Love Feng Shui, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I’ve been to the buffet several times, and I love that they offer maki.

Came here for the lunch buffet on a Saturday. Historically I’ve gone to China Blossom in North Andover for the Chinese buffet, but this place was a bit closer. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything special either. The offerings felt scant to me, but perhaps that was because it was lunch time. There were a few token«dim sum» items by the head of the buffet, but I use that phrase loosely, as it all tasted like reheated frozen food(and the sizes were pretty tiny). The coconut shrimp was pretty goopy as well, too much sauce for my liking. The best part to me was the tasty Jasmine tea! The interior was cool, it has a chill vibe to it. I’d be willing to come back for a regular meal, or perhaps the expanded dinner buffet. But for now, this just didn’t excite me much.

Went there at 3:30pm for lunch, so the ambiance was quiet and relaxed. The server was helpful, but mixed up our chicken order. The crunchy pad thai was mediocre but the portions were large. My sister really disliked her sweetened iced tea. The spicy tuna sushi was a nice surprise, however. I was disappointed that they did not have mochi for dessert. Would return at an off peak hour for lunch.

First of all, I absolutely love hibachi! I will definitely want to come back here when I’m craving it, which is often. The atmosphere is really modern and clean. I’ve only eaten upstairs so I can’t speak for the downstairs or buffet. This is only for the hibachi upstairs. The food was cooked perfectly. It comes with the normal shrimp appetizer, miso soup, salad, vegetables, rice and the entrée. I ordered filet and chicken and they were cooked perfectly, so tender. The only thing I wish they had was garlic butter. I love to have butter added to my rice after cooking. I’ve only ever had that at one steakhouse. But that’s not enough to deter me. I’ll be back!

I have tried both lunch and dinner buffets here with my family. This is one of few places that are decent. Most of dishes on the buffet menu are very fresh and service is very good. Price is also fairly reasonable.

had dinner Friday night at their main dining room. spacious! the Feng Shui sampler for two was very plentiful and the small bowl of white rice was huge too. insider tip: if you order a mimosa, along side the drink they will bring you the rest of the small bottle of Prosecco which it will fill your champagne flute two more times so at the end of the day you are getting three drinks for the price of one.

We came here once and had a wonderful hibachi meal. My husband is a vegetarian and loves a veggie hibachi with tofu. Without tofu it’s a pretty bland meal, not filling, and not worth the price. I got a pricey steak and scallop dinner. We came back again on New Year’s thinking he would get the same order and the chef refused to even acknowledge we had ordered a tofu hibachi meal a few months earlier. He said«you didn’t get tofu here before» and kept repeating this despite us pointing out the exact server who had taken our order and the chef. It was one of the most bizarre experiences we’d ever had. We figured we’d give it one more shot and called tonight to ask if they would do tofu on the grill and they said«no», which is fine, but we’ll never be back and they get a one star review.

This is a pretty good sized restaurant, with lots of seating and a full bar. Food portions are beyond generous and the staff were mostly attentive.

OK so I have always loved this restaurant since it’s opening but something is going on here. New chef? Change of ownership? Take out tonight was flat and boring. The usual hot n’ sour soup I love was neither hot nor sour, blah and completely lacked any flavor. We ordered the Kung Pao chicken, wide noodles and dried string beans. Everyone commented that every dish lacked any flavor at all. The Kung Pao uses to be awesome, full of spice and that little kick. The potstickers were also not the same we have had in the past, these were much smaller and lacked flavor. This is a huge disappointment and I hoping it is just a fluke. We have tried other places in town and always came back here. However, Feng Shui may fall second to these other places now. Unfortunately I have heard similar experiences from others too. Please bring back the flavor and zest of the dishes we have enjoyed for years. Otherwise you may be selling cheeseburgers and pizza on the menu soon too.

Our search is over. After the closing of our favorite Chinese Restaurant in the Merrimack Valley a few years ago, Ling a Garden n Dracut, MA, we have been trying to find a worthy replacement. We have gone to many restaurants in the area. Some were good. Some were okay. And others were flat out bad. We have now gone to Feng Shui a handful of times and were very happy with each visit. Everything we have tried was fresh and flavorful. Appetizers, fried rice, lo mein, entrees, soups, everything. Even my daughter was very happy with their sushi, which I can’t comment on myself. They are a little out of the way for us. But for fresh satisfying Chinese cuisine, Feng Shui is worth the trip and is now the go to place for us.

A bit overpriced, but good food. I do wish they would vary the foods offered in the lunch buffet. Seems to be the same.every.time. I think they charged $.75 for tea but it was very good. Nice décor.

