Anyone who has ever planned a move knows how difficult and costly it can be. And there are people who would probably get screwed over driving a U-​Haul (like me…) Finally there is another option. Best app worth trying 2016.

I was moving into a new apartment not far from my previous place, and didn’t have a lot of big pieces of furniture other than a king bed.
Most movers (and I called about 8 local companies) charged a minimum of 2 hours labor for 2 men and a one time traveling fee, which made the cheapest movers approximately $ 80-​$ 100.
I happened to see an advertisement for VanMile, and the way they charge is literally what you have, how many people you will need, and distance.
They quoted me $ 36. My move is done, and guess what? I actually paid $ 36, no surprise fees or charges.
Derrick was my mover, he was actually a few minutes early, with a smile, and very pleasant– we knocked it out from door to door in about 40 minutes.
I highly recommend trying VanMile, and locally in Charlotte, Derrick was excellent.
