I was in the area on business and found this mom & pop shop with hopes that the food would be something to remember. I ordered the oyster dinner that came with hush puppies, some veggies and a baked potato. The oysters were perfectly cooked but over breaded. Veggies were flavorless and hush puppies were very greasy and over cooked. And lastly, the baked potato was microwaved. I wouldn’t return for a 2nd try.

Nice little family type if place. My mom and I went for lunch. It wasn’t busy, we sat immediately and our orders were taken promptly. Loads of stuff in the menu, lots of good comfort foods and sandwiches. My mom got the French Dip and I got the BLT on sour dough. It wasn’t her first time there and she knew she’d like it and it didn’t disappoint her. My BLT sammich was terrific, it was actually served club-style with 3 pieces of bread — I took out the centerpiece to save in calories, so I could have some fries. The fries were pretty good. The folks there all seemed super nice and you could tell it was a locals place, the staff seemed to know most everyone. That’s always sorta cool. Ummmm — think that’s all I want to say. I’d go back again!

Nothing special. I have eaten here twice for a going away luncheon. I ordered a tuna steak sandwich and fries. The fries were not hot. My sandwich came out without the requested condiments. The sandwich was good though. I also had the shrimp fajita before… It was good, but most of the peppers were kind of burnt. The service was blah…

Service slow and haphazard, food mediocre, menu wrong. No apologies from servers, never come here again. Also bad scallops.

I come to Chester regularly and decided to try this restaurant. Overall it’s a decent place to eat. I was seated promptly and everyone there was very friendly. The food was generally good, but a little over-cooked. I plan to return on a future trip and if so will update my post.

First and last time I will visit. The hostess was not there when we walked in. And we waited to be noticed and seated for a while. Everyone’s food came out at a different time. Mine came out last. I ordered a cheeseburger and it took over 45 minutes to receive. They weren’t that busy, but my other two friends were about finished with their meal when mine finally arrived.

Today was our first and last time eating here. It’s been 5 hours since lunch and my stomach still hurts. Too much fatty cooking.

My son came in from Grambling State for a visit and we brought him here. Brock was our waiter and his recommendation were spot on! His susgestion of the fried green beans, OUTSTANDING! His susgestion of the Cuban sandwich, PERFECTION! And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, he suggested Momma Cindy HOMEMADE Cheesecake… ladies and gentlemen words can not describe a party in your mouth like Momma Cindy’s Cheesecake. All I can say is TWO slices!!! HEAVEN must be like this.

Visiting Chester to see my boyfriend. His family and I ordered from this restaurant and it was pretty decent. I got the chicken tenders, Caesar salad, and the loaded baked potato. The chicken tenders seemed very fresh and full of chicken and not just breading. The salad was tasty and since we ordered our food for pick up, all the condiments that were supposed to go on my potato were in one container. Which was weird but it did the job. Boyfriend got the philly cheese steak and said it was good. Boyfriends dad got the blt and he said it was delicious. Very good establishment all in all.

I had the best $ 4 buffalo chicken salad today for lunch. Unfortunately RBG charged me $ 9.00 for it. Had it been an adult portion it would have been great. I was there with co-workers so I didn’t complain to the manager. If you like small portions than this is your restaurant. Taste was good but don’t believe the pictures in the menu. They do not represent what you will actually get.

The hubby and I normally go to River’s Bend every Thursday night for Long Island Ice Tea night. Lucky for us, this great place is nearby. Hands down, the best Long Island Ice Tea I’ve had and I’ve had more than my share! We decided to go last night because house repairs left us without water and other amenities and we needed a distraction. This place amazes me with its consistency in food and service. The teriyaki wings are so yummy. The house salad here is unlike any other. Not just a hunk of lettuce with dressing but cherry tomatoes, onions, croutons, boiled egg, etc. The prime rib special on Saturdays is amazing. Not to mention, when they see us coming our drinks automatically appear. Brock, Jess, Ben and everyone else keep us coming back.

The buffalo chicken salad was good but the entrée salad was the size of side salad. I felt like I needed to order a second for a normal meal.

Attended a x-mas party there and the salad they provided was turning brown and spoiling. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the other quick meals(sandwiches) are standard across the board. Beer selection(always gotta mention the beer) is limited to the standard stuff found anywhere, nothing to write home about.