It’s got to a point now that I pretty much only go here for their all you can eat buffets. They’ve got a very nice selection and it all comes out fresh because of the specific times they have for the buffet. The presentation of the place is very nice and neat. Unique and has a modern feel. The star was knocked off because their upstairs hibachi was okay and their sushi selection was OK. Felt a bit over priced. But their buffet makes me not want to go to any other buffet in the area

I don’t know what to say about Feng Shui that hasn’t already been said over and over, except that it lives up to the hype. It is a family favorite. The Sunday buffet is outstanding– not the usual offerings at all(and I loathe buffets). Service is excellent and the space is modern and chic. If you are in the area, I highly recommend it. Note: 18% gratuity is added to all checks for parties of 6 or more– even the buffet– and it’s not clear on the check. We had a mix up with this and management took care of it a couple of days later without any hassle.

The decoration is very nice, modern and hip. Definitely a spot you would see me hanging around and grabbing drinks at. Food was delicious, and the customer service too. I’m not sure if they deliver, but it would be nice.

My husband Jim and I ordered from Feng Shui for the first time tonight and were pleasantly surprised. We got BBQ spare ribs on the bone, Steamed Shumai, both the Japanese and Chinese style(Jim liked both, I liked the smaller Japanese dumplings better) we got General Gau’s chicken, Coconut Shrimp(easy on the sauce as it is very sweet but has a nice flavor) and Mongolian beef. Everything was very tasty and not at all salty. The only thing that disappointed me was the lack of beef in the Mongolian beef, what was there was yummy. I got my favorite eel sushi, it needed more sauce but was good. We have enough left over for dinner tomorrow night and will be ordering from there again.

I was visiting the area for work and staying in a nearby hotel. While heading to the office, someone pointed out Feng Shui and mentioned that a person they were sitting next to on their flight raved about the place. I was curious but when I went online and saw their menu, I have to admit I wasn’t impressed. I made an assumption that it was going to be a mediocre«asian fusion» experience. So I just filed away the information and didn’t think about it. But, by the 2nd day of work meetings and having eaten a lot of the typical american fare, I decided I wanted something different. Another work friend was on the same page about that and we decided to check it out. When we walked in, we were both pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! There was a nice ambiance and it was obvious by the décor, lighting and demeanor of the hostess that this was a place you might make reservations. I thought about using the Unilocal check-in feature deal, but the hibachi grill was going to be a 30 minute wait. I was too hungry to wait around. We got seated and ordered. We shared the deep fried crab, Beijing duck, a few sushi rolls, the uni nigiri. I also happened to order green tea with brown rice, or what I know as genmaicha. So imagine my surprise when I got a teapot with green tea and a little bowl of brown rice. :) I was like, what? Anyway, I suppose this is a literal interpretation of green tea with brown rice. It was funny and kinda set the tone for a fun dinner. Naturally, I didn’t eat the brown rice because I was expecting a different tea. But, that’s ok. Everything else was really good. Overall, the food and service was good. I would recommend dinner here. There was also a good cocktail, wine and beer menu but I was not drinking this evening.

AMAZING Pad Thai! I am a vegetarian and find it sometimes challenging to get tasty dishes that are healthy and vegetarian friendly Feng Shui has a fantastic Vegetarian Delight and as I started this review with, they have one of the most AMAZING Pad Thai’s I’ve ever had(Vegetarian of Course). Having spent a month all over Thailand I’ve had my share of Pad Thai and Feng Shui has one of the most unique versions I’ve had.

Feng Shui operates 3 restaurants in Massachusetts, one in Chelmsford, one in Tyngsboro and another in Cohasset. The restaurant boasts high end Asian cuisine featuring special maki rolls and Japanese hibachi teppanyaki style meals. If one doesn’t want to participate in the lively cooking show, there’s an extensive menu with Japanese and Chinese offerings. We visited the Chelmsford location today for their weekend lunch buffet. Price was reasonable, less $ 15.00 per person. We got there right when it opened at 11:30AM and the workers were still setting up our table. Our server came to get our drink order and asked if we wanted soup. The options were miso, hot and sour and wonton. There was no egg drop so I went with the wonton. It was actually pretty good. For the buffet, there were 7 types of maki rolls and 3 types of sushi on rice I was surprised to see the dim sum offerings in the steel steaming trays. There were chicken feet, tripe, wontons, shumai, sticky rice and shrimp dumplings. I turned around and there was additional selection of Chinese delicacies that included pig’s ear and ox tail. The restaurant does cater towards the Asian community with these offerings To cater towards the western clientele, there was the typical American Chinese food that included wings, terriyaki, boneless spareribs, eggrolls, crab rangoons, lo mein, general gau chicken, etc My favorite entrees was the fried fish in sauce, braised pork belly and stuffed mussels. For dessert, the ice cream choices for the day was black raspberry and maple walnut. I was a bit disappointed that there was no green tea, coconut or red bean. Service was extremely friendly and quick. It didn’t feel like the typical Chinese buffet where the servers are rushed, annoyed and overworked. I’d definitely recommend this place and I’d go back!
