On 10÷4÷2015 our daughters wedding was perfect, with out flaw… Wait, not really! I emailed Happy Cakes at the contact us page of their website at the first of this month regarding our dissatisfaction and complete disappointment in the cake they provided for our dagutehrs wedding. As of today we have not heard from them at all! This shows me not only did they not provide the wedding cake we paid for, they also do not care how it saddened my daughter on her special day~ Please read on… this is what I sent to Happy Cakes, hoping they would rectify their wrong~ It has taken me about a month to find the words to express our disappointment in the wedding cake you made for our daughters wedding. Not only was it not what she ordered, the entire experience added unnecessary stress to our daughter the day before and the day of her wedding. 1) It was our understanding that delivery was part of the cost of as well as the services provided when ordering the cake. Getting a call the day before the wedding day stating you would be out of town and unable to deliver was a bit unexpected. YOu did advise you would have an employee at the store so we could come and pick up the cake. We understand things come up, but our thought was if you have employee who could be there for us to pick it up why cant they deliver? We accept the only option given to us and send family member to pick up the cake. They are greeted by someone at your store who barely spoke to them and did not even help get the cake to the car. As a matter of fact the person drove off before our family member was able to load the cake up! Of course, after we saw the cake we understood why. 2) Our family, the bride and groom are NOT Tennessee fans, my daughter and her husband HATE sports! So while everyone kept commenting on the Tennessee Vols cake our only question was… WHY was my daughters wedding cake White and ORANGE!!! She ordered a cake to be pink(like the one on Happy Cakes website, with gold(filigree) trim and fancy calligraphy L. My daughter and her then finace’ even went in to the bakery to make sure their wishes/order was understood. We got white cake, orange trim and an L that my 8 year old could do freehanded. Not only was my daughter in shock at seeing the cake, which we hid from her until after the ceremony she was so upset she didn’t even want to keep the top for her 1 year wedding anniversary. It went in the trash. I have pictures and I am asking that you provide my daughter with a full refund! Again as of today we have not heard back. Be cautious if you want your special day and a very large expense to be right if you choose Happy cakes.

My birthday cake was beautiful but I was disappointed. I expected a GREAT cake from the reviews but the layers tasted like a mix not homemade. The cake was expensive for what we got. Sorry ladies.
