Reserve at Belvedere Apartments

Great place to live. The management is the best we have ever worked with– prompt when responding to maintenance requests, polite and professional. The location is quiet, yet centrally located for easy access to both the north side of town and downtown.
The only downside is that people don’t pick up their dog poop– and there are a LOT of dogs. Don’t set foot in any of the grassy areas. This isn’t for lack of trying from management though– they are aware and send frequent reminder emails but there isn’t anything that can be done.

I have lived at the Reserve at Belvedere since December. I would give this complex a 5-​star-​rating if it were not for the noise level coming from the apartment above me. My apartment is lovely and the deck faces the woods which I though would be a very nice spot to enjoy a warm evening. But I can’t enjoy either because of the noises coming from the apartment above me. A young child runs, jumps and screams almost on a daily basis. The jumping in place going on above my kitchen causes the light fixtures to rattle not to mention my nerves. Management seems unable to do anything about it. At first they said that they needed to hear the noise themselves. That took several tries because every time I called them over, the running and jumping would stop or we would discover that they had gone outside. Finally, one of the employees came over and was able to witness the shaking light fixtures and hear the running and jumping. He agreed with me that the noise level was intrusive and much louder than what you would expect from normal movements. Still management has done very little to ease this situation. So I use headphones or turn the music up to cover the thumping in the ceiling or walls. The piece and quite that I was seeking is not to be and I would suggest that if you are looking for the same, this might not be the place. Or at the very least, be careful in choosing your apartment.

We have lived here more than 6 months and love it. The facilities are the best we’ve seen even if one was to pay considerably more and we love our apartment. I saw the previous comment about thin walls? That is not our experience at all. Quiet, comfort, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a generous balcony have made our apt a haven. Great trails nearby and 3 miles from downtown. We looked all over. This can’t be beat.
