I can’t believe it took me this long to wander into a place that sells two of my favorite things. This is a tasting room for Little Washington Winery and they have paired it with truffles from master chocolatiers all over the country. Did you know that Little Washington’s George has tied with Barboursville’s Octagon for the last three years as Virginia’s top red? I had no idea. Do yourself a favor and go visit Amanda — this shop is very special.

This is a cool little place! Turns out they are basically an extension of Little Washington Winery, so they do a tasting like you would get up at at one of the local wineries! Informative and fun. We did the Choco-​Vino Challenge and got three wines (Including our favorite: George!) paired with three truffles. George and the dark chocolate sea salt caramel? Oh my goodness.
People we friendly and very informative. We had a great time.
