Madewell

I really like this store, and I really love their sale section. J. Crew’s sister is priced a little higher than I would like but most of the items I’m after get discounted at some point so I end up winning in the end. (Or maybe they do? Either way, we’re both happy)
I kind of feel like if anthropologie and j. crew got together, that would be Madewell. With a splash of urban outfitters if you doubled the prices? The dresses tend to range from $ 80 — $ 180, and most of their denim goes for around $ 90. Usually the women who work here are extremely friendly and attentive. Though sometimes I can make it all around the store without much of a hello, once they do notice you they’re very helpful.
Madewell carries lots of jewelry, accessories, and shoes, but I usually pass by them, high tailing it all the way to the back and to the left… to all those with sales tags. (you can’t beat an awesome pair of jeans for $ 20, and dresses sometimes as low as $ 40) And although some pieces hang out in the back for a while, I know I’m not the only one who loves that sale section as the selection seems to change more often than the displays up front.
