This is connected to the Mallard Creek Greenway and it runs through UNCC. Nice trail.

Horraay for greenways! I was excited to see that this greenway was finished and connected to Mallard Creek Greenway. Just another trail to add on the map of being active in Charlotte. The trail connects at the Mallard Creek Greenway with a cor-​ten steel bridge and is paved through UNCC’s campus all the way up to the intersection of University City Blvd and WT Harris. Overall the Parks and Rec website considers the trail a 2 mile trail (including the connector to Tryon) and I have run it a couple times now.
I think there are plans to extend it more, but for now, it’s great!