Was driving through the area and needed something to eat, this is where I landed. When I pulled in, there was a rowdy group out on the patio drinking and having a good time, but the restaurant was quiet and dark. Which was fine with me, I didn’t come for a party, I just wanted a sandwich. Like usual, I headed straight to the restroom to wash my hands and see how clean it was.(This is my reference point for kitchen cleanliness, as they are typically the same standards). It was spotless! So, the friendly waitress seated me and my friend promptly, got us drinks and up to speed on the menu, specials, etc. I ordered the French Dip with home cut fries and iced tea, my buddy ordered the grilled tuna sandwich and fried onion straws(or whatever they were called, basically onion rings, but not cut in circles) and a beer. The French Dip was the perfect amount of beef and bubbly melted cheese on a crispy french roll. It came with the usual bowl of au jus which I dipped my sandwich in, then proceeded to drink like nobody was watching. It was delicious. I’m sure it was just the normal beef bullion, but it tasted better than most and I enjoyed it. The fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. They were perfect! My friend however, grumbled about the tuna he requested ‘med-rare’ had arrived ‘well done’. He ate it simply because he was too hungry to send it back. He said it was good, just overcooked and not worth making an issue over. I tasted the onion strips, they were good, had a nice crunch. Recommended for casual family meals, after-work drinks, birthday parties, lunch, weeknight dinner.

Dinner was good but could stand a little more seasoning. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant was very clean which is a plus. Great family atmosphere and our waitress Lauren was extremely nice.

My girlfriend and I came here as a second choice for a double date schpeal we had considering the other place we wanted to eat was apparently rented out for a private party. We could smell the grill and I glanced at the reviews and figured we can’t miss! We were sorely mistaken. The wait staff is pretty clueless on how to actually take someones order and how to actually bring them the food they ordered. We had a table for four, the set up is… well it’s not a pretty place. Not the most updated seating arrangement, but sometimes that can be misleading. We ordered our drinks and waited for 15 minutes for two Yuenglings(which the waitress could not pronounce if her life depended on it, not saying that’s bad, just thought it was funny.) We then ordered an appetizer that was called the Combo I believe, it said you get potato skins, chicken fingers, cheese sticks and wings. Which was alright, the potato skins sucked though, not a lot of bacon and it was a halved potato, not like the usual small halved potatoes this was huge, also included was two chicken fingers, three cheese sticks, which I guess were the cheap frozen kind because there was zero cheese in them and three wings. It was so strange, you would think maybe, four of each or something that makes sense. Then finally we ordered our meal, I got the ribs but they screwed up my order, they did not bring me my salad at all or my vegetables. I told the waitress and received my «California Blend» which apparently consists of a few pieces of cauliflower, broccoli, and a single baby carrot and crap ton of onions… awesome… Baked potato was fine, so were the ribs but the BBQ sauce was pretty generic. All in all, there was nothing this placed delivered that I couldn’t get elsewhere for cheaper and better quality, honestly anyone could have made a better meal at home; literally no reason to eat here. The waitstaff didn’t seem to know what they were doing, and the food was overly expensive. Almost $ 4 for friggin’ generic dinner rolls?! Definitely not a place to go to for dinner, would have had better meal at Sheetz.

I’d really love to give this place more than 3 stars, but you can’t overcook my tuna steak and expect me to give you more than 3. I would say that it has the potential to be more at the very least. My main issue is that I ordered a med-rare tuna steak and expected to have more than just a slight pink in the middle. Otherwise, the veggies and service were good. I had gone on a weeknight after a round of golf. Tired and hungry, the tuna steak would have hit the spot if it hadn’t been over cooked. The service kind of seemed like a round robin since it appeared that who ever was closest or just happened to be walking by was checking on my golfing buddy and I. They were not over attentive, so I guess it worked out. Like I said, the place seems to have the potential to me, just missed the mark on my first visit.

Not bad. Was there only one waitress there that day? She was running around like a madwoman, taking people to their tables while carrying empty dishes, etc. I felt bad for her. But she somehow still managed to be super attentive to us, and brought everything out/refilled water/checked in on us with scary efficiency. AND she was friendly. Best. Waitress. Ever. My co-worker was buying, so I just went with a simple $ 5 chicken salad wrap(originally a sandwich, but you can request any sandwich to be made into a wrap) with a side of potato salad. They give you a lot of options for your sides, from healthy to unhealthy, which I liked. The chicken salad was nothing to write home about. I did like that they grilled the wrap a little bit so that it was soft but firm, if you know what I mean. No major complaints, really. It was a good place for us co-workers to grab a casual lunch.
