Charlotte Ear Eyes Nose & Throat

What a POS business !!
It started with a simple visit to remove some ear wax build up. The next day, I could barely hear out of one ear. So, I called to let them know it seemed worse. After almost pleading to get another appointment, they agreed I could come in the next day. After removing a giant piece of wax, apparently left in the canal, I could hear correctly again.
Several weeks later, I got a bill for BOTH visits. Even though I highly disagreed with being billed twice for what should have been done correctly the first time, I decided to pay the bill, only in monthly payments. After my insurance, I owed $ 228. The first month, I paid $ 75. The second month I paid $ 75. The third month, I got a bill from Prince-​Parker & Assoc. collection agency, demanding the full balance.
Nice customer service, CEENTA !!! Was that $ 78 balance worth losing a patient and getting a negative online review ?
Needless to say, I will be finding another Eye Ear Nose and Throat doctor.

They’ve definitely done themselves a favor by updating/​refurbishing their intake area, especially for the optical center.
It used to be a small reception desk with a not efficient lady semi-​working, mostly snacking lady who wasn’t always so friendly to have you take a seat…
Now, they’ve gone more towards the rotunda reception, but not in a bad way.
The reception staff are vigilant & acknowledge you promptly, check you in for whatever & get you to a spacious seating area.
They’ve also have coffee/​tea staions where you can fresh brew your hot beverage while you wait.
While I was there an elderly gentleman asked for help from a passing staff member & she promptly found someone to come help him with what he needed & in such a pleasant manner, I was impressed.
Didn’t get what I needed on this quick drop-​in, but even though I couldn’t get my glasses buffed of scuffs, I was offered to have them tightened since I was there!
Definitely will go back even though it’s not my neighborhood anymore.

This is a wonderful branch of a reputable institution. CEENTA (Charlotte Ear Eye Nose & Throat Associates) has 16 locations in the Charlotte area, and deal with all kinds of needs, ranging from eye exams to hearing assistance to voice & swallowing issues. I had the great honor and pleasure of shadowing Dr. Karen Padgett, a Doctor of Audiology at the Steele Creek branch. She is a wonderful and caring audiologist, and this is reflected by her work ethic and dedication to her patients. They all adore her, and seeing her practice convinced me that I want to pursue audiology!
I also had the privilege of meeting Dr. Heavener and Dr. Parsons, both established ENT’s for that branch. The former is a fellow Carolina graduate (Go Heels), and the latter has practiced for over 30 years and often does missionary work in places like Vietnam, South America, etc. I have tremendous respect for these doctors as well!
Go visit CEENTA, they will take good care of you!
