Was looking for some advice for my new yard and pond and I found this place on my way back from work. They have wide selection of plants, shrubs, and gardening supplies from soil, mulch, stones. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and especially Jeff who was very helpful, giving me useful info on what to use for my yard and ideas. Definitely will re-​visit again!

They have so much to choose from and a great variety of everything! If they don’t have it or it’s out of stock, they will order it.
Everything I have purchased has been healthy and hardy. Great advise given and all my questions answered.

Largest independent nursery in the area. Very large selection of trees as well as soil, mulch and decorative gravel. I visited last year looking for a tree that I didn’t know the name of. The gentleman at the counter was kind enough to try and determine what kind of tree it was. He finally found it after several minutes of looking through a book. This is good customer service in my opinion. The staff will always offer to bring your plant selection up to the front and place in your vehicle. Prices are average for the area and I like supporting local businesses. Highly recommend this place.

A bit of a drive, no matter where you’re from, but well worth it. A great selection of plants; a few natives. Excellent selection of fruits and veggies, many heirloom varieties. Staff has always been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. We have purchased several plants here, all with good results. They have provided the advise we needed to keep our garden healthy and well. They are a great resource. They have a HUGE selection of trees, fruit trees, shrubs, and ROSES. I bought my first rose bushes here and it has turned me into an addict. I have bought most of my roses here and they are some of my favorites. They have the largest and best quality rose selection in our area. You can special order bare root roses in the winter. Towards the end of the summer (August?) they have great deals on roses, usually buy 3 get the 4th free. If you see something you like, I wouldn’t wait for the promo. Last year there wasn’t much left, which is why I ordered bare root roses for this year. We also ordered marathon sod through them. The prices are great for a local nursery.

Overpriced and extremely bad customer service! The older white gentlemen that works there, I believe he is one of the owners, is an absolute jerk! I’m not the only one that thinks so either. I’ve talked to several people there that have the same opinion. He treats you like you are a complete idiot. I spent nearly $ 1000 there and when I had one tree die, he treated me like I knew nothing about planting trees. If you like to pay way too much for plants and want to be treated like a second class citizen, go here. Otherwise, I recommend Brookside Nursery right down the street.

Terrific little nursery out in the middle of nowhere. I can’t give five stars to any nursery that doesn’t have some area dedicated to native/​sustainable planting, but Cherry Valley comes very close. Excellent berry stock selection, and knowledgeable staff who were ready to help at the drop of a hat. I guess we’ll be here a bit more often now that Newell’s is closing…
