The service here is really, really pleasant! Unlike the other chain paint-your-own-pottery place in the area, they do more service here, and are much nicer! You write your paint choices on the thingy and they get you the paint(and refills) and most things you need. Even brought me some sponges for my stamps. They have big, fun tables and the shop is really wide open with some good tunes on the radio. Definitely got my relaxation paint on today! They also do some glass work. I’ll update my review in a week when I get my pottery back! If they do a good job glazing and it’s on time +1 star! Update: Glaze looks amazing! Wish I was a better artist…

An awesome pottery painting place. I’ve been there several times with my kids. I like how it’s open and it hasn’t ever been over crowded when I’ve gone. Kind of pricey but worth the money to take the kiddos every so often!

I’ve been here several times with my kids to paint pieces, We usually come as part of a Girl Scout troop event. The owners have always been great with the kids. They explained the entire process to us and gave us pointers on how to paint. This last visit was a Ladies’ Night. We all had SO much fun! There were snacks provided and we were able to bring our own wine. Check out their calendar for special events. They have kids’ movie nights, military discount days, ladies’ night, family night, etc. They have a ton of different types of pottery and glass in a range of prices.

Went here today with some friends. I like painting pottery. Prices are $$$$. Two pieces cost us 69.00.

Glazenfyre is an pottery painting place that has gotten best in Chesapeake several years in a row. The people there are very nice and polite and the place is very clean. I had my sons birthday party there recently and everything went smoothly. They have a separate room for parties and different packages to choose from. You pay half up front and the rest after the party. My only suggestion is that they extend the party time by a half a hour. Rather then 1.5 hours, make it a solid 2. Most of the kids who have parties at pottery places are very young and easily distractible and they don’t switch gears very well going from one thing to another.
Other then that suggestion… I highly recommend them!
