So, it’s certainly not a sass pants review, but I was having some breathing issues so I went ahead and made an appointment with Dr. Harley at Meck ENT. Thrilling, I know. Try to contain your excitement. The office is located off of 7th St. in that gray medical/small office complex. Parking was pretty easy and I went ahead and walked right in. The interior is standard doctor chic — piles ‘o magazines and fairly friendly people taking your information and giving her 8,000 forms to fill out about your medical history. Tip — make sure you flip over the forms, I forgot to fill out an entire side. Since I was on time, I only waited a few moments in the waiting room and for the actual doctor. That’s a total score. I won’t get into the boring breathing details, but suffice it to say that Dr. Harley is efficient, kind and thorough. I have to head back in a few weeks to see him again, but I would definitely recommend him to other folks looking for a kind and reputable ENT in Charlotte. Side note — if you’re having any scope work done/exploratory stuff, make sure you know what you *may* be paying with your insurance ahead of time. Sticker shock happened to me because ENT is a specialty doc.
