This is a true niche coffee shop. They make everything slow and to order, and the menu is limited as such. That said, the coffee is fantastic and literally every cup is made fresh to order. If I were a work from home type or just needed to get something done without my kiddo around, this would be a perfect place to go. The food I saw available was quite limited, but I was there late afternoon and they close at 5. I would definitely go back for a cup of small batch delicious joe.

Chocolate Bars are made on site (From Roasting the beans to the finished Bar) and each Bar is «Single Origin» I’m guessing this means Country «Origin» not Farm nor Tree? It could be!
My First BAR was the: : 69% Madagascar Sambirano Valley… The Verdict is still out! My Curiosity is increased… My First impression was it it Strong and Bitter… Eating small bites very slowly and I paired it with a Delicious Muscadine Juice
with a phone Number like 555. 5555 it has to be Really Great or really… If your Phone Button gets stuck or if you mainly want Numbers like 5 (like in all those Movies you’re in luck (or Skill) NOTE to the Owners HOLD on the that Number… Unless you keep getting Cab requests or Szechuan Take-​out Order calls!

My chocolate latte was sooooo good. I suppose 3.75 $ is the avg price for coffee drinks nowadays, and they only offer 1 size. This was the very first time I’ve ever gotten the adorable heart milk design on my latte so thank you for that :) I loveeee the location with Studio IX. It is a great place to get a coffee then do work there! It is a bit far but I’d say worth trying if you’re ever in the area!

I wanted to love this place mostly because of the awesome name but the Honduras made in a chemex was nothing special. With that being said, they make some amazing chocolate, definitely give that a try.

Shark Mountain Coffee is awesome! I only wish the locations were a little bit closer, so I could enjoy it more often. They roast all of their coffee in house in small batches at their roastery location downtown. This make their coffee really unique and standout from other places. Added bonus, their americano is only a buck until 9 a.m. This is hands down my favorite coffee in Cville!

Their espresso and coffee is absolutely great and the review saying otherwise below is crazy. Haven’t found many other places in town with the quality they are putting out here. Also helps that everyone who works here is uniformly genuine, friendly. and informative.
