Terrible service. Love TSC and will continue to frequent other locations. I will never go back to thus one.

Great TSC. Been multiple times the last few months with no big complaints at all. Employees aren’t the biggest chatters but get the job done quick and correctly.
Definitely recommend checking this location out.

I always loved their smoothies, then they came out w/​the island green last year and I fell in love! But my favorite seasonal one is cucumber mojito. And the best part is, you can customize any smoothie to your liking. Plus their food is actually really good. My favorite is the Baja chicken flatbread.

Two years ago I went into this same store and the service was not very good so I didn’t come back for quite a while. Earlier this year I stopped in and noticed the «Under new ownership» sign and I figured I would give them another chance. Many of the same people were there, but I did noticed that the service was a bit better. I then stopped back in a few weeks later and noticed a whole new group of employees who were very pleasant, friendly, and seemed to enjoy being there.
This location is right near my office so it’s very convenient for me. I’ve been coming there regularly for the past two months and have really enjoyed the changes that they have made since my first visit two years ago. The food is quite good, not too expensive, and the service is better than most places in Charlottesville. I’m glad to see that they made the necessary changes as I really enjoy going into the restaurant for lunch and dinner. Try the chocolate chip cookies if you get a sandwich as they’re really amazing.

Decent food, worst service in C’ville. Not worth the hassle. Good luck if you get a LivingSocial coupon or anything like that… it is their kryptonite apparently.

I was a fan of TSC back in Orlando, but for some reason, never visited this one (okay, I stepped in once and it was too empty so I left, so that didn’t really count).
Hubs and I stopped in last week after work bc I hate shopping at Kroger on an empty stomach. For $ 7, we tried the half sandwich and smoothie combo — I think this is a pretty good value considering the quality of the meal.
Definitely a solid choice for this shopping center.

LivingSocial was having a deal on this place, $ 12 for 5 smoothies. When we went in to get a smoothie the guy behind the counter was real irritated and didn’t seem to happy that we got a deal. The only reason why this got two stars was because the smoothies were actually pretty good. After we get all of our smoothies we will not be going back. Ever.

The food was fine. I’ve been to Tropical Smoothies in other cities, so I knew what I was getting. However, the service was terrible. There was a woman standing in front of me in line when I came in. A few minutes later no one had even said they’d be with her yet and she walked out. I waited several more minutes after the promise that someone would be «right with me». Once someone finally came to the register and took my order, he was awkward and didn’t really help me when I needed to choose a side. I waited a few more minutes, got my food, and the guy who gave me my order was very strange and said «you better enjoy this, I made it with my own two hands» and held on to my food for a strange amount of time. Plus, it’s a bit overpriced.

Smoothies as big as my head with as much flavor.
I had the turkey guacamole sandwich on wheat with a coffee based smoothie and my wife had the Thai Chicken wrap with a tropical fruit smoothie. Sandwich and wrap were really good. Service was good, you order and they bring it to your table, and only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the computer system was acting wonky so we had to wait while they fixed it to order. They probably need a manual backup to take orders so they don’t have to make people wait, but those kind of things happen. I will most definitely eat here again.
