes it so once a year I give it a try again… and once a year I can’t believe I how incredibly bad it is. So many good places to get Pizza in St. Louis but this is not one of them.

This place rocks. Love st Louis style. The cheese is amazing. Get the salad and the pizza. Service here is friendly. Don’t just get delivery sit and stay. Food comes out faster too. I highly recommend.

Its almost not fair for me to rate this place as I am not a fan of the Provel cheese that St. Louis is known for. Being an outsider I’m not accustomed to it and didn’t enjoy it at all. However service was good. The niche is the cheese and unfortunately I’m not a fan. Pass the fried ravioli.

5+/5 stars — Imo’s St. Louis style pizza is simply the best pizza on the planet. New York & Chicago are better known around the world for pizza but their distinctiveness really comes down to how big can you cut the slice and how thick can you make the crust. St. Louis style pizza is both unique and delectable. Super thin crust, provel cheese, no edge. Simply the best.

Worst imos pizza. Have tried it six times but never again. Poorly made skimpy and not cooked correctly? It is so sad to have a business and not care about your product

I like Imo’s pizza well enough. Dropped by for lunch. This a nice, lunch counter kind of place. The lady who helped me was trying hard. The rest of the staff seemed indifferent or a bit aloof. Lunch special was okay. Pretty fast.

I LOVE the chef salad. It’s a boatload of food stuffed into a lovely recyclable container: ham, turkey, hard-boiled egg, lettuce, salami, tomato, mushrooms, red onion, green pepper, roast beef, provel, carrot, purple cabbage. I add black olives. .. YUM! And their bleu cheese dressing is divine. This always goes for two meals. I also adore the Imo’s Extra Special Sandwich: roast beef, ham, salami, provel, lettuce, tomato, pickle and dressing on Italian bread. You can get all their sandwiches hot or cold. I like this one hot. I’ve never eaten in. .. usually pick-up, but sometimes delivery.

St Louis style pizza. Thin crust with provel cheese(a mix of cheddar, swiss, and provolone). You like it or you don’t. Either way you’ll offend the locals if you don’t try it at least once.

They sure have a weird version of what a pizza is in St Louis, but at least at Imo’s they do a really good job of weird. Sauce is almost nonexistent and the cheese is Velveeta-esque, but somehow this combo comes together to make a pretty darn good pizza thingy. I’m confused, but happy!

Craving pizza since I’ve had my extended stay at the wonderful Homewood Suites, I decided to find a pizza place. Thanks to Mr. Garmin, I found Imo’s within one and a half miles. It’s in the next shopping area, to the west of Trader Joe’s. There are Imo“s throughout St. Louis. There’s one, also, that I know of, in Blue Springs, MO. Where else can specials, of these excellent prices be found? Certainly not at the pizza places advertised frequently on television. This pizza place is nearly hidden, tucked into a pretty cool shopping area. Imo’s has lunch specials all day long. My 12 inch, fully loaded pizza was only $ 10.00. I didn’t expect it to be so inexpensive. This is a very small pizza place. Heck, to me, the smaller the better. It looks kind of chain-ish inside, but I think this area is kind of new. I thought it was cute on the inside, with both booths and tables. The floor is very clean. The colors of the restaurant are green and red. Italian decorations, sit on a shelf. I ordered, and got my pizza pretty quick. The crust is thin, but not like a cracker, more like Three Guy’s Pizza in Chicago. It comes in a box with the green St. Louis Arch on it. The topping is wowmendous with tons. Just tons. And delicious! Just wonderful good. I don’t know which is my favorite part of the topping. I think it’s the sauce. Imo’s has other items, and also sells their dressing… I don’t know what makes it special, but I’m tempted to go back buy some for the trip home.
