So wonderful! I never write reviews but they definitely deserve one. I’m from out of town(like most in Charlotte) and I’ve gone to the same dentist my entire life. I was nervous about going to someone new and put off going to the dentist for over a year. I just so happened to hear about them through work and finally sucked it up and made my appointment. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Everyone in that office is so nice and personable. They made me feel like I’d been going to them for years. They really do care about you as an individual and I’ve already set up my next 6 month appointment! No need to look anywhere else :)

Go to them if you’re looking for excellent dentistry with a good dose of history. We’re regulars there, they have always been so pleasant and the hygienists and dentists are always warm and do excellent work.

The dental service is clean, professional and excellent, staff are all very friendly and warm like families. Overall experience is great, except one thing — the billing. This is why I gave took 2 stars off. They have Smile Maker Plan and this plan is designed for people don’t have or have poor dental insurance(which means with paying such insurance and dental care you still pays more totally than what this plan costs), as an alternate. Considering even Blue Cross& Blue Shield dental insurance only covers an individual 40−50%( ), this does look like good deals, right? What is not advertised in the flyers though, is the rates of such plan will NOT apply to you until after your first treatment. I had gingivitis, didn’t have dental insurance, was encouraged to sign up the Periodontal Exam item on Smile Maker Plan list, which is $ 550 including all exams and cleanings for 4 sides of my teeth. It gave me the impression that I will be charged at this rate. Then I was very puzzled on receiving their bill, stating almost doubled cost($ 1096). While asking why, I was told the $ 550 rate only applies for my next year’s teeth maintenance cleanings. Signing up for this plan does not mean its listed rate immediately takes effective. In my case, the plan won’t work until my very first round of treatment is over. In another word, I could pay only $ 550 for my next year«maintenance treatment», but also it’s only after I pay $ 1096 for my initial treatment which basically is the same exams and cleanings. This full advertisement is tricky. Of course It’s also part of my responsibility not questioning to know whether signing up the plan covers my first treatment. But just remember, you want to make sure the number of what the actual cost is at the very first time visit. The number you see on Smile Maker Plan does not necessarily equal to your actual treatment cost.
