The drive thru can be a mad house — but the ladies are wonderful… They all remember you and after being a regular long enough, you don’t have to even ASK! I really can’t stomach going to another Bux in fear that they won’t be anywhere near as lovely!

Everyday for the past 8 – 9 years, give or take vacations, sick days and weekends, I come here for my tall non fat one splenda latte. It’s my happy hour drink! They have never let me down.

I go inside each morning for the past week. One guy makes my drink pretty good I don’t know his name. Today he wasn’t there and I think whomever made it forgot my extra shot of espresso. Other then that they aren’t busy when I go so I’m in an out.

I am new to the Starbucks apps and accidentally ordered drinks at from the wrong location. They were nice enough to give me the drinks anyway (I showed proof of payment). They didn’t have to but did. Great customer service!

This Starbucks is terrible. I love Starbucks and have probably been to 80% of the Starbucks in Charlotte and never done a review. This one has to be one of the absolute slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. I have to go to this location when I’m running errands near Ballantyne and no matter what day or time of day they are so slow it is mind boggling.

Worse Starbucks ever. They got my simple order wrong & told me to my face I was wrong. They also filled both my grande lattes only half way. No exaggeration. One latte had no syrup while they other one had double. Just flat out rude employees.

My husband and I are avid Statbucks drinkers so when he had a meeting with a client and I had to kill 45 minutes or so with our twins, I googled the closest location. Was the drive thru line horrendous? Yes, but we are used to that and it is common for locations in busy areas. Was the parking lot packed? Yes. But, the staff was amazing. Each person went out of their way to help as I balanced two infant carriers and my coffee. I genuinely appreciated the kindness. Not all Starbucks teams are so nice.

Definitely my go-​to coffee spot when I’m in Charlotte. The cashiers are always very friendly and even like to joke with customers. The coffee is always made exactly how I’ve asked with the right amounts of milk and sugar. I recently ordered a grande iced coffee with whole milk and 3 pumps of syrup. It was perfection!

3 words. Quinoa Stuffed Avocado. + 2 words. Add Chicken. Back to 3 words. So dang good! Bunch of words. I hereby give my confirmation of the recommendation of this dish. I loved it. Just the right amount of everything in this to-​go bowl type rectangular container. Their chicken is rotisserie good. Tried cilantro rice (pilaf) & plantains both tasty.

Fast friendly service. Accommodating with special orders. Breakfast and snack items are cooked well. Great place to wake up in the morning

I liked my experience at this Starbucks where I supped down a double espresso (in a paper cup??) and did some Internet surfing while people watching. Good seating inside with some smaller tables, comfortable chairs and a large «community» table.
I found the crew to be a little loud with their chatting. One of them is looking to move to a new Starbucks and everyone got to hear about his life.

I’ve come to this starbucks too many times to count, via the drive-​thru or in store, but I think I’m going to drive the extra mile to visit the other starbucks in Stone Crest moving forward. I’m well aware this is the complete definition of a first world problem. I’ll start with the good.

Cons:
1. The parking lot is terrifying and the drive-​thru is always slammed
2. sometimes the staff can be rude
3. always busy and clearly not enough staff
4. coffee is so-​so, sometimes it’s good and sometimes it is nothing like it is supposed to taste
5. really really slow and have forgotten to make a drink on mutiple times.
I don’t want to hate on the staff, it’s not just their issue, overall, this place is a headache and not worth the wait.
Next time, I’ll just keep driving.

I have come to this location probably a dozen times, and they have been subpar to decent at best. Today though, while on my way to work, I stop inside and place my order. After waiting around 15 minutes, I finally explain they forgot my drink order. They give me the look like I must be lying and that this could never happen. Like it would worth it to lie over a $ 3 cup of coffee?! I never even received an apology for the wait. Is this how you treat a customer? Last time I will go here.

Of all of the Starbucks Coffee Shops in Ballantyne, I would have to say that this is my LEAST favorite. Almost every time that I come here my order is made incorrectly, or it takes ten minutes. I honestly only come to this Starbucks because they are the only coffee shop in a close vicinity to my home that has a drive-​thru. Typically, my Frappucino is melted when it is given to me or my macchiato is cold, which makes me cautious every time that I leave, as I always check and then have them remake the drink. Unless you are running late and cannot make it to the Starbucks at Blakeney or Stonecrest, I would not recommend this Starbucks (I would choose the one in the Harris Teeter across the street over this chain).

Great service! Went through the drive-​through on Monday morning and when I got to the window I realized they had made my coffee wrong. The woman who took care of me was apologetic, made sure my coffee was made properly, and gave it to me on the house. Mistakes happen and I hugely appreciate great customer service.

Why do I continue to come here???
9 visible employees with a drive through line out into the street and the inside line not much better. All around are sad faces anxiously waiting for orders that may never come. Not even a ‘good morning’ nor a smiling face at the register. It was appropriate for what was to come. After paying, customer after customer kept asking the barista where their order was.
Incompetence and inefficiency are in full-​swing at this location.
After further disgust with the lack of ANY URGENCY, I brought the situation up to the person claimed to be the manager. There was a weak apology: ‘I understand’ and an excuse that an 8 drink order had come in.
It is common for drink orders to come in, staff should be prepared to serve drinks. Further, the staff should be NICE AND FRIENDLY. An apology for your excessive wait goes a long way. Using the first name you gave at checkout to announce the coffee order was even skipped — a final signoff for this crappy location.
I almost missed this non-​update: the iced coffee continues to be very bitter, not in a good way.

This place is good is the Buick commercials that Matthew McConahay makes.
I go for the ambience and the reading.

This is definitely not one of my favorite Starbucks locations. I usually stop in at least twice a week in the mornings between 7A — 9A. The staff is ok, but don’t expect exceptional service here and always check your orders. The drive through line can sometimes be backed up with 10 – 12 cars, but it generally moves pretty fast.
Bottom line, if you have to have your Starbucks in the morning, go ahead and stop in, just check your order before you leave to ensure it is correct and you are disappointed.

I’ve been here countless times (well, no, you could count) because it’s right near my job. There is always a line because the plaza is poorly designed with minimal parking; the line of cars often spills over into the flow of traffic. That’s not SBUX’s fault though.
The staff is great – especially CLAUDIA. They’re really courteous and always get my drink order correct. They’ve had some turnover in recent months, but at least the hiring manager consistently hires good people.

My favorite Starbucks in Charlotte! They never mess up my order and for some reason the coffee just tastes better from this location.
The baristas are always super friendly as well.
