I have never experienced anyone as rude as the blonde woman with glasses who works here. She seemed annoyed that we were even in there. Everyone has bad days, but you really shouldn’t take it out on the customer. Never going back.

I called this evening to find out what time you were closing, was told 8:30, I was coming from Sandwich. drove the 35 minutes to your place, got there at 8:04 and was told«take out only». It would have been helpful if you also said, take out only after 8. This is the second time it has happened to me. I own a store in Sandwich and have told customers when they are in Chatham they need to go to Carmine’s. Never again will I recommend your place or go out of my way to go there myself.

With pizza, I’m picky. I’ve been spoiled by Long Island, NYC and now New Haven(CT) pizza my whole life. We stopped in for a couple slices before a show. It’s a typical pizza place. The staff was friendly. The pizza was OK, but nothing to write home about. Pretty good crust. Not much flavor in the sauce. Satisfactory cheese. We didn’t get any toppings. Would we go back? Probably. But I’d try some other local pizzerias first.

I do truly like Carmine’s but there is something always a little strange about mostly Eastern Europeans serving Italian trendy pizza(for example with Buffalo chicken) in very New England Chatham. It is convenient when in town and perhaps the best pizza in Chatham. We still like the regular cheese best of all. Call ahead when you want a whole pie!

The pizza was good but the young adults(def not kids but didn’t act like adults) were rude and didn’t take care of the establishment. When it was super slow the tables were dirty, wet puddles on the floor, which we informed them about and the girl just laughed and shrugged her shoulders not seeming to care. Sort of sad for the owner because I bet he didn’t think his employees would have such little respect for his resturant.

Decent pizza for Massachusetts. Thick tomato sauce. Crust was a bit thick in some areas and soggy in others

Oh, it’s the memories lasting about 20 years back of Carmine’s and the taste of their pizza and the snug location in the heart of Chatham which still last until today. Being from Switzerland I can say that my tasste buds for American-style Pizza were shaped by Carmine’s as much as my love for Italian pizzas has been forged in Italy. All the best wishes to the Cape from Switzerland!

Awfully entitled and unprofessional staff. We ordered a pizza with certain topics. When I went to pick it up, the cashier repeated my order correctly, I paid for the pizza and he asked me to pick it up at the next counter. I gave them my order slip and picked up the pizza. On my way to my car I opened it and saw that it had the wrong toppings. I went back and the woman at the pick-up counter told me that this is what I had ordered. I asked for my order slip where it showed what I had ordered and she refused to show it to me. She said that she remembered the order and that’s what I had asked for. Instead of accepting their mistake she kept trying to convince me that I was out of my mind. She then told me that they could make a new one for me but I would have to wait another 25 min(I had already waited 40 min for a small pizza). No apology, no acceptance of error on their part. I left with the wrong pizza disgusted by their unprofessional attitude.

Went here based on the other Unilocal reviews as it received the highest rating compared to other pizza places. We ordered a plain pie and a sausage and onion. Verdict: the pizza here is pretty terrible but not quite inedible. The sausage and onion pie was better due to the toppings masking the flavor, but once we started on the plain pie we could really taste just how bad it was. The sauce is completely devoid of flavor along with the cheese. The crust appeared well cooked on the outside, but was doughy and chewy on the inside. I guess this is what happens when you get pizza outside of NY/NJ– you never know what you’re going to get even if reviews say it’s good. If this is the«best pizza on the cape», I shudder to think of the quality of every other pizza place here. How hard could it be to mess up a pizza? Apparently very easy. 1⁄5 would not go back

On my last night in Cape Cod, I went to Carmine’s for pizza with the family. It was relatively dead; it was a Tuesday night and pouring rain, but it had been pretty busy earlier in the week and on the weekend. There’s not a whole lot of places to sit here, so I wouldn’t bank on eating in, especially if you have a large party. My family ended up ordering a large buffalo chicken pizza as well as a small cheese pizza to split between 7 people. I honestly didn’t think it’d be enough pizza, but that, plus a small salad, left everyone feeling content. I really liked the buffalo chicken, although it comes with cilantro on it, which I found kind of odd for that type of pizza. I don’t think it really did much to enhance the flavor, and the fried chicken pieces on top weren’t incredibly crispy. Despite all that, it was very tasty, especially with the crunch of the celery, and the ranch dressing I got on the side. The highlight was definitely the crust, which was just chewy enough and very light. I’m not sure if pizza is big on Chatham, and I didn’t get to experience any other pizza shops there while I was on vacation, but it was definitely some pretty good pizza. Did it blow me away? Not really, but if you’re not trying to do anything fancy or trying to feed a large amount of people, then this is a safe bet.

Decent pies, but nothing amazing and service was pretty bad(granted that might have had to do with it being the holiday wkd). We called ahead and ordered 4 pizzas and were told it would take 40 mins but it took well over an hour and it was a disaster when we got there. The Californian was the best by far… not necessarily a white pizza but great sauce and crust.

Overall great pizza. The crust was very soft, and the sauce had great flavor. We ordered pepperoni on half but mushrooms all around, but we only ended up getting mushrooms on half and pepperoni on the other half. Still it’s one of the only take out places in Chatham, and it was incredibly tasty, so if you’re not planning on going out for lunch or dinner, I highly recommend Carmine’s!

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to agree that carmines has the best pizza I’ve ever had. I mean real old fashioned pizza, not nouvelle cuisine. The crust is so good it’s impossible to eat just one slice. Sort of thin, but crisp and oh so flavorful with good olive oil and crunchy cornmeal on the bottom. And the sauce is primo. The staff are generally Eastern European workers who may have some difficulties with English, but they are incredibly busy in the summer and they are trying hard to do their job. At any rate they learn how to bake a pie properly and turn out the orders as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. I just don’t want to go anywhere else for pizza.

Grabbed a quick slice and a Greek salad — best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Wish we could get it in Baltimore! Salad was fresh and yummy. Only negative was no brewed iced tea — just Fuze from the machine.

Needed a quick pizza before game time. The ladies working we’re friendly, quick and pleasant despite it being the end of the night. They made sure to take care of us with drinks, plates, napkins, cheese and more! Pizza was great on a cool Autumn night.

i went in with a folding bike and they didn’t let me, I’m like serious? It’s smaller than a baby carriage. Meanwhile the pizza was good, the crust was crispy and the cheese was delicious, pizza not salty at all, small slices and it was pretty expensive for me.

The pizza here is pretty good, but it’s a little smaller than the typical slice and slightly pricier.
