Worst hotel ever. First it’s under construction. The workers are staying at the hotel there was sawing until 9 pm ans started at 730 am. They should close until its eemodeled. Its so dirty and run down they want to charge you over 100 dollars when it’s worth 50. I was away on business and this hotel was booked by my company. I would never stay here personal and if I could have went somewhere else I would have.

We stayed here since we were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a night while we were visiting Monticello and the charlottesville area. Definitely not the cream of the crop at the Comfort Inn but not so bad that I wouldn’t consider it again if I needed somewhere in a bind and didn’t want to spend close to 200 elsewhere. The bad: 1) Our room had water damage you would think they would fix prior to giving out the room 2) The bathroom sink had mold in it and apparently the shower didn’t drain… after noticing the mold I didn’t go to the shower 3) We were with another group and we needed non smoking, one king room, one double beds… only king rooms that were available were smoking… seriously? The good: 1) It is close-ish to Monticello and UVa which are the two places we really wanted to visit 2) They have a continental breakfast that is ok… but kind of meh.

The only good thing to say about this hotel is that the staff is very nice. They were all friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is terrible. I’m talking moldy, peeling wallpaper and stale cigarette smoke terrible. The carpets are filthy and the toilet was not clean. I wish we could have left but it was raining so camping was not an option and all other hotels were booked.

worst hotel ever. I went to drop my kid there for college and my PREPAID reservation was«sold» to another customer. I arrived there around 11:30pm, the staff there tried to correct and assigned me room 247… guess what… we opened the door and a guest was there already sleeping in the room… poor guy he almost died thinking he was being robbed. around 12:30 am I was transferred to a different location. The next day I spoke to Becky Kerere who as a courtesy for all the mess agreed to pay for my stay in the new location. A week has passed and still waiting for her to honor her promise. Shoddy business and terrible management on this location. Planning to stay at this location… think twice… Pay a little bit more somewhere else

I feel like such a schlub giving out so many 4 stars to my Charlotteville experience, but it seemed everyone brought their game this weekend. Now, I booked this room, back in August I think. I had inside information DMB was playing the concert here on 11÷19÷11÷20 so I locked in the 99.00 rate(weekend!). WOWOWOWOWO What a deal. Friendly staff, free breakfast, wifi, it was right where we could walk to JPJ every night, exceptional. Beds were comfy, although we got two twins instead of a King size(more snuggle time!), I have no complaints. If I were to go to another show at JPJ I would absolutely book here again.
